Staff was fine, check in was simple. Upon entering the room everything seemed fine until I walked into the bathroom. There was a tremendous amount of hair all over the bathroom floor, not in just one place.. There was also a dirty washcloth left in the shower. The toilet seat had apparently not been cleaned either as it appeared to have feces on it. I contacted the front desk they came in and looked at it And had someone clean it while we went to dinner. They assured us that the rest of the room had been cleaned but it definitely left an uneasy feeling for myself and my family. I do feel that as a customer I should have never been alone allowed to walk into such a dirty bathroom. There must be some type of protocol to make sure that the room and bathroom is cleaned and sanitized before a customer comes to stay in it.

Unfortunately the manager at this property wanted to put blame on her team instead of herself and I find that pretty reprehensible. An earlier employee tried to help me the best they could when a very loud banging that appeared to be metal pipes hitting each other was happening in my bathroom. They moved me rooms which fixed the issue and when I had questions about a rate change the manager condemned the employee for moving me. She also stated this is NORMAL for a room to sound like this because the outside air gets into the exhaust fans in the bathroom and makes noise. This wasn't wind noise, it sounded like loud pipes banging each other and they obviously have had complaints about this before because she had a canned response ready. Even though I was told there would no rate increase when changing rooms, it's still my fault for checking out early. I'm not angry about that. I felt empathy for the team that works under her if this is how she conducts business.

Stayed for 3 nights recently on a business trip. At this price point, I would have expected more hot breakfast options. Room was nice, tv was big and easy to operate. Pillows and sheets smelled like sweat, they need to be replaced. Not a horrible stay but would have expected much better at this price point.

The room was exactly as pictured on the website. This is definitely an upscale Fairfield. Check in staff was nice and friendly and quick. The room was clean the bathroom was clean and there was cute roses made with the toilet paper. A dove made with the towel. The bathroom was up to date and clean. Great safe location as well.

Nice new place. Comfy bed, good shower w/bath exhaust fan. Liked the pretty privacy screen on the window. Road noise quite a bit.

I came to Wesley Chapel for work and had a very extended stay at this location. The Housekeeping Manager (Gelma) was the most attentive to needs and room quality. I had my fiancƩ flying in to join me and Gelma went above and beyond her duties to help me welcome her with a surprise when she arrived. Gelma is someone who brings great value to the Marriott chain of accommodations. Marriott needs do whatever it takes retain this person at the level commitment she has well, as train others to mimic her level customer service.

I need to shout out the front desk agent Tiffany and the male housekeeper who were working the night before Ian hit. They were overwhelmed with people and inquiries but they remained very calm. Tiffany was flat out amazing. Not only was she calm and collected, she never stopped being kind, pleasant and helpful. With so many people checking in to get away from hurricane Ian she couldā€™ve easily been overwhelmed and edgy and I wouldā€™ve understood without judgment but no she was so nice, agreeable and constantly made sure guests had everything they needed. She was a breath of fresh air during a chaotic moment. People just being nice makes such an impact with things feel out of control. Tiffany you did amazing, thank you so much!

Nice new hotel, was in town for business I believe you were there for a Century 21 event. We saw each other during breakfast today, but didnā€™t get the chance to give you my card. You had short hair, wearing sleeveless shirt, black dress pants, tattoo on your shoulder arm Hope we can connect!

Great little spot. Check in/out was easy, rooms were clean. I like the layout of the bathroom. The shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers were my favorite. The room doesn't have a safe, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. The breakfast was good, nothing too fancy but got the job done. I would visit this location again.

Josh, Felix, Will, April and Jamie were all amazing and very helpful throughout our stay. As well as the AGM. I don't remember her name. They have a very solid team at this hotel. Keep up the good work.

I booked a stay (and reserved up to 15 rooms) for an International Education Summit and Conference at this hotel in November. The hotel, staff, and amenities were exceptional! From Nakia Henderson, the General Manager and Gregory Fountain, Assistant GM, to the front desk staff, we had an amazing visit and time. All of our USA attendees and guests from multiple foreign countries were treated professionally and with excellent service daily for the seven days we were there. The meeting room easily accommodated 50 people for the Education Summit, with plenty of space to avoid crowding. We were able to cater our own food in the evenings and at lunchtime in the meeting room; and the bountiful breakfast in the morning was amazingly wonderful and fresh daily. The breakfast attendants were professional, and as friendly and warm as the rest of the hotel staff. I very highly recommend this hotel and location in Wesley Chapel for any group or family looking for an awesome and pleasant experience away from home!

    1. Rug was moist 2. Had to complaint air in the room 3. Sofa bed mattress was flat that it was going through the wire that holds up the mattress. My daughter did not come back to sleep for two nights. 4. Kings bed was soft that my mother slept in niece house for one night 5. We ask for a walk-in handicap shower got instead a tub with chair. So my 101 mother had to left her leg to get into the tub that was the last time she took a shower. 6. People throwing furniture on top of the ceil at1:00 am 7. Started to cough when I hit the bed even if I brought my own pillow and covers and sheets 8. Thatā€™s when I started to cough a lot and it got worse going home had to see the doctor Monday to confirm that dust mites or something in that hotel gave me severe nose drip. Doctor provided three medication to take. I will not go there again. The lady at the front desk in the morning was very kind and understanding.

