I did the Seville excursion from Cádiz port. The tour was fabulous! Bus ride was comfortable and small group tour was very well run. Tour guide was thoughtful enough to keep us out of overcrowded areas which allowed for a much better experience! The excursion didn’t feel too rushed, 90 minutes of free time allowed for a lovely lunch or shopping. Everything ran smoothly and was on time back to the ship. Honestly, this excursion was much better run than the ones coordinated by the cruise ship.

We toured with Spain Day tours on our recent cruise. They were top rated on cruise critic and highly recommended by fellow cruisers. They did not disappoint! We toured both the Real Alcazar in Seville as well as the Alhambra in Grenada. The tours themselves were amazing and we had wonderful days. Not only are the tour’s half the cost of the ships but you get the small group experience as well. Everything from the booking through to the bus transfers were top notch, on time and we’ll explained. There were even follow up emails to confirm bus locations and what to bring. We felt completely taken care of throughout. They are extremely professional and I highly recommend this tour company.

A wonderful half day tour in Valencia, Spain. Our guide, James, was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. James covered all the highlights of beautiful city of Valencia. We were a small group, therefore, easy to manage. Easy walk. Comfortable van for transportation. I highly recommend this tour. Read less

Thank you Marta (and our amazing driver)! Costa Brava was beautiful, especially Tossa de Mar. Marta adapted the tour so well to our needs and nothing was too much trouble. We wouldn’t have been able to find the hidden beach without her or learn so much about the area, what restaurant to have lunch in and why Girona was so important in history (and Game of Thrones!).

Spain Day tours has been great for us in the past when we toured with a larger group, however this time we opted to tour with just 4 of us to The Alhambra, and so glad we did. The driver picked us up at the cruise port and drove us the 2 hours out to Granada to start our day. Our tour guide (Margarita) structured the tour to our preferences and took her time leading us around the gardens and palace. She gave us just enough information for the tour to be engaging, and not boring. All in all a marvelous experience!

We traveled by cruise ship to the ports of Cadiz and Barcelona where we joined the Spain Day Tours to the Seville and Barcelona Montserrat tours respectively. Both tours were very well organized and sticking to the itinerary. The pickup from and return to the cruise ports were very punctual and clearly indicated by the driver and guide; the tours were very well organized. The professional explanation and service provided by the guide was excellent. Their services were of supreme quality and itinerary excellent yet with very reasonable price, less than 50% of the cruise ship and around 90% of that of Viator and Get your tour. They are trustworthy and worth the money, and very importantly, they respond to inquires very rapidly. They provide both small group and private tours, with pickup from cruise ports and hotels, highly recommended.

My wife and I just returned from a 12-day cruise with three other couples on Oceania Nautica from Lisbon to Rome, April 23 through May 5. I contracted with Spain Day Tours for full-day private tours in both Seville and Malaga. We could not have been happier with the service and attention we received. The Nautica is a small enough ship that we were able to dock right in the heart of Seville, unlike larger ships that dock in Cadiz. Our guide Fran met us about 100 yards from the ship and walked us across the street to the Plaza de España where we began our tour. Fran was a fun and knowledgeable guide and made sure we had an amazing experience, We eventually picked up audio guide devices so we could hear him in the busier parts of town, and a van met us to give us a riding tour of the bigger city, before dropping us at the Alcazar. Fran took us on a wonderful tour of this amazing palace and garden. We later spent some free time for lunch and sightseeing in the center of town, before meeting the van to take us back to the ship. Three days later we met our SDT guide Debbie and another van at the pier in Malaga. I had arranged a tour out to Puerto Banus and Marbella, followed by a journey up in the hills to Mijas, and then back to Malaga to see the Alcazaba. At every step of the way Debbie provided history, local insights, and knowledge about the Costa del Sol. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Mijas, even on a misty day. And the tour of the Alcazaba was a great workout with some amazing views of the city below. At the end the van delivered us back to our ship. Dealing with Emilia at SDT to organize the tours was extremely easy, and she made thoughtful suggestions to enhance the trips. We enjoyed being on private tours during this time of Covid, and having the flexibility to adjust each day due to our whims, which you can't do on a ship tour. Finally, the total cost for our tours was about half what it would have cost to do excursions through the ship. Having our own built-in group certainly made it easy. I cannot recommend Spain Day Tours highly enough. KvB

We have taken excursions with Spain Day Tours on several cruises. Their excursions are always well organized, with outstanding guides, good vehicles and on schedule. We also had many bookings with them that had to be canceled during Covid and they were great about it. Their communications are always prompt and comprehensive. They are my go to excursion company whenever we are lucky enough to be visiting Spain!

