It’s
nice
that
the
price
included
tickets
though
our
party
found
the
tour
rather
unpleasant.
The
guide
spent
way
too
much
time
talking
about
the
same
story
of
the
same
members
of
the
ancient
Royal
family
for
the
palace
rather
than
discussing
the
architecture
of
the
building
and
allowing
for
more
time
to
take
pictures
or
explore
the
gardens.
We
also
felt
offended
by
the
inaccuracy
of
the
history
with
a
very
biased
viewpoint.
For
example,
our
guide
seemed
to
celebrate
“the
great”
Christopher
Columbus
instead
of
provide
accurate
history
of
how
he
killed
the
indigenous
people
of
the
Americas;
he
called
colonialism
“settling.”
He
also
inaccurately
said
how
the
Arab/Muslim
people
and
Catholics/Christians
were
all
getting
along
and
it
was
peaceful
rather
than
providing
the
accurate
history
of
the
exiling,
slaughter,
and
stealing
of
Muslim
and
Jewish
land,
buildings,
and
culture
by
the
Catholics
and
Christians
that
forced
them
to
flee
to
North
Africa,
causing
tens
of
thousands
of
deaths
.
Basically
provided
a
Caucasian
Spaniard
point
of
view
of
history
when
people
that
come
from
those
lands/cultures
in
our
party
knew
the
real
truth.
I
think
it’s
harmful
to
share
that
misinformation
to
others
that
would
not
know
better.
“In
the
same
month
in
which
their
Majesties
[Ferdinand
and
Isabella]
issued
the
edict
that
all
Jews
should
be
driven
out
of
the
kingdom
and
its
territories,
in
the
same
month
they
gave
me
the
order
to
undertake
with
sufficient
men
my
expedition
of
discovery
to
the
Indies.”
So
begins
Christopher
Columbus's
diary…
