This is our second time staying at this hotel. It is so accommodating, and comfortable. It offers a really good breakfast where you can find fruits, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, cereal, coffee, you name it, it'll probably be there. There is also a small gym and a pool. There is a bar at the entrance, where you can stop by for a couple of drinks before going to bed. Also there are a lot of restaurants and stores and an outlet mall across the street. Definitely a great place to stay, and will likely go back.

I highly recommend you to stay away from this place! It was a disaster from the time I checked in. When I checked in I was told my company’s card was declined and come to find out it was entered incorrectly in the computer. That was embarrassing to be told with a line of guest behind me and I had to use my personal card because of this but that was nothing compared to my night. The AC wasn’t working and we were told they do not have a 24 hour maintenance personnel, instead the manager called the AC man who refused to come out until the morning and he told her to master reset the air. at 2am the air finally started working. I had to pay full price for no air and was told it wasn't broken just took longer to work. what a joke!!! i had 4 kids with me and it was 76 degrees in our room. They couldn't even offer me fans because another guest was using them whose AC also wasn't working. No need to call and complain to the Hyatt, they do not care and it's apparent they do not put their customers first.

This is a fairly new hotel it was clean and really nice but you can tell Hyatt skipped good quality in the rooms. The staff was nice which is good. The breakfast was not great it could be better!

Room 430 smells like dog pee. I couldn't switch two rooms because the hotel was oversold. I received the survey after my stay and the manager of the hotel followed up with a generic response that didn't address the situation. I also find it highly strange that the staff had a tip jar by the self serve breakfast. Who exactly is getting a tip when I get up and get over my own breakfast and throw away my own trash?

MY CAR WAS STOLEN AND THEY DID NOTHING. STAY AWAY. I’m a local and I came to this hotel to surprise my wife for Valentines Day. The hotel was fine but the service was terrible. I woke up the next morning to find out that 3 cars was stolen from their parking lot. One of them being my car. The staff did absolutely nothing to accommodate me. I even asked the 2 different managers if they could do something and each one of them passed the buck to someone else saying that they will reach out to me and of coarse nobody did. I’m furious that I’m out of a car, out of the $400 I spent to stay here and all I got was pain and suffering by choosing this hotel. Not cool. They could have offered something to make up for what I lost, not even a bottle of water was offered. Terrible and I thought it was a good neighborhood. Guess not

Have stayed here mulitiple times before but went there this time because of the hurricane. I wish I could give them ten stars. Clean, comfortable, free breakfast, unbelievable staff. They were so prepared for being completely booked and had three to four people working the front desk. No check in or check out issues. Open bar on the house from 7 -9 for all guests to ease hurricane stress. Waived all early check out fees. My highest possible rating. Great quality for an affordable price.

I am so upset! I will never stay here again! They overcharge my account, can't tell me what the charge is for. Crazy part is the card there charging isn't the card I use to book the hotel! They took 600 out of my account! It's been a day later and they keep taking money out of my account! Then when I call them, they do nothing to figure out why they keep taking money out of my account! Did not help me out, they could care less. This hotel can not be trusted! I'm so frustrated!

I stayed here for my nieces christening from July 29th-July 31st 2022. While I was packing to leave I noticed my sneakers were missing. Someone stole them out of my room while I was not there. I informed the front desk staff who then gaslit me by telling me that maybe they were in the lost and found which made no sense at all. I was also told I would be getting contacted by the general manger that evening which never happened. I have sense filed a police report as well as a complaint with the BBB I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay anywhere they may be stolen from. I am disgusted and I feel so violated I will never stay here again.

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I had a confirmation number called 3x and drove 3 hours to the location for them to tell me they have no rooms and don’t have me in the system. Do not recommend.

In Tampa for my little brothers funeral, flight was delayed so when we landed it was 1:30am, couldn’t book a room for same day, prepaid for reservation 5 nights, showed up finally around 3:30am to the hotel for early check in to find out the front desk guy couldn’t help us. (Didn’t want to help us). My mom, my older brother and I all slept in the truck, it was 38 degrees outside all because of a very unhelpful front desk staff dressed in all orange hoodie, very unprofessional and unhelpful. Will never stay here again, please go where your business is appreciated. I work in hospitality… Room is clean, hotel is clean, in a safe area. It’s unfortunate that his hotel has no customer appreciation.

