My stay was just fantastic. From a warm welcome at arrival until I left the hotel, the staff was helpful, friendly. The room has everything you need for a stay: coffee maker, nice beauty products, fridge and plugs next to the bed. For breakfast, they cater for my lactose intolerance with lots of alternatives. The hotel is very well located and I could not recommend enough this place.

Great service, and good value for money. All staff members are warm and welcoming, the breakfast spread is truly impressive. Location is also perfect!

Stayed in Mar 2023. Staff were extremely friendly. Location was pretty good as it was walking distance to all the main sights. The room was clean and the beds were very comfy. They had a very nice self serve coffee machine in the bar area that was free for guests which was nice. Only problem was no AC, I assume they don’t turn it on until it gets warmer. With the window open it was fine but the window did not have screens. Luckily no bugs were coming in. In Canada, if you open windows with no screen, your house will be full of mosquitoes.

The room was clean , although the water wasn’t draining well from the bathtub, great towels, breakfast was good..when we checked in for our anniversary and asked for quiet room but instead got a room with a full construction going on on the same floor with heavy drilling , noise and the dust in the hallway. All starting at 8 am until after 5 pm . No chance to rest or sleep even on the roof top . The manager looked surprised when we told him about the noise . Would not recommend this place for a future. There is a 5 stars hotel in walking distance with a little difference in price for a gorgeous rooms and experience. This on is not a 4 star hotel.

Wonderful hotel located in a close proximity to all the main attractions of Seville. The rooms are modern and very well equipped. The hotel offers a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool and a beautiful view. Breakfast are really tasty with a wide selection of good quality food. The best thing about the hotel are the employees who are genuinely friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed for a few days in Seville, this hotel was amazing, highly recommend. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do and the staff was amazing. The top manager introduced herself to us at breakfast, the breakfast buffet had so much variety and the coffee was top top. The room had the perfect amount of space for our 5 bags of things, it was incredibly comfortable. Maybe it won't be your birthday when you are traveling, but the breakfast ladies brought my boyfriend a cake and sang happy birthday, then when we checked out they gave him a tiny gift of a postcard and magnet that say Sevilla. So thoughtful!

Clean and comfortable rooms. Central location in Seville within walking distance of many important attractions. Most excellent service. Very helpful and friendly staff. Honest housekeeping team who returned my laptop during checkout. Would give more stars if I could. Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel who really go the extra mile to help! A great location minutes from the airport bus and 5-10 mins pleasant walk from all of the sights. Loved our top floor refurbished room with really excellent sound insulation a fantastic shower and super comfy beds. Also loved the stunning roof terrace and pool area with viewd of the cathedral and the amazing breakfast every day, the freshly squeezed orange juice was incredible! They also have a great lounge area open all day with free coffee, juice, ice water, nuts, croissant, sandwiches etc really lovely. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic location! Right by Triana, one of our favorite neighborhoods in Seville, and by the Plaza de Armas (for some reason, this doesn't show up on Google maps when you route to the hotel with public transit). Historic center and Plaza de Espana are also within walking distance (<25 min). Great views from roof but pool was already closed for the season. Very friendly customer service and excellent breakfast buffet. Only complaint is that their restaurant recommendations are pretty bad. You're better off googling food options yourself. Otherwise, great stay and would definitely stay again!

What a find! An excellent location with awesome staff whose ethos was to please at every opportunity. Great, quiet room with the most comfortable beds, and I've never seen such an amazing selection of quality choices for breakfast. Bravo, Becquer!

Great location. And great breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. But...they have serious issues with the heating system. It is either winter mode or summer mode. Our room was so warm I could barely sleep at night. They offered a small fan that didn't really help much. In a 4 star hotel one would expect to be able to adjust the room temperature. We also experienced lots of issues with the two elevators they have. Most of the times we ended up using the stairs (from the 5th floor) as none of them were working properly. Furniture is also a bit outdated.

