Amazing hike with rewarding spectacular views at the top. This hike is very good and doesn't disappoint. Thought it felt like stairs to heaven, you will eventually make it to the top. The stairs at the final stretch are very steep (coming from Sha Tin Pass). 10/10, highly recommended, suitable for most ages.

This hike was fantastic. Really glad we did it during winter. The climb up feels like a million steps and you will curse on the way up, unless you are very fit in which case good for you. If you have a fear of heights, still do it just dont go too close to the edge at the top. Enjoy this spectacular hike with amazing views.

The Lion rock, as one of our symbolic landmark of HK, has always won favour with both the locals and tourists for its unravelled and impeccable view of Kwoloon and HK Island. Standing at 495m above sea level, the densely packed houses all lie beneath your feet, and your view can extend well beyond to the HK island, Victoria harbour and even the Victoria peak, if weather is possible. The climb up the lion rock is an easy trip. Nevertheless, beware of monkeys as they may charge at you and steal items from you.

Incredible views and hard to imagine it was only a 1-2hr or so hike from the city below. We came up from tsz wan Shan taking the slightly long route, the views are totally worth I would rate this around 2.5stars difficulty There’s parts where you have to use your hands to get up in order to get to the “head” of the lion

Nice hike with a great view of the whole city. The view is very nice from the top but the hike is always in the middle trees

View is amazing once you get to the top. You have to work all the way up with stairs. Not much view through the route. Unfortunately few minutes after we got to the top the weather changed drastically and could not see anything.

One of the most famous rock/mountain in Hong Kong. About a mile hike up from the Wong Tai Sin MTR station. Great spot to take pictures day and nights. You can see all the way to the Hong Kong islands in a sunny day. Must see!

Intermediate hard climb to the top of Lion Rock but the view is exhilarating. A site not to be missed.
