Our labor and delivery nurses were amazing. They explained every step of the way and made us feel comfortable and aware of everything that would come. Our midwife Mariah Jackson was amazing and she really has a way to make the process easy and so encouraging. As a first time mom, I was scared of the experience ahead and somehow staff made me feel heard and showed care and compassion. All of the nurses and techs were amazing. I thank them for making us feel welcome, comforted and taken well taken care of

This will be a two part review. First the bad, then the good. My visit was on 3/8/2022 around 6pm. The front desk nurse in question got off around 7pm. BAD: During my wait a young lady took my vitals and asked me questions regarding my concerns. During that time I explained I was pregnant, and I was experiencing stomach pain, vomiting, and pain In my pelvic area. She took my vitals and sent me back to the waiting area, where she then Began to disrespectfully speak about why I was there to her co-worker. She spoke so loud that Myself and my husband could hear her from where I was sitting in the lobby. She went on for about 10-15 minutes about how I shouldn’t be at the hospital (my OBGYN sent me) because 80% of abdominal pain is just a stomach virus. I felt unheard, disrespected, embarrassed (the whole lobby could hear her). I wanted to leave.. Comes to find out that my baby no longer had a heart beat. She humiliated me on one of the worse night of my life, and it turned out I should have been in the hospital. She also failed to report I was pregnant. I know for a fact I told her specifically three times and the other two employees upfront as well. No one reported this, this causing me to almost receive a MRI. I would like to speak to someone regarding this employee, because I do feel like actions need to be taken, otherwise I may seek out help. GOOD: The nurses and doctors in the back staff were amazing! Hands down the best care I have ever received. I again found out that night that my baby no longer had a heart beat, and both from the nurse and the doctor I received care, support, and felt heard. The nurse went out of the way to hug me as I was emotional, and spoke with me about her own personal experience which made me feel like I wasn’t alone. Even the ultrasound tech was very friendly. I have no issue with the treatment given to me by the back staff. My issue is only with the women who took my vitals. Overall I will not return due to my experience with the front.

Thank you to the entire OB staff at HCA Trinity. They are super friendly and you can tell that they truly love their job. Everybody did a great job during my stay after delivering my baby boy but I would like to say a special thank you to Cassidy my nurse after delivery. Room was spacious and clean. No complaints.

I would have been safer at home then I was in Trinity HCA hospital!!! I have been a registered nurse for 30 yrs and I was shocked at the poor quality of care I received at this hospital. I was seen by several residents that put in doctor orders that were necessary only to have the provider over them cancel out the needed test and consuls. I had a fractured humerus and was never seen by an Orthopedic specialist because a consult was never placed. The nurses were understaffed and overwhelmed. I was admitted in Trinity hospital because I had a syncope episode and fell at home. I was placed on fall precautions with a bed alarm and instructed to call for a nurse and not to get out of bed alone. I literally had to wait over an hour for a nurse to come to turn off the bed alarm. I was in severe pain from humerus fracture resulting from fall and had to wait 2 hrs for pain medication. I don’t blame the nurses because they were definitely under staffed. Thank God I was only there for 24 hrs, it was horrifying and to top it off I have a bill from them for almost $5,000 for out of pocket cost. I will NEVER go to this hospital again!!!

One star is more than it deserves. I used to love Trinity but not after this week's experience. Wife went into ER. She lost 30 pounds in two months, unable to hold down food, excruciating stomach pain and severe constipation. Her tests showed nothing and she was released over my protest. They said it was GI related and could not do it in the ER. Two days later her condition was far worse so they repeated the tests done previously said no GI specialist was available and I had to take her home. I called the administrative office three times and the calls went straight to voice mail. Instead of going home I took her to Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson where she was admitted and being treated.

The care I received by the nurses & staff was excellent! They were extremely responsive of everytime I needed them. Everyone was very helpful & kind. They periodically checked on me to see if I needed anything! The food was actually very good! Having a private room was great & it was cleaned daily by very friendly staff! My surgeon was excellent & I highly recommend him and all who worked on me during & after surgery! The entire hospital stay well exceeded my expectations & I really appreciate it!

I had a scheduled c-section on 2/22/22 and was pretty apprehensive. Dr Robert Smith delivered our baby despite having plans that day and I can’t thank him enough. The nurses I had are incredible. I’m tearing up remembering how much they cared. Holly and Carol treated me like a family member. I never once felt embarrassed or uncomfortable under either of their care. Carol went above and beyond for both me and my husband. Ally was wonderful too. All 3 of these nurses deserve special attention from the hospital. The woman who administered the anesthesia was awesome too. I was so nervous about the epidural after having a bad experience with my last pregnancy. I’ve never felt so cared about from Any nurse at any hospital I’ve ever been to. Thank you So much Trinity Hospital and your staff for making this experience a more pleasant one Edit: I wanted to add that I was really impressed by how clean this hospital is too. I wore white fluffy socks, walked around the room quite a bit and they were still snow white.