Exceptional hotel! Everything worked out wonderfully. The staff were top notch. Very friendly, professional and helpful. The parking below the hotel was very convenient and expertly arranged. The comfortable lobby has a wide range of (free!) snacks and drinks. We were a bit early, so they checked our bags and we were off to our tour of the cathedral and Royal Palace, only a short walk away. The hotel’s location is perfect for sightseeing. On returning, the staff had our room ready and already brought up our luggage. Fantastic service, again. The room was very modern and clean. The bathroom looked recently renovated. And a small bottle of sherry, and a plate of cheeses, nuts and grapes awaited us. Perfect! The front desk staff recommended a tapas bar for dinner. It is a short, lovely walk away, across the river, in the Triana neighborhood. The walk itself was a pleasure. People of all types out for a walk on a warm, beautiful evening. The tapas place was our favorite restaurant of the trip. Friendly, local, fairly small and totally delicious. Lots of families and children just enjoying good food and each others company. I won’t give the name of the restaurant here. You’ll have to stay the hotel and ask them! Back to the hotel for a contented sleep. The next morning brought another wonderful surprise. The breakfast buffet is everything a traveler could want, fresh fruit of the highest quality, juices of many kinds, pastries, jamón, cheeses, eggs made to order, cereals, yogurts . All top quality. For me the best was the selection of loose teas, with a proper strainer cup for brewing it. I’ve never seen that in any other hotel in the world. I’d come back just for that! In short, the people running this hotel have created the best imaginable place for a visitor to the marvelous city of Sevilla.

We stayed at this beautiful place during our vacation in Jul. What an outstanding staff at this location. Very pleasant and always patiently ready to answer your questions. We had great experience overall. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Special Thanks to Chef Jose for a breakfast mixer. We ended up spending additional days at the hotel simply because of the overall experience at this hotel. Would recommend it.

Perfect location within walking distance of everything. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious and had quite a variety. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again.

Good stay. Quiet neighborhood that is still close to everything. Some reviews mentioned renovation noise but I think that may have only been in certain parts of the hotel and only during certain hours as it never impacted us. The bar in the lobby area had good service for afternoon drinks.

Lovely friendly central hotel, staff very pleasant and helpful. If you want a break from the sight seeing you can spend some time on the roof by the pool. Would go back and recommend.

This is a lovely hotel with pretty and clean rooms, and wonderful staff members who are very helpful. My room was clean and quiet, and I definitely recommend the breakfast each morning. It was delicious and convenient! The hotel is also close to many attractions, restaurants and the river.

12 JULY 2023 - 15 JULY 2023: We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights from 12 July 2023 to 15 July 2023. This hotel is centrally located with the majority of attractions within walking distance. It offered excellent service overall. Both Hotel staff and cleaning staff very pleasant, friendly and polite. Everyday we were greeted with a smile. All rooms were neatly furnished and were welcoming. All of our rooms had tea-making facility and a fridge that contained a complimentary bottle of water. The breakfast was a buffet so had ample of varieties to choose from hot and cold including fruit juices and fresh fruits. There was absolutely nothing negative we could say about this hotel - everything was fine. Highly recommended and we would certainly stay there again when we next visit Seville. A Big Thank You to Rafael for looking after us and who kindly arranged a taxi on our second day to visit the beach which was about 75 minutes away.

Breakfast was lovely. Large variety to choose from. The room had a fridge and a safe. Reception is quite welcoming and friendly. There's even a store room to leave your luggage after checking out - if you have a lot of time before flight ✈️ 😉

Sehr schönes Hotel in guter Lage.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Bécquer! When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff. They were super welcoming and their views from the rooftop is amazing! I remember walking into the room where we had seen wine and their charcuterie board! It was a very nice gesture from them and we definitely enjoyed it a lot :) Their breakfast also offered variety of options. A huge plus was their orange squeezer machine! Who doesn’t love natural orange juice?! It was walking distance to some places, but walks were definitely worth it. Also near 2 amazing gelato places which is totally worth it to check out! Their housekeeping staff even left candy for us which we enjoyed as well. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here! I enjoyed my stay a lot as well as the others I’ve traveled with! I would love to come back again :)

Great hotel, undergoing some renovation on 2 floors, as some rooms a little dated but of good size, great pool on the roof with loungers and deck chairs, also a bar. Excellent location if sight seeing,

The free breakfast at the hotel is divine. Bar/lounge area has free coffee, pastries, and mini sandwiches all day long. The room decor is somewhat dated. The blow dryer in the bathroom was very loud and overheated easily. To counter this, our bed was very comfortable, and our pillow menu helped us get a great night's sleep. We were in the heart of downtown Sevilla. Everything was just a short walk away.

Lovely hotel with exceptional service. Stayed for one night before checking into my Airbnb for a month, and will happily recommend Becquer to anyone traveling to Seville. The room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was excellent with so many tasty options both hot and cold. Overall the best part was the service, they were able to accommodate a later check out, and when I was unable to go directly to my Airbnb happily let me store my luggage and rest in the lobby until my apartment was ready. When I discovered I had left an item in my room, they quickly called and had it brought down to me. There are several really good restaurants right across the street as well as a taxi rank. Within walking distance to some of the major attractions as well. Lovely stay!

