The staff was very accommodating and hospitable. Everything is quiet and neat. I chose this hotel based on the reviews and location . I checked and rather late this evening as my family and I were enjoying fun at the nearby theme parks. The only reason won my rating is Lao is because there was a German roach in the mini kitchen fridge area. I am totally shocked with the rave reviews. Again the customer service was outstanding. Exceptional. Also my room didn't have any soap, hand soap to be exact. However that is an easy fix.

Night staff of one particular person was a bad experience. Coffee pot didn't work. Had to go to the desk for the remote to work twice. Window shade allows all the night lights in. BUT breakfast was very good with quite a variety.

Please read the whole review, it does sound like I have a complaint while explaining the situation, but I'm very happy in the resolution & help I got from management & staff! I didn't stay. I had booked a reservation for a friend who's in FL, I'm in Indiana. The friend ended up not needing the room & I had to cancel same day, which I understand from also working front desk at a Holiday Inn up here typically gets a same day cancellation fee. When I called & spoke to reservations that night to cancel, I think I spoke to a man named Adam (not a staff at the hotel directly, just their reservation dept.) he said he would most likely be able to get the fee waived for me, but wasn't able to because the room got checked in. My friend had never showed & I had even called earlier that day to confirm the card on file needed to be changed at check in, but the room had gotten checked in by the 2nd shift girl when no one had arrived. The 3rd shift guy I spoke to was kind & understanding & did his best to help, but since he wasn't a manager there wasn't much he could do. I called & spoke to management today, I unfortunately didn't get her name, but she was so kind & understanding as well & very helpful & was able to get the cancellation waived for me because of all of the confusion & misunderstanding. We're planning a vacation for this coming fall, to the area, & I 100% have this hotel on my list for possible stays! Thank you so much to the manager I spoke with & the 3rd shift staff! The way you both handled the issue I had was a huge help & relief!

This hotel was super clean and pretty. The lady at the front desk was amazing. She was super sweet. The moments we walk through the front doors we knew this was going to be a wonderful experience. Breakfast was also great. We will be returning!

Hotel behind a car dealership hard to find without GPS. The room was comfortable, bed slept good. No hot water at 630 am no breakfast served at 630 am. Pool was nice.

this hotel is fantastic. second time staying. the room we booked had a bad thermostat and was accessible (which we didn't need). we were quickly moved to another room, but it wasn't same type of room we booked.... but it was nice and cold! imo, hi express has the best free breakfast in the business. hit cinnamon rolls and delicious biscuits and gravy!

The rooms were very clean and everything was nice and new. The only down fall was the lady in charge of keeping breakfast restocked couldn’t keep up with demand. She moved very slow and it seemed there was always one or two things empty. I went down three different times to get pancakes and the machine was empty. Eggs and sausage emptied out. The food quality was good just to slow at stocking it. Also most hotels if they say breakfast is until 10 that’s when they clean up. She literally started putting things away and stopped restocking twenty-thirty minutes early.

My stay at this hotel was truly great! The check in was super quick and easy with no holding fees, parking fees, etc. like other hotels. My room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the pool. The location is perfect as there are many options for restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was also delicious with many options to choose from! I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this place!

Holiday Inn Express and Suites never disappoints! They literally saved our trip! After having a very disappointing experience at another hotel chain, my fiancé and I immediately booked with Holiday Inn Express and everything was wonderful! Lindsey at the front desk was fantastic! She was so warm and friendly, we had a great conversation with her at check-in, and she gave us great suggestions of things to do. Our room was great, very clean, and the bed was so comfortable! The complimentary breakfast had great options. Big lesson learned for us: Go with what you know! Thank you Holiday Inn Express for a wonderful stay and for always delivering great customer service.

Michael made a difference! We arrived after 11pm on Wednesday, March 15th and greeted by Michael. We were all tired after long drive. Michael was an absolute pleasure during the check-in. He informed us about breakfast and gave us the weekday as well as weekend hours noticing that our stay is extending through Sunday. The hotel is extremely clean and everyone was super nice and hospitable. Most of the time when you stay at a limited-service hotel you have to take care of yourself knowing you are not at an Intercontinental but this Holiday Inn Express is staffed extremely well. The entire area is new with plenty of shopping, restaurants, groceries and gas stations. Stop looking and book this place if you need to stay in the area.