This was the best hospital stay I ever had and I had quite a few. From point of entry to my exit the staff was genuinely caring and humble. The unit is extremely clean and smells on antiseptic. Temperature is set at the right setting and will be adjusted to your personal needs. Food arrives hot, fresh, with an inviting look and a yummy taste...even when on restricted menu's. I would recommend anyone who has to have a procedure to go to Trinity.

I unfortunately had to hysterectomy today. Every single person I interacted with from the golf cart driver, the receptionists, all of my nurses and MDs were phenomenal. Had surgery with the DaVinci machine and came home feeling great so far! I work in Healthcare and this was by far the best hospital experience. My only suggestion would have been for the nursing staff to let me know my MD got pulled away from starting my surgery to deliver a baby. Totally understand the rush and important aspect of being called away, but communicating the delay once realized would have helped set some expectations that I'd be delayed getting taken for surgery (as this happened literally right before I was expected to go back and added about an hour is not more to the wait.l). However in the grand scheme that's merely a suggestion for improvement because everything else was top notch! No regrets.

My experience at Trinity Medical Center was awesome! I had awesome surgeons, nurses, OT, PT, and others! Dr. Wright and others who helped were professional and straight to the point expressing concern that I was comfortable. I was treated with respect, and questions answered in a timely manner from the staff. The hospital was clean because of awesome services from the staff. The food was awesome, too! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Today I had to go to HCA FL Trinity emergency room for a skin rash that was spreading rapidly. Normally, I wouldn't be as nervous about it if I wasn't 27 weeks pregnant. The first person to greet us was Christine Myers, NP, and I can't express enough how amazing this woman treated me. Normally I dread going to the hospital because you feel like you are just a number in the system, but this wasn't my experience today at all. Christine was genuine, kind, and eager to help me in any way she could. It was so refreshing that both my husband and I walked out saying "Wow! What a great experience!" We were so thankful for Christine and thought how much better the world would be if there were more people like her. I hope HCA FL Trinity Hospital knows what an amazing employee they have and treats her well. She is the example every medical professional should follow and look up to. I highly recommend going to the HCA FL Trinity Emergency area because of her and the experience she gave us.

My daughter broke her arm in May. When we arrived to the empty ER we were shown to the back quickly. After some morphine and a couple of x-rays, we were informed they could not treat her due to her size and told we would be transferred via ambulance to All Children's. We said we would drive her due to cost. The doctor said we didn't need to worry about that. He said because the hospital was unable to treat her, they would cover cost of the ambulance. So we agreed. Many bills later from the different facilities, we were in fact charged for the ambulance. Trinity also charged us at a level 5 ER. Johns Hopkins, who actually fixed her broken arms and did significantly more procedures, charged us at a level 3. I asked for a detailed description of which serviced Trinity provided that merited a level 5 charge. This was not provided and now several emails later I have been ghosted. I will never go here again based on the dishonesty and lack of transparency.

This was my first hospital experience and I couldn’t be any happier than how it went. From the ER nurses to the labor and delivery nurses, everyone was so nice and super helpful. A special shout out to Rosanne, she was my main nurse for delivery and I honestly don’t think I could have done it without her. She was so knowledgeable and helped me through a natural birth. The post partum nurses and lactation consultants were very nice and helpful as well! The food was pretty good too for it being an hospital! After the great experience I had, I would never want to give birth elsewhere.

The staff and doctors are all professional & knowledgeable and extremely caring. I felt comfortable & at ease and very informed on my condition. This is in my opinion the hospital and care center I would advise everyone I know to go when they are anxious or fearful for their health care.

I recently delivered a baby at Trinity and I had the best experience. This was my third delivery at Trinity and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. Angela, my day shift nurse, and Alyssa my night shift nurse were exceptional. Alyssa went above and beyond for me, she was so supportive and I really felt cared for beyond my expectation. They are so amazing!

Went to the hospital cause I went into labor boyfriend had to go drop our oldest off at school he came back they were disrespectful and made him feel discriminated against cause of his scars on his head from a motorcycle accident they wouldn't let him in the room multiple times tried to talk to boss got called a liar. Boyfriend was wrongfully kicked out of there and they tried to hold my newborn son and me against our will saying we couldn't leave when there is 2 nurses there that said that the boss and the security officer was in the wrong and that I could have left with my newborn whenever I wanted to. Be careful everyone that has any scars or has other problems cause they will not treat you with respect. Some of there nurses are great and some are not

It's hard to describe in words but I felt treated well and the nurses were very polite, understanding and helpful every step of the way. I thought it was very sweet that the kitchen staff sent me a gift and the nurses sent me off with dinner the day I left the hospital. The only thing I have negative to say is that from the start everyone thought I was giving birth to a boy from the moment I got into triage and the birth certificate lady thought this as well and even though we told them she was a girl and she acknowledged the mistake but I still ended up with a birth certificate for my daughter that said she was a male. So I had a long process trying to fix that and had to pay more fees and shipping and a notary fee even though it should've never happened in the first place. I'm not sure why every new staff member whom entered my room assumed she was male which was quite annoying but other than that I had a good experience.