A good location, clean stylish rooms and the rooftop plunge pool is nice for a dip. The staff helped me with my requests such as hunting down a Covid antigen test, taxis to the airport, and they were laidback and discreet about me having the occasional guest over which I think is important in a hotel. My only complaint would be poor room service set-up. At 11.30pm I was unable to order a bottle of wine - despite there being plenty of bottles on site in the hotel bar. Another time I brought my own wine and reception said they couldn't find me a bottle opener since it was too late and the restaurant was locked up. I think if you're paying 800 euros for a week's stay, finding a bottle opener is a small inconvenience for reception to work out, so it was a little disappointing that they just said No outright. Likewise, rooftop bar service is a bit hit and miss. I would stay here again though.

Believe it or not we stayed at the Becquer, Seville, during an 18 day trip to Spain in 1993. We just relived that journey today via a journal we had kept of our travel. Our trip by auto took us from Madrid in a circle which included most of the iconic cities in Spain to Toledo and eventually back to Madrid. There was no internet review system back then and so we weren't able to tell the public forum how much we loved the Becquer. It was the very best hotel accommodations we enjoyed in our entire stay. We highly had recommended your hotel to friends who were visiting Seville and they loved it as well. In viewing the current photos posted on your website we can see that the Becquer has certainly been well maintained and the new additions to your host of amenities are lovely and enticing. We thank you all these years later for great memories and only wish that someday we can visit again.

Absolutely wonderful stay!! The rooms are clean, quiet, decorated well, and great proximity to most big sites in Sevilla, which is an amazing city. Very kind and hospitable staff, delicious breakfast, great price! The airline had lost her luggage and they helped us to work through that and get supplies we needed for our trip. They kept telling us not to worry about the luggage because it probably wasn’t going to show up and just to enjoy Sevilla. Best advice ever! Highly recommend!

The hotel has a lot of great features. The room was very spacious and clean, the staff very helpful and pleasant. The bathroom was also large. Breakfast was extensive: a very large selection of fruit (the melon was really good, as was the pineapple). There are items I don't eat (sliced luncheon meats, for example), but there are eggs, cheese (a limited selection, and I was not impressed with them - I like sharp cheeses, but maybe that is not a Spanish thing), cereals with a variety of milks, yogurt, and some toppings for it, and more. There was an olive oil tasting station, which is quite nice. The only vegetables, though, are sliced tomatoes (and some days a very small salad in a glass), and I would have liked lettuce, cucumbers, etc. to use the olive oil (other than tasting it on bread, which I prefer not to eat). The area was OK, though not the most beautiful in the city, but a comfortable walk to the main sites. I found the bed lumpy/not so comfortable and Ana tried to address that issue. She succeeded for our last night, so thank you Ana. Just a shame it was only for one night. Outlets for charging devices could be more convenient. There is a coffee maker and an electric kettle, but the outlet to plug in the kettle (where it was located) was too low for the length of the cord, so I had to move the kettle. This is very minor, but I mention it because it is really easy to fix. The shower had spray nozzles from the wall, which I would have loved for my achy back, but the shower door is not a complete one (as many European shower doors are partial, and I'll never understand that), so it flooded the bathroom to use it. There should be a solution for that. Also, climbing out of the tub was a challenge for this not-so-tall person. Overall, I certainly recommend the hotel and thought it was great value for the price.

This hotel is in the perfect location to walk around the city. All of the tourist attractions and restaurants are within a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms are a fine size and classically decorated. A dip in the rooftop pool was a much needed respite from the heat and the view of the city is amazing from up there. Breakfast was very good, there was a lovely selection of continental and hot items. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here of you want to be able to walk everywhere.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean hotel and great great location. Across the river from Tirana “the gypsy quarter” where most of the flamenco theatres are. Few minutes walk to the center where the Cathedral, Alcazar and shopping places are. If you get to book trips to Granada & Córdoba, they actually pick you up from the hotel.

Fabulous hotel in an ideal location within walking distance to the cathedral and the Triana district and also the nightlife and some great little tapas bars. Rooms were adequate for what we needed, although we weren’t in there long as we were too busy sightseeing. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. We were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine on arrival which was a lovely touch. There were complimentary coffees, tea and a range of juices, pastries, nuts, croissants. We only had breakfast on one the days we stayed, but there was plenty of choice.

Great location, excellent staff. Hotel certainly isn't a chain of hotels and seems to maintain some independence of style even if looking a bit dated. Buffet breakfast outstanding, service could not be faulted in any way. The rooftop pool and terrace whilst small was a nice touch. It's very central and felt safe, well looked after and I would have no hesitation returning or recommending it to anyone visiting Seville. Probably more aimed at business or more mature couples than young families.

