I always come here for the mee raja. Always never fail me for 9 years! BUT!!! My recent visit was a huge disappointment. The taste is all different now. I am not sure if it's the person who cook or their food latest SOP. The mee raja meletup doesn't even get the meletup taste at all. Not even spicy. The nasi goreng kampung is also totally different. Same thing, not spicy. The worst is the nasi goreng paprik. The rice doesn't taste good at all and the gravy tasted so sweet. Any other mamak can cook better. Murni really need to look into this matter. All of their food is getting sweeter and the taste is getting worse.

Being a budak Subang Jaya, I was delighted when Murni decided to start their business here in USJ, as going to their original shop in SS2 is a hassle for me and my fellow friends. Food was great. Service was superb. Thus, the "was". I decided to come here to relive my memories eating here while growing up. And I can assure you, they have changed. A lot. Food doesn't taste the same. Ordered Mee Raja Tomyum with Fish Fillet as my memory recalls it to be packed with tomyam flavour, with good heat coming from the chilli and spices. That was the good ol'days. Now, it tastes the same as the normal Mee Raja. Or worst. I would say worst, because it doesn't (or lacks) of the Mee Raja flavour like the glory days of Murni. Whew. I'll give it another try, but not in the near future. Let's just say that I'll give them time to improve, before I come here for another visit. Hopefully, they will, once again, be the Murni I used to know. Good luck.

Service has improved very much after the MCO, now the service crews are so much more friendly and polite :) Cleanliness can still be improved but it has gotten better as compared to last time when tables and menus were always sticky and tissues always found on the floor. Murni is the place to go for pocket friendly food that comes in generous portions. Most times one dish can be shared by two normal-appetite persons 😅 Here, we ordered the Mee Raja Meletup (with petai), Indomie special with Chicken Maryland and Doctor Fingers (chicken fillets with fries & coleslaw). Each cost below RM15

The food here used to be good, and I liked it. But recent visit disappointed me the most. The chicken chop maryland was really hard to bite, not juicy at all, not hot like freshly cooked. The spaghetti was kinda stale. I think they just cook it first from frozen, let it rest till customer order and just reheat the food, not cooked from the start, that's why the food unusually fast to be delivered to table. If you treat your customer like students at canteen, better sell it like canteen price. I am very particular about chicken chop and spaghetti, which was why I liked Murni before, because they were good.. But now, this level of quality is not acceptable, considering the price they charge, comparing street stall's food which taste better. You just lost a very loyal customer.

Food is good, Nasi ayam masak sambal hijau was excellent, beef burger beats some of the best fast food, and sizzling Chicken chop was wow. Teh tarki needs improvement it tasted kike the 3in1 tea. The seating is a little congested (tables too close to each other) but maybe that is the selling point.

Nov23: Came back for the Nasi Lemak fried chicken and Nasi Goreng Kampung again. Quality is still very good - the Ikan bilis in the fried rice is very crispy too, really made my day! Still one of the best places for reasonably priced Malay food. Y2022: The food in this USJ 9 outlet is very delicious and service is very fast. The Nasi Lemak and Nasi Goreng Kampung are very tasty; perfect when complemented with the Fried Chicken! Cost RM 13.5 & RM15 respectively (with chicken).

Love the extra spicy mee raja. So much ingredients and sedap sekali 👍. My daughter has enjoyed the fish and chips. We are a little greedy and ordered the extra pedas nasi goreng kampong. However, we both preferred the mee raja.

Very sadly, my first revisit to Murni after 2016 turned out to be a disastrous disappointment. First, food/drink quality was crazily low (yet with a significant price rise). A plate of mee raja at RM12.9 had only two bites of chicken and squid? Not to mention mee was mushy. On the other side, Thai tea at RM7.5 was crazily dilute (and sweet despite kurang-mania request). I don’t mind paying more, but please, produce some decent food and drink. This is literally a more expensive and much less worthy version of mamak. Second, staffs who take orders can’t understand bm or English well. Can’t understand “separuh mee or kurang mee”, “kurang kurang manis” also became “kurang manis kurang ais”. At the end I only managed to finish a tiny fraction of what I ordered, wasting almost the whole of RM20+.

Indomee with Chicken Chop and Teh O Ais = RM 18.20. The food kinda dry and the chicken is lack of spice. Crowded but has many chairs and tables. Can hangout there but the ventilation not that good.

Ordered the kembung via grab and the fish was a bit smelly. When I opened it I realised they hadn't gutted or cleaned the fish - just boiled like that. The guts were so smelly once I opened it, I couldn't finish the food. Hopefully I don't get food poisoning from this. I understand times must be trying for restaurants rushing to complete lunch orders but I hope this doesn't happen again.

Am very disappointed with the way was treated as in complying to the SOP by the Health Ministry, the outlet specifically in USJ 9 misunderstood the proper legal way in accordance to abide to the rules regulations when becoming a patron at an eatery. It was mandatory for customers to wear masks when they enter the premise even when they’re eating there. I don’t see the necessity as the customers still have to take off the masks when eating. It is compulsory to wear face masks in public but it is understood that one doesn’t have to when eating at an eatery. Thus where’s the logic that a customer has to wear one when entering. Murni is an eatery and customers who dine in eat there. I am really dissatisfied with the situation.

This place offer variety of local, mamak and western food, and also many choice of drink. Also very condusive and convenience to eat with family and friend. This place always seem crowded, even during MCO but ofcourse they have to follow social distance rule so that the seat may limited . The food price maybe not the cheapest but at its reasonable price with good quality food and customer service.

Hope the boss takes better care of the shop. I usually come at 12noon, only 1 lady worker being super friendly.other guys are with poker face. Food is good but they don't ensure chairs/tables are properly wiped. Especially the chairs. These are easy maintenance chairs so please wipe the oil/spilled water marks please. Not 1 but many are dirty.

The naan bread texture is just nice not hard and not dry. In fact other dishes like fried mee or rice is also yummy. Their lamb chop is commendable also.

Our 1st time here to celebrate a farewell lunch for our colleague..I've ordered Nyonya curry mee..it was way² too spicy to eat i would say even after had to pick n separates the extreme chilli flakes..so does the rest of my colleagues foods..they only ate it juz bcoz not wanting to waste it..parking lots was hard to find during lunch hours..

Gone are the days of legendary Murni dishes, but at least at this outlet the quality is still acceptable from the dishes had. Drinks are still not my thing, all way too sweet and honestly feel too gimmicky than not. Throwing in different concentrates and calling it a mocktail just does'nt cut it. At least its still a nice place to hang out, and if you don't become too adventurous, the classic dishes are still good.

This place became so bad in terms of food quality, service & ambience. I ordered a spaghetti carbonara for take away and waited for 50 minutes to get my food!! Not only that, the food tasted so bad, so bland and tasted like a toothpaste! Paid for RM13 but I got a dog food quality!!! You thought easy ah to find money nowaydays!!
