What an adorable, quaint cafe. We had breakfast one morning and went back for lunch the following day. The services was friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and had nice atmpsohere whether you sat inside or the outside patio. Will definitely be back!!

We stopped in after a friend recommended to us who went to college at Sewanee. We had battered chicken tenders with battered fries, fish and chips, a Bearwalker brew, and iced tea. Food was cooked fresh and plenty. Seating is tight and cozy. We enjoyed the large TV to watch the ballgame. Before leaving, I walked into the adjacent bakery (same building) and grabbed some to-go treats. I absolutely recommend the salted brown butter rice krispie treat.

Stopped in for lunch while checking out The University of the South at Sewanee. My daughter neglected to book a tour, so we drove thru and explored on our own. It's gorgeous! We wanted lunch and stopped in here and met Mr Jimmy. He is the best champion for the college. He made a call, we had an appt at the school and a fantastic lunch. I had the jackalope hand battered chicken. It was not only huge, but extremely delicious. Beer battered fries are amazing too. The jackelope sauce was a ranch blended with jalepeno and so good. My daughter got a wonderful looking salad. They had gorgeous pastries and Mr Jimmy said people viewing the campus get one on him. My daughter selected the Hello Dolly bar, like a 7 layer magic bar but enormous and tasty. Food was a 5 for sure but the time with Mr Jimmy (a proud graduate of the school) was 10 stars for sure!!!!! He made our day just by being such an amazing fellow

A few days ago my family and I ate at this quaint little restaurant. THE FOOD: We each ordered something different, and we were all very pleased! Good portion sizes, and super tasty. We also purchased a huge rice crispy treat and a delicious cinnamon roll from the cafe- wow, they were perfect! THE LOCATION: Super cute street, several quaint shops around, easy parking. The restaurant, has a cafe section next door which is open for breakfast. The cafe has a huge selection of muffins, cookies, pastries, etc. The restaurant has inside and patio seating. Lots of shaded areas in the outside patio, and dog friendly!! THE STAFF: The young man who took our orders at the counter was the son of the owner, super friendly, sharp, and accommodating young man! He got our orders right. Our server was great as well. Again, she too was extremely accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. The best thing was getting to meet the owner Jimmy. He spoke with us for a while- what an amazing man- we all just lived his personality and hospitality!! Jimmy visited with all the tables and made everyone feel right at home. We will be visiting this place again for sure!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking a trip out and stopping by this super fun cafe!

Absolutely loved this place! Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Serve yourself coffee, which I appreciate. Our meals were delicious and we purchased cookies for later. My husband had the Snickerdoodle and I had the peanut butter. Divine! Best choices in their bakery case I have seen in Tennessee. Incredible place.

Cute little local place with a hometown vibe. Food and Baked goods were good. We had wings and a patty melt for lunch then a caramel cinnamon bun for dessert that was very good.

The people and atmosphere were very nice and relaxed.. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The pretzel bites were saturated in butter or grease, asked for no onions on the patty melt, but got chopped up onions on it, and the sweet potato fries came out cold and very greasy. On the positive, my grilled chicken fingers were very good. Perfectly cooked!

Let’s start w/Brooklyn N attitude. It’s was the worst I’ve see in a long time. You don’t just tell a customer, here, sign this(the receipt)w/out using please or thank you. She walked by us at least 7 times and didn’t even stop to see if we needed anything or to find out if the food was good. The owner, an older gentleman did the same thing exact thing as well. While the food was okay, nothing spectacular, I’m pretty sure the bed of lettuce they put my burger on was from a salad as it had salad dressing on it. Overall, we see no reason to come back or even recommend it to others. Also, pretty sure a waitress was outside laying down on one of the picnic tables. Overall, you have what appears to be several other places in this area to give your money to. I’d check them out before coming here!
