One of the most impressive rooms in the palace! If you want to see some amazing craftsmanship, look up. The ceiling is incredibly detailed. It’s no surprise this was once the throne room of King Don Pedro I, when he would meet with important people, particularly international heads of state and ambassadors. The hall is an embodiment of Mudejar style, a form of architecture created in Spain that was heavily influenced by Moorish culture. While the interior and exterior have visible Moorish influence, it was in fact that Christians that built this hall, but they added Renaissance and European features to this palace.

A very impressive space. Lots of intricate scrollwork and geometric details executed in stucco and wood. The room feels both light and delicate, almost fragile due to the subtlety of detail that looks almost like lace. On the negative side the room is not huge and it is literally besieged by tourists so there is very little chance that you can experience its beauty alone.

Superb, amazing, wonderful, superlatives are deserved here and only in Alhambra you'll find a place that can overcome this one . One of the highlight's of the Alcazar and I believe, the reason we all come to visit this Alcazar which is probably the most beautiful of all in Spain