I was in Tampa for a week for business and this property was the closest to my friends new home in Wesley Chapel. Rooms were not as clean as o e would expect Carpet was so dirty that one has to wear shoes, always. They do not vacuum clean the carpet and you have to request housekeeping to do that. Despite making a request to clean room every day at the time of reservation confirmation i had to call frontdesk everyday for refresh services. If you try to contact via Bonvoy app, no one responds, timely. Though I'm an ambassador elite member, I did not get any upgrade, I paid regular rate and hotel was not full. When asked the frontdesk agent said if I made reservation for for upgraded room. Well, there is no upgrade for premium members. This is not a place ill go back again.

Warm, helpful and informative and welcoming without reservation. Clean room, hot water, silence. I had a great and peaceful time between too long birthdays. One of the nicest not expensive hotel I have ever stayed at. Thank you for the crew .

Checked in on March 3, was giving a room that I clearly thought was the assigned room for a 3 nights stay. Having reserved a room weeks in advance. The receptionist asked 3 times If we were staying for until Monday and the answer clearly given was yes. Woke up the following day and went to the mall came back to get ready for an even and we were locked out of the room. There explanation was that the room was a suite and we had only booked it for 1 night. The receptionists including the supervision refused to accept responsibility. Apart from the staff working in the continental breakfast area who were very warm welcoming and friendly, the receptionists on the other hand were cold and unhelpful. I will not be going back to this hotel neither will I refer anyone there. My first impression lasts has been activated. O stars

The location is tricky to get even for a local. However the hospitality the professionalism override that fact! The complementary breakfast and the staff, especially the cleaning staff and the manager of the cleaning staff were outstanding. Excellent and kind. Thank you very much!

Unexpectedly great experience. Rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Dylan went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased, and we were. Pleasant staff and had the coffee ready even before the breakfast area was open. Looking forward to our next visit.

We visited this location on August 12th. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. Kudos to the Manager on duty that evening. Thank you for making an emotional weekend very relaxing and enjoyable.

Very nice hotel with some of the nicest companionate employees I have ever met. My mom past a month ago and we had her ā€œCelebration of Lifeā€ here. The staff was compassionate and truly went above and beyond for my family.

It started with the service we were taken care of professionally and quickly. When I had to book an extra night Howie made the process so simple worry-free. He's a very professional employee and is an asset to the Marriott Brand. The rooms were clean, sheets very fresh. The breakfast was excellent and complete. If I could recommend any hotel to stay in in the Wesley Chapel area it is 100% recommended to stay here. Also a shout out to Shannon for hooking us up with some towels last night she was very friendly and accommodating. I will stay here when I come back to visit family again.

Although when I arrived there was a very large sports team checking in and I was concerned with what the noise level may be, then my room was on the same side of the pool area, but my stay was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff were pleasant and helpful and my room was nice and cozy. I love the shower set up and that it has a Keurig coffee maker. I also enjoyed that the hotel sits back in its on space and not surrounded by a lot of businesses, but in a convenient location with quick access to stores and plenty of restaurants. I wasn't a big fan of the breakfast and that there were such limited handicap parking spaces but I'll definitely return for another stay soon.

Best hotel I have stayed at in Tampa. Super clean, the front desk staff was more than excellent. The room smelled so clean, breakfast was delicious. It is around a lot of places. I would most definitely book again when I come back to Tampa.

Great place to stay for a week if you have to. Overall clean and up to date on room decor. Gave it a 4 star because the pool was extremely lacking. The pool design felt like an after thought. Changed my mind on the rating and gave it a 5 star, because at least there was a pool.

I've stayed at a lot of hotels in recent months and this one is a keeper! Large rooms. Very clean and well maintained. Big screen TV, charging station for phones. Beautiful bathroom and shower. Bed was comfortable and good black out window coverings. Lobby is friendly and inviting with a big screen TV, chairs, sofa, table. I was there for a wedding and we made good use of this area in the evenings. They have a well stocked snack shop. The breakfast was VERY GOOD in comparison to other hotels I have visited recently. Omelets, waffles, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, muffins, a toaster, fresh fruit, cereal, milk, fresh brewed coffee with real cream... For the lobby of a hotel included benefit... was really a nice spread. I had multiple interactions with the staff. They were friendly, helpful, and professional. They dressed nicely and accommodated our group in every possible way. They even offered to allow us to use a conference room on the first level after the wedding for no charge. Also, this wasn't just one employee. I interacted with multiple front desk clerks, the cleaning staff and the hostess at breakfast and they were all fantastic. I also had the opportunity to use their workout facility. They had cleaning supplies available, free weights, workout benches, ellipticals, treadmills, medicine balls, and more. It's not a big room, but it could accommodate a dozen people or more without feeling too crowded. The hotel is just down the block from a great mall with wonderful restaurants. I had dinner the night of my arrival at Noble Crust and it was excellent. All in all it was my best hotel experience in recent memory. Literally FANTASTIC! If you're traveling through or visiting the Wesley Chapel area I highly recommend you stay at this hotel.