Great hotel for a week long work stay. Rooms are nice and clean. No odors or excessive fragrance used to cover up other smells. Service was great! Breakfast is definitely higher quality than most of the other continental breakfasts I’ve had elsewhere. All the staff has been accommodating and very friendly. Highly recommend Hyatt Place Tampa Wesley Chapel if you’re looking to stay in the area.

Excellent location!!! Very close to shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The room was very clean. The pool was clean and very enjoyable. The complementary breakfast was very good as well. Staff were helpful and friendly. The only thing that I didn’t like is that even that we stayed for 2 nights, the room cleaning service is not offered unless you stay more night meaning that I had to ask for trash bags and throw my own trash and we are a family of 5. Also housekeeping leaves by 6pm for the day. Other else, than that everything else was great.

Our last night stop on our trip and enjoyed our stay. Rooms are comfortable. we sat down at the pool and had a glass of wine and then walked over to a close restaurant. Great location and several places around to walk or drive to eat. Friendly staff and newer place, only complaint is the low water pressure in the shower, but still a very nice place to stay over on our mother daughter trip.

This Hyatt has been 1 of my favorites. The location is centralized around everything you need, located right off the highway. The customer service was amazing and the staff is really friendly. I highly recommend this Hyatt for your future stay.

We drove from SC to Tampa for our vacation. The location of this hotel is perfect. It's right next to the interstate, and near places to shop, eat, and hang out for some fun. Also, there is a Dollar Tree a short walk, or a 1 minute drive up the road. We were able to jump on the interstate, and go to downtown Tampa with two or three minutes. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is the air conditioner. The first day it kept the room cool. At night I put it on high, at 72 degrees to keep the room cold while we slept. It got hot and woke us up. The temperature actually rose while being on high. When we came back to the room being out and about in town, the room was still hot. I found out after playing with the air conditioner, it only cools the room when it's on cold. On high, it just blows the fan, even though it's on air conditioner. After figuring that out, the room stayed cool. When we arrived, the staff was very courteous. The room was clean, albeit, a little smaller than the other Hyatt hotels we stayed in previously. The bathroom has a sliding door, and was quite spacious. The doors have a lock, as well as mechanism that you can flip to keep unwanted guest out (I will include a photo). We stayed Mon-Fri. The first morning for breakfast we woke up a little later than we wanted and ate. When 9 AM came around, the lady didn't start packing up the food right away. She gave everyone time to eat and then slowly started taking the food away. The next day, the other lady immediately started putting food away at 9 AM. She didn't wait or hesitate at all. The coffee was warm both days we ate breakfast. There is no microwave in your room so you have to go downstairs to the cafe area to warm your food. This didn't pose a problem for us since we only used it once. There is also a laundry room. It consist of one dryer and one washer. $3.25 for the washer (43 minutes) and $3.00 for the dryer (60 minutes).

BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION Terrible experience will never go back. Absolutely horrible service. My vehicle was One of three cars that got stolen that day, and on Valentine’s Day of all days. Don’t let looks fool you you would think that it was a nice area, but obviously not. I thought it would be nice of the hotel to offer me a complementary stay and upgrade for a room something but they did nothing but pull my leg and tell me somebody’s gonna reach out to me and Never did. I just went in person today to see what’s going on and spoke With a manager named Angel and she told me the best that they can do is 50% off my next stay. I would have taken a day or two complementary on off days during the week where they’re not even too busy, anything, but they want more money from me. If that’s how you treat your customers, you deserve everything you’re gonna get from this post. I gave you plenty of chances to make good on your part and this hotel failed miserably.

I wish I could give something higher than 5stars honestly. Stayed here with my sister and our kids for 8 days. Room was spacious with a “living room” area to hang out in, central worked a little too good lol, pool was cleaned daily and had nice long hours to keep the kids busy. Hotel was in a great spot close to some gems like 5below for last minute pool toys, Total Wines for us mamas and Crumbl. Staff was always so courteous and accommodating. The second we had an issue it was taken care of on the spot. I have never stayed in a better hotel in my entire life. Loved everything about this place. Did I mention the buffet breakfast?? With so many options my daughter didn’t eat the same thing twice lol. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

When they get your credit card for security deposit they will charge extra fees or even for extra nights. My company prepaid for 7 people for a week and the just decide to add a room charge to everyone's bill and not return the security deposit.. To all 7 of us ... No appologies for padding the bill either.. They get your credit card and begin charging what they want to it. ans ñ

Excellent customer by Brian J. He worked the evening /night shift. He was the highlight for my stay. I rated the room 3 stars because the carpet had a huge fresh wet spot when I came in the room and there was a huge ceiling crack that was so visible. Idk if there was a leak. Besides that the place is ok . I placed the photos in this review.

