Nice little temple, made up of about 4 buildings. Quite a long windy road up to get to it but worth a visit. There is no charge but there is donation boxes. They have toilets and sinks. They have quite a few statues including lots of Buddha, a turtle and a pagoda.

A very peaceful and tranquil place to visit. We had the place to ourselves for most of our visit. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone to visit. 5 minutes from the main raid, you would think it was further as there is no noise from the road.

This is a buddhist temple. It's very clean and peaceful. One will gain his or her inner peace the moment one steps in the temple. It has a spacious washroom too.

I love the environment of the temple, cooling and it's peaceful, walking around the temple, very soothing. Will come back again. Me and my gf went there to light up the oil cup (prayer). And stop for awhile for prayers.

Nice and big temple in Cameron. The temple grounds are huge and I saw building housing either dormitories or classes Good for a short rest and some photo taking. Admission is free.

Nice , Clean and the statues had a card explaining and identifying it. And had a chance to hear monks chanting it was calming . Make sure to check the 10000 tiles on the walls of the temple.

Quiet, Serene, and Peaceful Buddhist temple. It feels so calm here. No disturbance, no distraction. Had my prayer here. The feeling of being surrounded by positive and peaceful vibes is fantastic. Just watch out for the wild dogs.

Very Very peaceful and quiet, straight out of a ghibli film. The stray dogs there were very friendly and even led us around like tour guides. Beautiful architecture and geological structures around. You can find the entrance to Trail 2 around here too.

I think this is a largest Chinese temple in Cameron Highland. Free entrance, easily to get parking space. Majority for Chinese tourist or Chinese people come for pray. I think also is a good place for foreigner to understand about Chinese culture here.

This is a lovely temple. As you would expect, it is serene and calming, despite the little puppies running around (watch where you step!). It is well maintained despite what other reviewers have stated. It is active too as worshippers (forgive this expression from a non-Buddhist!) were in attendance for most of our visit. There are a number of rooms to explore for you to be wowed by the extraordinary statues. I’d love it if, when uneducated foreigners like myself visit, we’d be offered assistance with a little bit of what each figure represents so that we’d leave with a little more understanding. Perhaps it’s just me!

The Sam Poh Temple is a must-visit destination for those interested in exploring the local culture and history. Its detailed architecture and beautiful surroundings are truly mesmerizing. Visitors can admire the giant statues of Buddha, the colorful murals, and the intricate carvings that adorn the temple walls. The serene atmosphere of the temple makes it a perfect place for quiet contemplation and relaxation. The temple is located near other popular tourist spots in Cameron Highlands and, as mentioned before, is definitely worth a visit.

I have been to about hundreds of temples in a few countries. This is not the grandest but top experience so far. The only temple i have been to that the monks chanting or blessing all day for visitors in main hall. No commercial feel at all, the gate guy in main hall wearing glass is super friendly and helpful. Felt blessed and calm. Super experience

Nice, simple temple, but needs a bit of TLC. A lot of construction materials lying around, and seems a little neglected… with loads of dogs lying around and Beware of the Dog signs (though they seemed totally docile and non-threatening if given distance). We arrived just before closing and so it was all pretty empty; there is nothing to do in terms of read and learn, so not a great tourist visit. But it has some impressive statutes and worth a 15 minute visit en route to somewhere else in the Brinchang area.

A decently big temple, also quite pretty. Lots of cute dogs outside. The route is quite narrow and rough if coming in from the main road, so take care.

The temple is under construction. They are constructing a simple pagoda at the main entrance. When we arrived, a crane was park at the parking lot however still have ample parking for visitors. It's a shrine of Buddha and Thousand hand of Guanyin.

The architecture of the temple is not that fancy , but the temple is still solemn. There is a vegetarian canteen that provides free food. The believers that work as volunteers there are friendly.

A very peaceful place to go. Its scenery is beautiful and this temple has got its own history. Every Chinese lunar day 1th and 15th there will be vegetarian foods served to all visitors that visited their temple on that day. You can make donations to the temple on your own preferred amount. Definitely a great place to go if you are a buddhism. They does chanting prayers too on every chinese lunar 1th and 15th.