if you are looking for a helpful staff, this is not the place for you. They are difficult and not supportive. Also, they are not responsive and left me the impression they are not customer oriented. As i am frequent traveler, I am also a platinum member, but after this experience may consider exploring Hilton Honors. Also, the General Manager (his name is Avi) was powerless to help me solve my problem. Which is unfortunately (maybe he is not empower enough to do so). I am Central Time, and usually check out at 4pm...so i had a very important meeting from 3 to 4 in Central and forgot that tampa is on EST. Anyways, they simply kicked me out of the room. Definitely not coming back.

Great hotel. I stay here for business often. The front desk staff is friendly. The rooms are very clean and there are plenty and a diverse selection of restaurants close by. There is also the Premium Outlet Mall. One downside is I would love if Marriotts would quit using these remotes for the TVs though and just use regular ones! These soft remotes have to be pointed directly in front of the TV and navigation through Netflix and other Apps is slow and frustrating. Also, the TVs are mounted flush on the wall but not moveable so if you want to use a Firestick or Roku or plug in for computer monitor, you cannot do it. These are some of the things designers don't think about but are very important to modern travelers

The staff are extremely friendly. The hotel has always been spotless. Breakfast is very good as well. We now just book here instead of looking around because this is a wonderful experience and close to great dinning.

Tiffany at the front desk has amazing energy - sheā€™s super nice, outgoing and personable. Within the last two years Iā€™ve stayed at over 50 different Marriotts and she has been the most pleasant. She most certainly deserves a raise or promotion. Thank you again!

We had a nice stay. The staff were helpful and kind. Marriott was out of our usual price range, but it felt like money well spent.

I was charged 3 times for the same reservation. When I showed the team up front my list of transactions they told me I needed to call my credit card company to remove transactions; this is impossible because I use a company credit card and I donā€™t have the access to remove transactions. Now, I am on the road and needing my companies financial assistance because Marriott Fairfield used up my months budget.

Property was great and most of staff very friendly. However, be aware that this property is a franchise and not the full Marriott package. We booked through the Marriott website, where it states a cleaning every second day, this property will service the room only every third day. We don't mind that so much but there is no "light" service, nor are the towels are changed until the third day as well. There is no room in the unit to dry the towels (only one small towel rack in bath). If one wishes, one can "return soiled towels to the front desk and a new set will be provided." What happened to the service ethic? Are the prices reduced for the 3 night stay versus the one-night? No. Further, they will charge the credit card the full amount of the reservation at ~6am on the morning of the reservation, not "as you go", or on checkout, or even checkin. They will also charge that credit card $20/day for "incidentals" even if one does not use/consume them. These will lapse and eventually refunded if nothing is incurred. Trying to understand and clarify got me to The Attitude. "We are a franchise, and we do things differently", "I've been here seven years and this is how its done" (note: I've been a Marriott client since before she was born!) There are other options in the area. I will be using these in future.

I love staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suite Tampa Wesley Chapel. The staff is sweet & wonderful, especially the manager Tiffany. When I walk in Tiffany always greets me direct "Ms. Lopez". She doesn't hesitate to jump and help when it is needed. She is a Team player, a kind person, and very welcoming. I always stay here and always look forward to my next stay.

Hotel was nice, clean and new. The bed was like sleeping on a countertopā€¦ Breakfast was decent except the lady running it started cleaning the waffle irons 30 minutes before breakfast closed which happened to be when we got there.

Shared room with friend for 2 nights. Staff is very friendly. Hotel has breakfast. Breakfast staff is beyond great. The room and bathroom are spacious but storage is minimal. Shampoo, conditioner and soap pumps in the shower. Mini fridge, microwave and keurig machine in room. You can buy some drinks and snacks in lobby.

One of my favorite hotels to stay for work. Location is a little bit from Tampa but not too bad. For the price, cleanliness and friendly staff I'll book here whenever available.

I found a large rip in the fitted sheet on my first night. It was late and I decided to sleep on the other side of the bed from the rip. On my way out in the morning, I explained the situation and asked that the sheets were changed as I had another night to stay. I also requested service via the app which was acknowledged. I wish I could say I was surprised when I returned to my room to find that the sheets were not changed, but this seems to be a common issue with Fairfield's. I requested some follow-up from manager who called me 3 days later and promised a follow up call only to never call again. As a weekly traveler, I think I have stayed at my last Fairfield and am beginning to question my Marriott loyalty in general.