I travel to this area once or twice a month for work. Always try to stay here when I can. Rooms are clean, bar has decent hours, and it's a good location.

Clean rooms, awesome pool, comfy beds, and the best free breakfast! Abdullah at the front desk is the best! He was so hospitable and attentive, really went above and beyond to make our stay great!

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Wesley Chapel for 5 days and had a great experience overall. This local hotel offers excellent value for the price, with clean facilities and a complimentary breakfast that's a nice perk. While I didn't have the chance to use the gym or pool during my stay, it was reassuring to know they were available. One minor inconvenience was that my room was located right next to the housekeeping room, which meant I could hear the service staff coming and going throughout the day. It was a bit annoying, but not a deal-breaker. The room itself was generally clean, although I did notice some noticeable hand marks on the sliding door to the bathroom. Despite this small issue, I still believe Hyatt Place offers a step up from the nearby Hampton Inn and Hiltons down the street. In conclusion, I had a pleasant stay at the Hyatt Place Wesley Chapel, and I would recommend it to others looking for a reasonably priced and comfortable hotel in the area.

It was a beautiful room, it was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and all the staff was super nice but the hotel has a problem with noise. You hear (LOUD) road noise 24/7. Every time a door shuts down the hall, you hear it. I even had a problem where I could hear children playing in the pool… 6 floors below me like they were in the next room over.

Me & my fiancé just enjoyed our self at this hotel for our 3 day get away . Rooms are super clean , & when I asked for more towels a lady named Marion was such a delight, had a smile every time we saw her. She was on top of everything we needed & more. Definitely recommend staying there.

My wife and I was extremely disappointed about your hotel being an all pet friendly facility and not having any pet free rooms. The room we stayed in was filthy and smelled terrible and effected my breathing. The whole hotel smells like animals. I even took video of how filthy the carpet is. We will never stay here again and we will not recommend to anyone.

Very nice room, resturants within walking distance, hotel at end of dead end street kinda by its self. A credit card was required to be put "on file" even though I paid in full, when I checked out they switched the payment to my personal card instead of keeping it on the Business card that had already paid for it! They fixed it after I called to get it changed back.

Staying at Hyatt in Wesley Chapel has been incredible. We were greeted immediately with a smile and the check in process was smooth. The hotel is extremely clean. We enjoyed the bar, the gym, and conference center. If I could give this hotel a higher rating I would and recommend anyone stay here. Great location, friendly staff, and a clean/well organized hotel.

Stayed for 6 nights for our family vacation to Florida. Clean rooms, friendly attentive staff, great complimentary hot breakfast and good location near the interstates and several restaurants and shops. Would stay there again in the future!

I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for lodging. If you should have any problems during your stay, prepare yourself for awful customer service, poor management, and zero resolution. Extremely noisy hotel with insensitive guests. The people that were staying in the rooms surrounding mine were very inconsiderate of the amount of noise they made throughout all hours of the day and night. I heard kids running up and down the halls. I heard individuals arguing, laughing, yelling. I heard the hotel room doors slamming shut early in the morning, and very late at night. At one point, I could not bear the ridiculous amount of noise any longer… so I went down to the lobby and spoke to a gentleman named CJ. I explained the situation and asked if there was any way I could be assigned to a different room due to all the noise. CJ told me there was nothing he could do… He recommended I come back down to the lobby the following day since the manager would be there. I asked what time she would be in. CJ recommended I come down between 9 am – 11 am in the morning. So, the next morning I packed up all my belongings and hauled all my bags downstairs to talk to the manager in hopes of switching rooms. I came down around 10 am. I was told the manager had already left. This was extremely frustrating considering I had just woken up early, packed up all my bags, just to now be told the manager wasn’t even there. I was then told she would be back at 4 pm. I am not sure why I wasn’t told she’d be there at 4 pm initially. I wouldn’t have bothered to come down in the morning to begin with. So, around 4 pm I went back to the lobby and spoke with the manager on site named Angel. Frankly, after talking to Angel I did not feel like she cared about my concerns. The interaction was very brief. There was no apology. There was no attempt to make my stay more comfortable. No one went out of their way to accommodate for the unfortunate circumstances. I was given the information for the General Manager. I then emailed the General Manager Ana Zajac regarding my whole experience. I never received a response. I find this extremely unprofessional. I am terribly disappointed in the lack of hospitality and customer service. Instead of a relaxing, quiet, and peaceful stay… I experienced a stressful, frustrating, and chaotic stay. No one followed up regarding the situation. I find this to be unacceptable. The noise continued… From the 6th floor I could hear workers on or near the roof doing some sort of maintenance or construction. Hammering, banging, and tools and nails dropping. I was tremendously irritated. I will never be staying at another Hyatt Hotel or Resort. I have only had great experiences down the road at the Fairfield by Marriott and the Marriott Residence Inn. Please consider another hotel. The Hyatt Place in Wesley Chapel was unquestionably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had during my stay at a hotel.