We used Spanish day Tours in Lisbon for a tour to Obidos, Fatima, and Nazare. Our tour time was cut short due to our ship had to leave earlier than expected because of approaching weather. Our tour guide did his very best to let us see the different areas in the limited time we had. He was awesome! He kept apologizing for the "rush" even though it wasn't his fault and timed it perfectly to get us back to the ship on time. I highly recommend Spanish Day Tours.

We had a wonderful time touring with Spain Day Tours in three different ports in Spain. The bus drivers and tour guides were all very knowledgeable, and were very diligent about the safety and enjoyment of the passengers. It was nice to have the comfort of our own coach to travel in with people from our cruise ship, and the knowledge that they were very aware of, and determined to get us back to the ship on time, put our minds at ease. A lot of ground was covered in each of these tours, and we found it to be well worth the money that we paid. We wouldn’t hesitate to book a tour through this company again. Every step was handled very professionally and in a friendly manner!

Lisbon was a stop on our cruise. We knew we wanted to see Lisbon and Sintra but couldn’t find many tours to visit both locations. Spain Day Tours was able to accommodate us on the Lisbon, Sintra, Estoril full day private tour. This was by far the most expensive excursion on our trip, but worth every penny. Our guide, Joseph, was fantastic. If he’s available, request him as your guide. He ensured we used up every minute of our time in port to show us as much of the region as possible. We will absolutely return to visit Lisbon again one day if for no reason other than to see more of the region on tours with Joseph.

Our tour with Pedro was incredible! He was extremely knowledgeable and showed us innumerable highlights of both old and modern Valencia. The bus was modern and comfortable. In addition it was super easy to connect with him ... exactly as described in our confirmation email. And he got us back exactly when promised-- in plenty of time to board the ship, even on a short port day. We couldn't be happier. We highly recommended Spain Day Tours, and especially Pedro, to future visitors.

Great guide, great transportation! We spent the day with Spain Day Tours in Balboa Spain. Our guide shared so much great information! He also walked us through parts of the Guggenheim Museum. The knowledge he shared made the exhibits come to life. Far superior than trying to do it on your own! We were on a cruise and only in town for the day. SDT gave us a great taste of the city and all the highlights you can squeeze into one day!

I highly recommend Barcelona day tours! It was easy booking. Tours were smooth. Got picked up on time. Bus clean. Max of 13 people on our city tour plus Montserrat. Enough time to eat. Trip next day to Dali museum and girona went well too. Loved our tour guide Elena and Luts. Spoke English well. Elena even sang for us and taught us flamenco! Very passionate about their work and their city. We learned alot. Sagrada should not be missed, even the inside. Parc guell was fun. If there is time, I recommend visiting casa batlo and casa pedrera on your own as you would see only the outside with the day tour. Should definitely do Dali museum as well. Luts explained paintings well and kept kids engaged. Had time to eat in girona. Luts showed us where to go. Very nice town. I would do this trip again with Barcelona day tours. Enough time to take pictures! And Elena knows where the spots are for the perfect take! She took everyone's picture too. Thanks again for a wonderful time!

I absolutely recommend touring with Spain Day Tours. We had top notch service from our fantastic tour guide, Elena, and our great driver, Alfonso. Elena was very knowledgeable, friendly and made the experience so much fun. I loved that she took us to all the great spots for pics and took pictures for us. Alfonso got us safely to all of our locations and always just steps away. We learned so much about Barcelona that I can't wait to visit again. The city is beautiful and if you're on the right tour you'll appreciate it even more. We would highly recommend the Barcelona City tour to anyone visiting this beautiful city. We wish we had spent more time in Barcelona to do their other tours; next time. Highly recommend Spain Day Tours.

