What an incredible beach! Clear waters, very calm, and clean. Very very cold though, but it’s tolerable. There’s also a really good parking area. The rent fee for the umbrellas are not very expensive as well. Great local bar near the beach where you can get a quick ice cream or some bottle of beer or water. There’s also a proper area for shower. Really loved it!!!

To get here we passed through the cement factory and it was like going to a chaotic sci-fi futuristic movie. 🫣 The beach has lifeguards and is quite clean. The parking lot is quite small though. We were lucky to get a free spot but also we arrived at almost 4pm on a Saturday in early June. I believe this might be difficult to get too in the peak of the summer. Still wonderful.

Superb cafe on the beach with restaurant dining, sun terraces, great food, and drinks. Regular buses to and from Setúbal, or a short 10 minute drive with reasonable parking. Be warned it gets incredibly busy in summer from the early morning and often has police regulating the traffic.