This was a family trip during Christmas time and it was very easy to get to and had plenty of places to eat and things to do. Really went up to go to Snow Cat Ridge so the kids can experience some snow tubing fun. This hotel is not far and in a great area. Very clean and accommodating.

People running this place are crooks. They will gladly cancel your stay but will never give you money back. Even after admitting they made mistake, even after asking for medical records, and then stop responding. Booked trough xpedia too and they dont even answer to them. So better think twice about giving these crooks your card number. And after reading more reviews they do this all the time Or overcharge and dont answer. Pathetic!!!

100% Guarantee that you & yours will feel right @ Home. I called to reserve a room for same day check in w/ a 30 day check out date & w/out any hesitation my room was reserved & waiting for me. This was the only Place of business that would take this reservation, all others acted as if I was asking the impossible. The catch is I have a FEMA voucher. Nice place to stay in Wesley Chapel. Rooms are modern, and spacious, the staff was great, the only downside for our room was the lack of water pressure coming from the shower. A 10 minute shower easily turned into 20 minutes.

Location is ok, but my main concern was telling the front desk the toilet was broken and went outside, came back and it was fixed. So maintenance just enters at their own leisure? Wow. The water is freezing cold from 1am to 11. The breakfast was old, literally. The fruits were brown and I'll just stop here. I'll never stay with hyatt ever again. This was a long process.

I use love staying here but this evening not so much. The gentlemen at the front desk was totally rude and insensitive to what could be going on in my personal life and wanted to say something about my finances in front of 2 others. That’s not acceptable. My finances are none of his concern. Especially when all I was trying to do was split the payment between two cards. I didn’t have enough for the $50 deposit on one card so I asked if we could use a different card for that. After a hour of absolutely no help I went on Priceline and paid that way and was told by the ride man that I had to cancel that and use them. That was the straw that broke my back and than he had to say what he did about mg finances. I don’t need a person that I don’t even know to chime in in my life. That’s not his job. So needless to say it wasn’t a good time. I’m guessing it was because of me being white and not putting up with his ignorant comment that he kicked me out of the hotel and left me with no place to lay my head that night. People in Customer Service shouldn’t act like they’re better than anyone, they’re supposed to help, not belittle.

Wonderful experience. It's a brand new hotel! Staff is friendly, kind, and professional. Clean and stylish modern look. Great quality breakfast. I do think that to accommodate the amount of people during breakfast time they need more then one staff member to restock everything.

Bad experience here. My wife and I typically stay with the Hyatt chain. First time coming to this one and it was horrible. The room was not clean and we complained. The front desk did nothing about it. We asked for bath robes or slippers and the employee told us "we are not that type of hotel, you should have went to that type of hotel if you want those things". Very rude and I will never use Hyatt again.

Excellent! Claire and Maged were very professionals by providing me an my family caring & dedicated hospitality service during our stay this Christmas. The breakfast and cleaning staff also were dedicated to provide good service. We enjoyed our stay at this Hyatt! Furthermore we are considering coming back next time. Happy New Year!

Highly recommend hotel. Great location- close to everything. Hotel is incredibly clean! I truly cannot say enough good things about the customer service provided by the hotel staff! Abdullah at the front desk was so sweet, kind, and helpful trying to rectify an issue we had with our room. The manager Odyssey Leon values his customers and is committed to providing high quality customer service. After staying at this hotel and interacting with the staff- I am now a Hyatt loyalist! I look forward to returning to the hotel!
