Rather bland.. not a busy afternoon. Two chaps in charge. I ordered a medium rate burger with no cheese. What I got was a very well done burger with cheese. Lots of trimmings and coleslaw was nice. Got an apology from chap we ordered from. No excuse really only 2 other tables there and they were on dessert stage. Pretty enough pleasant surroundings and garden was well covered in heat/sun. Satisfactory I guess but could have been better.

Excellent lunch, food very good.The owners are extremely friendly and have gone to great lengths (and probably a lot of expense) to ensure they can accommodate customers within the current covid situation. Lovely garden, nice ambience.

Nice cozy old pub in the countryside. The staff was lovely and the Sunday Roast was delicious! Highly recommend the cheesecake!

A lovely pub with outstanding food. There was 13 of us but nothing was too much for the excellent staff. The portion sizes are big and the quality is amazing. We travelled from Margate but will definitely visit again! Thank you Tony and all your staff

Went for lunch in late Nov. Great menu, excellent food, roaring open fire and excellent service. The experience was made even better by seeing the selection of 80s aftershaves on offer in the gents, proper retro. Well worth a visit.

Went for our first out of lockdown meal with friends . We were seated outside under cover and felt really safe and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was great ! Even brought a bowl of water out for our dog betsie 😁 very recommended

Mid Thursday afternoon visit and more than a few customers in. Very friendly greeting on arrival. Six real ales available with a good selection of local and further afield. One went off while we were there and changed fairly quickly. Those I had were in good condition.

Great service. Ash and Sharon made sure they catered for my allergies and their customer service was impeccable. Highly recommend

Had a very warm welcome. Food was great and reasonably priced. Service was exceptional. The beer drinkers in our group were highly satisfied. A lovely visit.

four of us had lunch this afternoon. The food was excellent. The staff who served us were very attentive. Even the dog who was with us was attended too given a bowl of water and a dog biscuit. We give the pub 10/10

It's been 14 years since I've set foot in the Rose n'... on my return (soon) I'll definitely visit again. My family's local and a lovely pub it is. Great staff, food, selection of pints and ambiance. Cheers!
