Wow! Antonio is so knowledgable about food and wine! We took the food and wine class and you can tell he has so much passion and loved to share it with others! During the tour, you quickly made many new friends, and the views overlooking the river are the perfect backdrop! Such an amazing class!

Sangria Wine Tasting with Antonio at La Terraza del Cristina. My husband and I had a fabulous time yesterday as we joined a group of other like-minded individuals keen to know more about sangria on this sangria tasting workshop. Espe was our brilliant, informative, and funny host, and the setting on a rooftop over looking the river & old town was perfect too. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon 😃

I love to book local food tours, because you can avoid all the touristic traps. This tour was perfect! We’ve tried so many delicious local meals in specialities! Moreover, we got to know better, the history of Sevilla. Plus you will get tips where to go next. I would definitely recommend this to to anyone who visits the city! A great fun evening. Great location and lovely company. Espy was very knowledgable about all the aspects of sangria - who knew there was so much to it?! Would definitely recommend.

Antonio gave us a detailed and entertaining explanation of how to make the perfect and authentic paella. Julia kept us provided with drinks of our choice and of course, the great finale was to dine on the balcony overlooking the city eating Antonio’s delicious paella! (Now to go home and practice!)

Our sangria tasting was an excellent way to learn more about the area's traditions, from wines and recipes to the drink's history and the preferences of the locals when enjoying it. Along the way we heard about major cultural moments and events for Sevilla and tasted four unique sangria recipes crafted with care. Our host, Ana, was uniquely knowledgeable, while being fun and engaging. We would try any of their tours in a heartbeat!

I attended the Ugly Delicious Food Tour with my friend and I was absolutely blown away by the amount of knowledge our guide Carolina had about the history of wine, geography and history of Andalusia. The food throughout the tour was very delicious and I would have not thought to order these tapas if not for Local Food Experiences. If you have an open mind and empty stomach I would highly suggest trying this tour. Will be recommending my family and friends to do this tour.

If you're visiting Sevilla (or even a local) who wants to learn about the history and culture of Spain while also trying new foods, I would highly recommend the Ugly Delicious Food Tour. I went on this tour with some friends and we got to try foods that we've never tried before. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the food and culture of Spain and the walk through Triana was beautiful! All for such a reasonable price! This tour allowed me to get out of my comfort zone in the best way possible and definitely made for an unforgettable experience! I could not recommend this tour enough, it's a must-try in Sevilla!

A must do in Sevilla! Antonio was so knowledgeable about wine and the history of sangria and Sevilla. We originally thought he would bring out different sangrias and leave us to our own devices but it was truly an interactive and learning experience. The location was beautiful as well, despite the cloudy day. Sangria was amazing as well, although the glasses are BIG. Antonio also tells you how each is made and offers to send the recipes. We enjoyed every minute of it!

Our guide Carolina was very knowledgeable and charming. We got to eat some ugly (not really 😂) delicious Seville specialties. I posted a pic online, and a friend from Seville commented, “how did you know about this place? Only locals go there because it’s quite hidden.” I would very much recommend the tour. You’ll learn so much about the history of the city and origins of its typical foods. But be prepared for some adventurous meals! In a good way ❤️

We went to the Paella cooking class at La Terraza del Cristina in Seville and we were thrilled we signed up for this experience. The class was fun, participation welcome and the Paella and Sangria were wonderful. We were not rushed out afterwards so had a lovely evening eating the Paella and drinking Sangria with other folks at our table. They even shared the recipe and we plan to try it with company at home.

Deeply enjoyed the seafood paella Showcooking experience! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. Our guide shared so many tips and tricks that I feel confident we will be able to create an authentic paella at home ☺️

Such a great experience to watch and learn how to make paella. I felt like I learned a lot from the cook, the ingredients, technique, etc…. We were able to ask all our questions while snacking on meats, cheeses, and drinks. I was the only one in the group that didn't drink alcohol and so he made me a non-alcoholic sangria. So thoughtful

We really enjoyed the sangria experience. Carolina was polite, very pleasant and knowledgeable. She gave us a lot of interesting information in an engaging way and there was lots of Sangria on offer (four different ones). We also had the pleasure of meeting a couple of from UK and from Texas. They were great and the group got on well and it was a really pleasant experience. Beautiful views over the river and golden tower. Thank you to all!

We had a great night at the Sangria tasting. The view over the river was lovely, the atmosphere welcoming and friendly. Antonio was a brilliantly host, knowledgeable, professional and funny. A lovely way to meet other travellers whilst learning about the local culture. The evening surpassed our expectations and the Sangria was perfect. Highly Recommend.

We had such an amazing time whilst at the sangria tasting. Antonio was so knowledgable about how to make sangria and the history, it was nice to learn about the history of sangria rather than just drinking it in a bar. There was four really generous glasses each, the value for money was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone!! If I return to Seville, I’ll be back. Can’t wait to try the recipes at home. Thank you!!

The ugly delicious food tour was amazing! It was a great way to walk around and explore part of Seville while also enjoying traditional foods and learning about the history of the city. I tried a bunch of things that I otherwise would have never thought to order, which was so fun and adventurous. Our host Antonio knew so much, and made the experience an unforgettable part of our trip.

The "Ugly Delicious" food tour was one of the highlights of our trip in Sevilla. Antonio knows his stuff. He is passionate about the food, history and culture of this area. We really enjoyed the stories and how gastronomy, history and culture are intertwined. The dishes were very special and tasty. Some of them "interesting" as well, and not something you would order on a typical tapas place. I felt very comfortable during the whole tour, Antonio made us feel like locals for a short while. Recommended!

Did the Ugly and Delicious Tour. One of the best tours I’ve been on, not for the sites seen but for how much I took away from it. Antonio is a great host with so much knowledge of Spanish history and cuisine. Food is an essential part of every culture and it was fascinating to learn about its history and influence in Spain from an expert like Antonio. I wish every city had a tour like this. highly recommend

Fantastic experience, not only learning how to cook paella properly but also about the history of paella. A lot of opportunity to ask questions, and we felt very at ease. A good experience also for our 2 children aged 12 and 17. We are now far more knowledgable about how to cook traditional paella and were surprised to see that the end result was very different to how we had eaten paella when previously visiting Spain. Without a doubt a great experience, views from the roof terrace were amazing and by far the best part was enjoying the paella with a cold sangria. Highly recommend.

We were a party of 5 people that thoroughly enjoyed this experience as well as Antonio’s friendly personality! The paella was delicious and he explained each step of the process in making. We loved sipping on wine, eating cheeses and meats as we watched and engaged in the process! He shared both the sangria recipes as well as the seafood paella recipe upon request. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone passionate about cooking!!