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff is very courteous and they r doing a fantastic job at running the place !! COMMON AMENITIES include a nice pool, gym, washer dryer for guests, nice lobby with business centre, luggage storage space and a 24hr market place !! THE ROOM is as spacious as it can be with decent interior and great lighting... HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE A MICROWAVE IN ROOM ALONG WITH BODY LOTION AND CREAM SOAP OPTIONS !! THE COFFEE MAKER IS ALSO NICE THOUGH I WOULD SUGGEST A HOT WATER KETTLE. THEY EVEN HAVE SHAVING STUFF IF NEEDED !!!! THAT IS FANTASTIC !!! The breakfast spread is a decent one checking all the boxes ! One morning i was leaving without having breakfast and the courteous staff asked me if he could give me something for the road which was a very nice gesture ! Room cleaning and bed cleaning is done daily which is great too.. they have a meeting room option too.. ALL IN ALL A GREAT BUSINESS COME TOURIST HOTEL WITH LOTS OF SHOPPING OPTIONS AROUND ALONG WITH HIGHWAY CONNECTIVITY !!

This place is so clean and nice and the three girls that helped me are all Angels. I want to personally thank Lindsay, Jackie, and Evelyn, that all work at the front desk for their exceptional customer service and for their compassion towards me and my situation. They allowed me to check in and get a room before three so my son and I we’re not stranded for an hour outside and that is just one of the many kind things that they did to accommodate me. 10/10 would highly recommend this place it is by far one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at!!!!

Friendly people and you can walk over to the Adventhealth hockey arena next door, if you’re in town for a hockey event. They are a little short staffed, so late checkout is difficult to accommodate. Nevertheless, the front desk ladies are trying to be helpful. Breakfast is decent and there’s ample parking. A nearby mall has a lot of food options. Looking forward to staying again.

Room was nice & cozy, but shower & sink took 5 min to get warm & never stayed hot. I only stayed one night so didn't use the do not disturb sign, but room service came banging on my door like the police @ 0945. Then a different one came at 1015. Then another diff one came at 1056. Check out isn't until 1100 & they weren't supposed to come until then. But clearly, no one was communicating with each other because more kept coming disturbing my sleep & making me feel like I needed to leave sooner than I was supposed to.

This hotel is nice, I love the women at the front desk, but it’s a black guy with dreads that gives me the creeps, he’s always starring at my kids and myself, even walked into my room without knocking. He’s never doing any work just looking and its really disturbing

Stayed at this place numerous times for at least the past 15 years and I can honestly say it still is very clean, has comfortable beds and the staff is very friendly.

The receptionist was really nice when we checked. The room was clean,. The ac in our room was noisy. On top of that some people were standing next to a truck in the entrance of the hotel, they were talking loudly for hours into the night and some kids ran loudly down the hallway, so we didn't get a lot of sleep.

I have stayed here before…. That’s why I returned. Good staff, friendly, hard working keeping the whole place clean. Good breakfast (she does a good job in presentation) room was clean. It didn’t smell like they were trying to cover something up…. It was clean and maintained. ( my personal things didn’t smell like a nasty AC unit the next at home like other places) I will stay here every time it’s needed. 4.9 stars (Even being next to interstate 75 …it was still very quite)

I have been staying here several times over the last 12 weeks and it is my favorite. It is always clean and comfortable, and Jackie at the front desk goes above and beyond in customer service. Highly recommend this location!!

I have stayed in this hotel three times already, and the last two times I did my check- in with Myrtle and from the moment we entered the hotel she had a HORRIBLE attitude making our family feel very unconfortable. We normally travel with our service dog, and the hotel policy specify that only service animals are allowed. However, as soon as we entered the hotel Myrtle gave our dog a dirty look, which for us is completely unacceptable. Our dog is not just my daughter's companion, but also part of our family. Its safe to say this will be the last time we stay at this hotel. We don't need to deal with rude people when there so many hotels where our family will feel welcomed.