We took 3 of the tours and had a great experience. Montserrat was amazing and I'm so thankful we got to spend time there. Also had a good visits to Granada and Seville. We definitely recommend the tours. The price is reasonable and it is nice to go in a smaller group than ships offer.

Two different tours, both a delight. As much as the incredible attractions, what made it all indelible among good memories, was the eager yet patient attitude of the guide -- coupled with an impressive knowledge of the subject matter.

Wife and I did a private small group tour while on our European Cruise. Easy pick up at the port and quite fun to be a small group walking in the city and getting driven around to the various places including the beautiful museums. Our guide Elena was great- friendly, informative, engaging and adapts herself to the size, speed and interests of the group! great alternative to the cruise options of big buses herded around!

We loved our tour to the Alhambra. Our guide on the bus was amazing she was a wealth of knowledge and very cheerful. Our Alhambra guide I think his name was Roberto. We loved how passionate he is. He told stories and histories and pointed out something special in many of the rooms or gardens. The quiet boxes were such an easy way to listen and keep up with the presentation and also take photos. First rate all around

The Private Day Trip for 12 to Salamanca that Miguel Luis arranged perfectly went well. Our driver Rafa was great, driving safely going to and returning and ensuring the comfort in a nice private van. The itinerary was perfect to cover Salamanca and a brief rest stop in Avila and had quick photo opportunity there of the city walls view. The day was well planned by our very knowledgeable and great Guide Amalia. Arriving on time at our hotel and then gave a brief tour of Madrid on our way out to Salamanca. We enjoyed all the information and stories about Salamanca in a good pace to enjoy the sights while learning and giving us opportunities for photos and free time. She had covered as much as she can on the time slot we requested. Over all, we are very pleased with all the professional and great service rendered - from communication responsiveness to managing and planning our trip reservation even on short notice, to our vehicle, our driver and finally selecting the appropriate guide for us. From all of us - muchos gracias! We all had a great time in Salamanca!

Great tours! Highly recommend. We used Spain Day Tours for small group tours in Tenerife, Malaga and Cadiz on our recent European cruise. They were amazing. Emilia was great at communication and made it super easy to organize each tour. We had 20-30 people on each tour and they simply raved about the day. Great guides, informative and friendly. We saw so many amazing places! Will definitely use again our next trip!

Luis is the tour guide for our Valencia & Sagunto with Spain Day Tour. His immense knowledge in Spain from heritage, culture, history enriched our understanding in Valencia and Spain. His communication is so clear and organized. Most important of all, we felt that he loves his job and tries to give us as much as possible. Our ship changed the departure time to one hour earlier. He told us that the tour is 8 hours and still insisted on doing an 8 hours tour. His commitment was so unique. One of the guest comments best described his performance "it is worth every moment with him today". Though some of us are really tired of the long walk, I am sure everybody is very happy and grateful for his enthusiasm. He was the best part of our trip as a tour guide. Apart from showing us the various places of interest (ancient to modern), he also managed to recommend good restaurants, reasonable food choices. Everything he did was efficient.

We did the Ronda and Mijas tour and really enjoyed it. Our guide, Miguel, was fantastic. We were on a cruise and they picked us up right at the cruise terminal in Malaga. We took about a 1 hour ride to Ronda. Along the way Miguel explained some history and about the agriculture and present day situation in the area. When we reached Ronda, Miguel escorted us from the bus terminal to center of the city about a 10-15 minute walk. He provided us maps and gave us time to self tour the area for approx 90 minutes. We enjoyed walking around the old part of town and stopped for a coffee and dons tapas before rejoining the group. We walked back to the bus and headed to Mijas. The 60 minute drive to Mijas was gorgeous through the mountains. Mijas was beautiful but very hilly so some of our friends had some difficulty exploring. Miguel again explained a little about the city when we arrived and allowed us time to explore in our own. It was a fabulous day I definitely recommend this tour.