Great central hotel, close to everything, staff amazingly nice and helpful. Breakfast was my favourite part, lots of choices and diverse food. Room clean, comfortable and spacious. The rooftop swimming pool small BUT great after a long day walking around the city.

This was my second stay here. The Becquer is a bit "old school" but that's part of its charm and why I returned. Good location, good-sized room, fantastic breakfast buffet at reasonable price. Rooftop terrace is nice. Personnel at reception were always helpful and friendly. I'd stay here again.

A great hotel, central to the main areas in Saville and walking distance. Staff were amazing, organised tours and trips as required. The buffet breakfast was first class, best we have had. Everyone very helpful. Room was amazing very spacious.

I loved the experience. Wonderful staff, parking, super breakfast (worth a 5*) with some live guitar music sometimes. Top parking service. Swimming pool is small but sufficient with a bar. Only négative point was the supporters of football clubs when I was there (Eintracht Frankfurt and Glasgow Rangers). But the atmosphère was relax. Oh, I forgot, the situation is ideal. Top hotel!

Flawless! Firstly, I do wanted to apologise if my review is quite late. We stayed at the Hotel Becquer for almost 2 weeks during April 2022Easter Break. We are a family ( 2 adults and 2 young children). I booked directly from their website, and added the romantic package. Prior arrival, I have emailed the team if I can request for a milk for my children. I am not sure if the shops are still open when our flights arrive, we arrived nearly 1am. Checking in was smooth, quick, and the reception staff is very warm and welcoming. The same gentleman also accompanied us to our room bringing my children's warm milk. It's always the thought (even at the slightest) that counts. Room:The room is comfortable, air-conditioning is working well and not noisy, the room is quiet, clean and smell nice. The floor is wooden, quite unique. Toiletries are plentiful, soaps shampoo conditioner, toothbrushes and a mini colgate toothpaste are provided. although we did not use them as we have used our own. Room is also cleaned everyday. Location: In our opinion, the major tourist spots are all within walking distance and many good restaurants nearby. Swimming pool: we did try to use, as my kids love swimming, but unfortunately the water in the pool is freezing cold. Maybe it is bearable/ better during summer months. Anna, the Guest manager have been so very helpful. She is such a star. She have helped us with booking our transfers to Granada. We struggled with the website (renfe) so she had to call the renfe office, although we end up using a bus after almost an hour call with renfe. Mainly due to renfe seat allocation ( for a family, we are unable to get my kids seated together with us and we will be on seperate coach). We ended up booking transfer with Alsa (bus) we couldn't have booked it without her help. As we we're there during Easter, the hotel provided us with the details of procession. As the procession passes the Hotel and it can be crowded. We are fortunate to see Sevilla on two different perspective. Our first week without procession and our second week we witnessed howwonderful and how grand they celebrate semana santa. Yes busy and can interrupt transport, but we can still able to and from hotel. The tmosphere is so wonderful. Very family oriented and friendly. During our stay my 2 young kids learned about semana santa and started joining the crowd so they can get free sweeties etc from the Confradias. Although I have Philippines background and familiar with semana santa. In sevilla its bigger, and has its own unique touch, we noticed how these event evolve about family. Wherever we looked at wherever we are (cafe, bar, restaurants) families are celebrating. It's such a unique experience for all of us. Breakfast is great. We only used the breakfast buffet ce twice on our first ay and last day. The hot food menu aside from eggs does change so mind. I thought I will get that Spanish sausage again on our last day :) There are lots of bread, pastries, sweets and yes there is a Spanish cheesecake, different type of omelettes, cereals, cheese and ham. There is a cofee machine and orange presser too that my 7 yr old daughter enjoyed, both machine is just push buttoned. Bar: We ordered via phone a bottle of Cava. Delivered very quickly by a lovely gentleman. Again so warm, and very cheerful. Anna and the entire staff had done thee "best service" we ever had. From the very first person that checked us in, the reception staff, regardless busy, still greeted us daily with a smile, the security gentleman who is so friendly to my children thank you! , buffet restaurant service, the cleaning team. Really it is Hotel Becquer staff that is the reason why this hotel is perfect and why we will choose this hotel again when we go back to Sevilla. Thank you for making our first time in Sevilla amazing. A lovely city, with great culture and people. I hope to see you all again in the very near future. Thank you so much Hotel Becquer team!

Highly suggesting this location because you feel spoiled when you come here ❤️ Great location, excellent and super friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable, but looked onto an enclosed courtyard and was a little dark. Service was excellent and all the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of cold meats, cheese, fruit etc, though hot food was a little limited, but good quality. Located near the river and ten minutes walk fromn the city centre. I would certainly consider staying again if I came back to Seville.
