Beautiful old buildings from a 1929 World's Fair. To get there you have to go through a beautiful garden and that's 100% worth it. Beautiful exotic plants.

Inside the wonderful park of Maria Luisa you can find this square with a couple of bars next to it. Be surrounded in nature, with lovely building and just a few hundred meters from the river. The North and South Tower are just 10 minutes walking from here. Walk around and discovers many beautiful hidden wonders.

(Translated by Google) One of the most beautiful and incredible places to visit in Seville. Anibal González looked good with this masterpiece made on the occasion of the Ibero-American exhibition of 1929. It has a semi-elliptical shape. It has 48 banks representing the 48 provinces, except Seville, which existed in Spain in 1029 and above each bank 48 busts of relevant figures in Spanish history such as Velázquez or Quevedo. Its two symmetrical towers, its stairways, tiles, coffered ceilings in the passages, etc. make it an absolute marvel. In addition to having appeared in several film films both ancient as Lawrence of Arábia to modern as Star Wars. Nobody in the world should miss the spectacular Plaza de España !! Además de haber aparecido en varias películas de cine tanto antiguas como Lawrence de Arábia hasta modernas como Star Wars. Nadie en el mundo debería perderse la espectacular Plaza de España!!

The museums, the Archaeological and the Popular Arts and Customs are spectacular, located in 2 magnificent buildings, and the newly restored Royal Pavilion, and the Beautiful Winged Victories that stand out. They run the entire perimeter of the square. Beautiful flowers, funny seats, amazing buildings (the two museums) but crowded of pidgeons the square was totally full of those birds. It's a nice place to spend some minutes, take rest and enjoy the nature just before or after a walk in the wonderful park nearby.

The Plaza América is in the María Luisa Park and was designed and directed by the architect Aníbal González y Álvarez-Osorio (1876-1929). It was opened in 1916 and is surrounded by an oval road for traffic and by the Palace of Ancient Art (now the Museum of Popular Arts and Customs), the Royal Pavilion and the Palace of Fine Arts (now the Archaeological Museum). In these buildings, the first of the 1929 Ibero-American Exhibition, Aníbal González brought together three historic architectural styles: Renaissance (Palace of Fine Arts), Gothic (Royal Pavilion), and Mudejar (Palace of Ancient Art)

Very beautiful square in Maria Louisa Park, built for an exhibition in 1929. Here are the ethnographic museum (a very beautiful building) and the Archaeological Museum, which is currently closed.

Beautiful plaza featuring two amazing buildings and water feature. If you’re scared of birds, be aware of the crowds of pigeons/ doves. I think stalls on the square sell feed for them, as many of the birds were extremely tame and resting in tourists arms and shoulders!

The vegetation is lacking, but the incredible architecture of the surrounding buildings and the unique tile work of the benches and tables more than makes up for it. Don't miss the benches which tell stories in the different tiles.

The Plaza de America, located in the Parque de María Luisa, is flanked by the Museum of Popular Arts (Neomudéjar style) to the north, the Archaeological Museum (Neo-Renaissance style) to the south, and the Royal Pavilion (Gothic style) to the east. These three buildings were built by the architect Aníbal González between 1913 and 1916 for the future Ibero-American exhibition in 1929, each with a different architectural style. Also form Part of the roundabout of Miguel de Cervantes, adorned with the works Ceramics Recalling Most Famous, as Rodriguez Marin.

This area doesn't get nearly as much attention from tourists even though it's so close to Plaza de España. This is a very beautiful park with two large buildings that contrast each other in architecture style. One of them is an archeology museum, which is cheap and definitely worth a visit. The introductions to each section have English translations, though the individual items don't.

(Translated by Google) Despite being very busy and having the "pigeon park" right next to it, I consider it one of the most relaxing places in that environment. Just gazing at that magnificent pavilion and that harmonious fountain, sitting on one of the tiled benches that surround them, you are absorbed in time. Already, if you go at night, with the magical lighting that it has, the spectacle in the eyes is difficult to beat.