We used Spain Day Tours to arrange a tour from Malaga to Granada, specifically the Alhambra, since our ship did not offer that option. They picked up right at the port, bussed us to the Alhambra, and then split us into small groups (ours was 13) for a comprehensive tour of the site. We saw the whole thing, and our guide took her time and didn’t rush us through. Then we had free time in the center of Granada to grab some lunch or do a little shopping before returning to the ship. A very nice tour, and reasonably priced. I would recommend to anyone.

We took two excursions with Spain Day Tours during our Iberian cruise last month. Both the Lisbon, Sintra, Estoril tour and the Seville/Alcazar tour were beyond our expectations. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, interesting and fun. The transportation buses were top of the line. Both tours were very organized and stayed on schedule.

We very much enjoyed our tour of the Alhambra with your company. The whole process was handled very professionally from the start. I was impressed with how quickly you responded to emails and gave helpful and accurate information. The driver was on the dock as planned. He was friendly and courteous and the van was very comfortable. He provided some commentary on the trip up from Almeria.. His English was fairly good, although it was hard to hear him in the back of the van.. He also bought us ice cream before the return trip which was a very nice touch! The guide and tour in Alhambra were excellent. All of the members of our party commented on how knowledgeable and friendly our guide was His English was excellent.and he clearly knew the history and facts of the Alhambra and surrounding area. He showed us the best places to stand, where to take photos, etc We were, of course, impressed by the beauty of the Alhambra. I would definitely recommend your company for this tour in the future.

We used Spain Day Tours on a recent stop during a Viking Cruise to visit the Alhambra and had a very positive experience from our very first email exchange, to meeting with their representative at the dock until our return late I'm the afternoon. The coach was very comfortable and the members on board were split into two groups so as no group was larger than 18 people. Spain Day Tours provides the audio equipment which makes it very easy to hear the guide without having to stand right within a tight semicircle, especially important during Covid times. Both Debbie and Bert (sp?) were excellent guides. Debbie made the long drive enjoyable by sharing her knowledge of the area with us throughout the drive. Bert kept up a steady pace throughout the tour of the grounds. His knowledge was amazing and he accepted questions from the group throughout the tour. On our ride back to the ship I spoke with passengers who had been assigned to the other guide on the grounds of the Alhambra and they seemed equally pleased with her performance.

We booked a city tour of Valencia in June 2022 while on a cruise . Pick up at the passenger terminal was very convenient. There were about 6 people in our small group tour and we had an entire bus to ourselves. Pedro, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. The communication with the company beforehand was always timely. I would definitely book another tour with this company.

We booked 4 tours with Spainday Tours: Santiago de Compostela, Porto, Lisbon (private tour) and Seville. We were impressed with each tour guide, they were very knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. The guides were organized and on time, and we made it back to the ship in plenty of time prior to departure from port. We particularly liked breaking up into smaller groups upon arrival. The free time allowed us to leisurely find shopping and or a restaurant to sample the local foods. Our private tour of Lisbon, Pena Palace and Sintra was given by Carlos. Again, he was friendly and knowledgeable, and his outgoing personality made the excursion fun and enjoyable. He is an asset to your company. We would definitely take another excursion with Spainday Tours and would highly recommend you to anyone wishing to take a shore excursion. The promise of returning to the ship on time was comforting and knowing that if there was a problem, they would take care of all expenses to get us to the next port gave us peace of mind. Spainday Tours is a first class organization.

Used Spain Day Tours when we visited Bilbao, Spain. The tour was very fairly priced and just the right length. Got a good understanding of Bibao, the city and got to spend time in the Guggenheim museum. Our guide was on-time, informative and great to work with. We highly recommend.

On a recent transatlantic cruise, we used Spain Day Tours for tours in 3 ports; Malaga (tour to Granada/Alhambra), Cartagena (tour of Murcia and Cartagena), and Palma de Mallorca. All 3 of our Spain Day Tours were wonderful! The guides were outstanding! The transportation was comfortable and spacious and the Drivers were great. The content of the tours was excellent! Booking was easy. Spain Day Tours communicates well, is extremely responsive, and was very accommodating to all my requests. I couldn't be happier. I will use Spain Day Tours every chance I get!
