😐 It is closed for works and will not reopen for 14 months (who knows if it can be extended...) They do not announce it on their website or here and it seems to me that it should be announced so that people do not waste time going. . I gave 3 stars because the workers were very helpful, friendly and... People often mention visit,

Another example of the negligence of the administration, Seville city council. Competent staff. It was a great monastery that has been allowed to disappear

Incredible place, full of history. Characters such as the Catholic Monarchs, Emperor Charles I of Spain and V of Germany, Philip II, Torrigiano, Duke Cornejo, Espinar, etc. walked through its cloister. A jewel of architecture. Known as El Escorial Sevillano for the amount of works of art it kept. An inexcusable visit, and if it is also the theatrical visit carried out by the BuenaVista Teatro Company, it is unforgivable to miss it.

They do not announce it on their website or here and it seems to me that it should be announced so that people do not waste time going. . I gave 3 stars because the workers were very helpful, friendly and understood that it was for nothing, that they would communicate it to those in charge, since I was there they invited me to see two very curious exhibitions that they had. One was in a very curious crypt in the basement, the only visitable "part" of the monastery.

Magnificent cloister under restoration. The only thing missing is a bicycle rack at the door. You can also visit the temporary exhibitions at the Civic Center. Recommendable.

The Monastery of San Jerónimo de Buenavista is not exactly in its best state of conservation, but it is still worth the visit. The staff in charge of guiding the visit is very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the place. The most striking thing is the tower and the patio, but there are other things to see.

It is a spectacular building and only the central patio is preserved, surrounded by a gallery of impressive arches. It is usually used for high-level social and cultural events. It is a luxury to be able to enjoy a concert under the moonlight in such a magical place or a fashion show among those stones.

The monastery of San Jerónimo de Buenavista, founded in 1414, currently functions as a civic center. Despite its unfinished restoration work, it still has its architectural and historical charm.

It is worth visiting and even more so with a theatrical visit. These types of monuments must be preserved

A beautiful place, it is under restoration but very well used by the Seville city council with a civic center.

Very enchanting. Extremely large cloister. Only first floor available. This is where many of Murillo’s paintings come from!

(Translated by Google) Monastery from 1414 in very good condition, it can be visited without the crowds typical of any other monument in the city.
