Beautiful large park. Definitely take enough rest and shade during a long walk through the hot city. If you want you can also with a coach from the Plaza de Espana, which then drives through the main aisle through the park.

Just across the Spanish plaza and quickly not many tourists around. Lots of docks and doves around the area. At least 3 swans in the water when I was there. Some locals are taking afternoon naps around the benches under the shade. At least one local tried to feed the birds; birds all know that's happening when suddenly all of them get up and flying to the person.

(Translated by Google) I love coming to feed the pigeons or watch the parrots fly, just listening to their song and looking around transports you to a jungle. Arranged transversely on the axis of the María Luisa park, it is a rectangular pond surrounded by a pergola on brick pillars, with brick flooring and interspersed olambrillas. the pond takes its name from the aquatic plants that float on the water, which was already in the original garden, most of the reform carried out by Forestier. The pergolas around the pond have several vining plant species, such as ivy, bignonjas, Cape Jasmines, solandras, vines, and others. The gazebo has a large plane tree for shade. There are also parasols from China the halo if a group of celindas. There are also swans, ducks and other waterfowl in and around the pond. This site is poetic.

Came to this park for the shades on a very hot day. Felt completely disconnected from the city! Some parts look like in a jungle with wild animals free to run.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful, it imbues you with tranquility and contact with nature ... unfortunately there are no lotus flowers. Although sincerely while enjoying the place, I could not help imagining the noble ladies of the time walking and enjoying their paths and aromas with those voluminous costumes, umbrellas and fans delighting in the delicious singing of the birds.

The Estanque de los Lotos in Sevilla is a picturesque gem that enhances the city's charm. This small yet enchanting lotus pond is a hidden oasis, nestled within a bustling urban landscape. The beauty of the Estanque de los Lotos lies in its juxtaposition to the surrounding city. As you approach the pond, you'll find yourself transported to a tranquil haven, far removed from the noise and chaos of urban life. The pond is surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant lotus flowers, their pink and white blossoms creating a serene and almost otherworldly atmosphere. The gentle ripples on the water's surface, the reflection of the lotus flowers, and the occasional glimpse of fish swimming beneath it all contribute to the pond's aesthetic charm. It's a place where you can escape the city's pace and immerse yourself in the soothing embrace of nature. The Estanque de los Lotos is not only a visual delight but a sensory one as well, with the faint fragrance of the lotus blossoms enhancing the experience. It's a serene corner of Sevilla where you can appreciate the simple yet profound beauty of nature within an urban setting.

Great spot to just watch the birds, or take photos. The parrots and crows love drinking from the fountain, plus there were baby ducks, all super cute. We also saw mating ducks, it was an experience.
