Day 4 2023 of burger week, The Granger burger at Old River Tap. Probably our worst experience for burger week . We joined some family members the the occasion and I'd have to say we were all disappointed. Its started off we asked about the kettle beer special and were told they ran out . So i ordered a long island ice tea . Only to read a sign on the wall that stated 1/2 bottle of wine night . When asking the waitress why she didn't tell us off any specials her reply was thy were running out of wine 🤦‍♂️. Taking a drink of the long island ice tea it tasted like straight tart lemonade. There is no lemon other than a garnish in a long island . She did without question have the drink remade which was made correctly . On to appetizers , we both ordered the Elote Mexican corn.(Elote is grilled Mexican street corn that has been brushed with a mixture of mayonnaise, Mexican crema (or sour cream), topped with cotija cheese, and sprinkled with either chili powder, cayenne powder, or smoked paprika, before adding lime juice and fresh cilantro.) what we got was close but not this , we were told 4 pieces we both got 3 no seasoning of any kind and they must have ran out of cilantro because it was sprinkled with parsley a 7.00 app. I will say the burgers were good ,excellent char fries were oily and they forgot about the wives salads which they ended up not eating because there was so much oil in the dressing . Buttered pasta noodles for the little guy weren't even fresh, oily and pre made from a bag that you just microwave. I could got this at Mark's and eat this at home if i wanted this junk. ( feeling cheated)Over all not a good experience.I can't say we would recommend dining here . We were really hoping this would have been a nice place.

Went here for Cleveland burger week specials! The Granger burger was delicious. The sides of fresh cut fries were good and a good amount for the price. The side salad was a nice mix of spring mix, onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes with the house balsamic that was delicious. Good kids menu, the Mac and cheese was homemade with white sauce. They have a great variety of local craft beers on tap. The servers were friendly, the atmosphere was nice but when the crowd was louder, the service was fast from ordering to receiving our meal.

Best food I’ve had in a long time. Our server Zach was amazing! Highly recommend the crispy chicken sandwich. 12/10 dining experience.

The food was great and our server was nice… eventually. We did go early in the evening, around 5, but the place was nearly empty and they way the hostesses were acting, you would’ve thought it was closed. The paper menus are blurry and the ink is smeared so it’s hard to read (no I am not 80 years old). I think they are trying to go with a certain vibe but it just seemed really cheap. They have a great menu selection of apps and burgers but the atmosphere wasn’t my favorite. I got the Napa chicken sandwich and it was great. The pretzel and cauliflower was also good although the pretzel needs more cheese sauce and the cauliflower could be better tossed with the Buffalo sauce. 4 stars.

I have been coming here regularly every other week with a groups of friends for trivia. The quality of the food has been declining and with the unveiling of the new “summer” menu (well into summer), reached a new low last night. I ordered the watermelon salad which was basically an elevated kids meal- a slice of water melon with a handful of mixed greens for $14. I was perplexed by the fact that the watermelon didn’t come cubed and that OR felt ok about charging $14 for a dish that is 85% water. My date’s burger was supposed to be medium, but instead was apparently thrown into a fire, forgotten about and fished out several minutes later. Fries are hit or miss with mostly misses. They seem to go through servers at a rate higher than the National deficit. Trivia is fun, but eat at home first.

We went in for dinner on a Thursday night. It was fairly dead. Really only one other table occupied when we walked in and I think 5 when we left. We didn't expect it to be busy so that was not a problem. The atmosphere was good I could see this being a great place on a game night but we went for dinner and were not happy. We ordered 2 mixed drinks the Mistress and the Grinch. The mistress was way too strong all alcohol but my date enjoyed the grinch drink. We order the pretzel to start, because that's hard to screw up right? Ehhh it was way over cook. Almost needed a steak knife to cut through the crust on it. I ordered French onion soup as well to start. Completely undercooked and so sweet. Onions were still almost raw and inedible. For dinner we ordered the Mac and Cheese topped with pulled pork and the brisket bolognese the images will be attached. The Mac and Cheese was grainy and very bland. And also came COVERED in crispy onions which was nowhere on the menu. Even covered in salt and pepper how it's pictured is how we left it. Not eaten. As for the brisket bolognese.... completely horrible. The "bolognese" was just creamy bbq sauce, and the meat was not cuttable or chewable. All gristle and fat. So horrible. It was also not eaten and left as pictured. For the $90 dinner for 2 people... we will not be returning or even recommending.

If you’re looking for a killer event experience, Old River is a great place to do it. From the manager Renee, to the staff, to the food, the whiskey selection, and the space itself, hosting Secret Society Comedy here was a blast and we can’t wait to come back.

This was the old Beachcliff Tavern. I love the improvements; opened the whole place up. Way roomier! Food was spot on delicious! The Old River burger was outstanding as well as the fish tacos. Everyone at our table (11 of us) thoroughly enjoyed their food. Service was excellent. Our server was available and attentive without being intrusive. What a difference from so many other places post pandemic. The only thing that I'd suggest is helping the acoustics out. It was loud once the place got rockin'. Definitely recommend.

We had a great experience there and the patio is lovely. I have to give them major props for customer service tonight. I didn’t like my food and they couldn’t have been nicer or more professional and accommodating. Maria and her manager were awesome! On top of that there was a rum special tonight and the rep or employee came out to our table to thank us for trying the promotional drink and thanked us with some nice swag. A lovely evening thanks to their customer service. :)

Spicy chicken sandwich was delicious if you like hot as I do. Fries were just as good as well as a heavy helping😋. Husband got the meatballs sub and loved it. And let's talk about our assistant, I do believe I heard him say his name was Ryan. He was hands down an amazing asset to the place. Definitely delicious. And we're definitely going back!

My wife and I are in town from Pittsburgh and found a spot to watch college football with a 5 star atmosphere and phenomenal food & drink selections. We decided to dig deep into the expresso martinis and man that was a phenomenal choice. Highly recommend and go Buckeyes!