My husband was just discharged after a 3 day stay on the 5th floor. Everything was amazing, everyone was friendly and went above and beyond. I just wanted to give a special shout out to Nurse Ana and say she is absolutely amazing. She made our visit as enjoyable as it could be. We've been in and out of hospitals over the years and she is one of the best nurses we have ever had.

It's never fun to go to the hospital, but much more tolerable when the experience is good. From check-in to check-out, very organized, very pleasant and very efficient. All of these are wonderful traits, but the best feature was the human element. EVERY single person was just so incredibly kind, patient and understanding. Unfortunately I am not good at remembering names but several people that I had interactions with were so kind and compassionate. They'll never know how much that meant to me. Just a simple gesture of holding my hand or rubbing my shoulder made it so much easier. To all of the staff that helped the patient from room 14 on June 14th you are true angels!!

The level of care was as good as any that I've had and better than most. It's obvious that it's a FOR-PROFIT business given the scanner for every item regardless of how small. I would suggest that the hospital implement a "Quiet Time" from 10pm to 8am. Sounded like a staff party at all hours of the night as the conversations were not medically related.

Amazing experience from all staff members. Made a bad diagnosis better with compassionate and dignified care. Would recommend to anyone looking for top notch medical care. Great communication, compassionate, and respect for their patients, could not recommend highly enough

I experienced a very professional therapy program. The facility was very clean and comfortable. The therapist, Luciana, was very competent, making sure that I was informed and comfortable. I am progressing rapidly due to the care that I was given. I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs pelvic floor therapy.

The doctors and nurses I’ve seen at this hospital are great. This review is about Linda. She manages the registrar department. She called me for a job and then canceled my interview twice on the day of the third interview, My son had to be taken to the emergency room he’s 18 months old with a 103.8 fever at 4 o’clock in the morning. We weren’t discharged until the fever came down enough where the doctors Were OK with sending him home. Turns out he had an ear infection and we didn’t leave the hospital until after 7 o’clock in the morning. The interview was for nine there was no way I was going to make it home get him to sleep and then get back for the interview so I called her office and left her office a voicemail at 4:30 in the morning so that she could hear it first thing in the morning and know to give me a call when she could so we could reschedule She never gave me a call never answered my email and then sent me a generic email a week later saying I was disqualified from the position. I worked for a cancer hospital in Manhattan for eight years in a higher position, Then she has I was taking a step down interviewing for this lisition Because there are no hospitals around where I live in Florida that have an opening for the position I had in New York and I would’ve never nor would’ve any of my staff in New York treated someone with a sick child like that.. especially a potential employee .. that leads me to believe she thinks I was making it up. I know she could check the registrars Emergency room log and see that I was there from 4am - 7am.. so good hospital good doctors, good nurses …terrible management Linda is a real piece of work of a person who clearly does not like children

Most of the nurses were great! There was one that had no personality which came across as indifferent. Even after calling the kitchen with a specific request , they still got it wrong and the guy who delivers argued that they give the patient based on doctors orders. They why did they accept my request? Other than that, the people were great and very helpful.

The pre-Op visit was quick and ample and came with good instructions so I knew what to expect when I arrived for my surgery. The surgery visit wen smoothly and every staff member I interacted with was professional, competent, and had excellent communication skills to keep me informed throughout the process. I felt the staff gave me good information throughout the procedure and made me feel comfortable that I was receiving truly quality care.

The doctors are good, the staff is not. Walked into the ER and the staff for a visitors badge was not there, and when I went to ask triage, they said, "I am sorry, I work in triage, I can't help." but with the, that's not my job-type attitude. If you want nursing staff that talks about patients behind their back, ignores calls for assistance to the restroom and who can't even pull up your insurance info correctly, then enjoy your stay. All of these things happened and we will definitely just drive further to another hospital.

I was admitted this week due to bradycardia/fainting. The attending, residents and cardio team were attentive, and quick to respond to my needs and concerns. However I was especially taken aback by the nurses on my floor. They were so compassionate, knowledgeable and responsive. Anytime I needed something they were immediately there and incredibly kind. Thank you so much to nurse Jade, Lynda, Louis, Elizabeth and Allie. You’re a wonderful group of human beings and I couldn’t be more grateful.

The surgical team and pre-op nurses were very thorough and kind. All of my nurses that assisted while I recovered in the hospital had such great bedside manner and were very helpful and attentive. The physical therapy team was so kind and supportive and really took their time to help me walk and go over proper exercises for my recovery. The hospital was clean and very quiet while remaining friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much to Trinity Hospital for making what was a very daunting surgery and recovery go so smoothly and for soothing my nerves. Everyone was wonderful.

I gave birth here in October. I felt respected and cared for throughout the whole process, even when I unexpectedly needed a c-section. Everybody from the nurses, to the surgical assistant, to the anesthesiologist was wonderful at communicating and ensuring that I was comfortable and felt in control of my health care. I could tell that the nurses really love their jobs; they kept dressing my baby up in cute little hats! It was so sweet. I also appreciate the fact that this is not a religious hospital despite the name. It's a welcoming place for everybody. Overall, I have nothing but fond memories of my stay.
