Very much enjoyed our round here. Unusually for a Sunday in mid winter it was relatively easy to get a tee time. Forgiving for a high handicapper, a nice mix of longer holes with wide fairways and some fun par 3s. Generally in very good condition for the time of year. No temporary tees or greens. The clubhouse looked modern with good facilities, although limited practice facilities (one net, putting green). Cost wise £45 was about right I'd say. Got round in 4h10. Will return - I think in Summer this would be a really fantastic course.

Huge thanks to the entire team for contributing to a wonderful and intimate celebration of my 50th birthday. Lucy and Kerry patiently responded to lots of questions during the planning stage. On the day, Jason was a welcoming and reassuring presence from the moment we arrived. Kirsty and team were super efficient and generally pre-empted guests’ needs. I would also like to pass on compliments to the chef on the meal (the jollof rice got quite a bit of positive mention). I enjoyed everything I ate including the desserts selection curated by the chef. I have beautiful memories despite a very rainy Saturday 😊

An absolutely exceptional wedding venue! Me and my husband got married here this Good Friday, and we cannot thank the Darenth enough for giving us a truly memorable and fantastic day. Lucy our wedding co-ordinator was so polite, professional and friendly in helping us get everything set for big day, and the owner Jason was there on our wedding day with his excellent team to help and wait on us hand on foot! Great to be able to play when many courses are closed and buggies all year round is brilliant. Unfortunately on the day I was there playing a two ball the members 3 ball in front lost several holes to the group in front and took 51/2 hours seeming to take the view that they could take as long as they wanted and even ignored us when searching for lost balls whilst we waited on the tee. This meant kitchen closed when we eventually reached the clubhouse. Greens were true and even paced, course held up well after all the rain we’ve had.

Wow what a place. I photographed the most amazing wedding here yesterday and felt compelled to leave a review! This is a stunning venue for a wedding, with so many options for your ceremony outdoors or inside. The place is gorgeous, beautiful decorated, spotlessly clean with fabulous food. The team at this venue are second to none, all so very helpful and really do make you feel like part of their team when working there. I was very well looked after and guided through the day seamlessly by the wonderful Jason. Jason is exactly the person to oversee your special day making sure it runs perfectly with no detail left aside, I really found your help and assistance yesterday priceless Jason, so thank you so very much. A special mention also to lovely Millie who is another credit to your venue, as are all the team but I don’t know anyone else’s names.

Wonderful staff that made our day extra special. They pay attention to detail and are very on board for the whole day and night. Extra touches like caring for and bringing out the gifts for key guests and making sure the bride and groom were well attended made for a perfect experience. They certainly went over and above for us and are well versed in making sure weddings run smoothly. We returned a few weeks later for lunch just to be in that lovely space around kind and attentive staff.

What an amazing day we experienced at The Darenth. From the beginning, we wanted to have our special day at there. Our day was made extra special because of efforts made by Jason and Kirsty throughout the day and Kerry during the planning stages. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. From the day we walked into the darenth to view this venue we have always felt so welcomed and wanted. They couldn’t do anymore to help us as they went above and beyond. The venue is absolutely stunning from the outside to the inside 💕 myself and my husband would like the thank each and everyone of the staff here at the darenth no words can explain how much you made our dream become a reality 💕 we shall be booking to come back for our yearly anniversary. Highly recommend this venue*5

Disappointed. I think it’s disrespectful to charge full price for a round of golf when there has been minimal effort to prepare the course for the day. I played mid morning on a Sunday. The bunkers looked like they hadn’t been raked since last summer, the greens were covered in dried mud which made putting impossible and the tee positions clearly hadn’t been changed for a while as there was barely any grass left and they were very uneven. Appreciate the weather was bad over December, but I’d still expect a bit of pride. Won’t be going back for a while.

We just celebrated our Twilight Wedding on the 23rd February 2023 at the Darenth. Absolutely wonderful venue and the amazing staff are 5 star from start to finish. Would like to say a massive thank you to the all the staff and especially our maitre d’ Jason, he was the absolute best. Also thank you to Kerry, Lucy, Leigh and all the amazing staff for helping us organise, they really go above and beyond.
