BEWARE:
I
decided
to
finally
seek
out
professional
help
in
coloring
my
hair
after
years
of
doing
it
myself.
Someone
suggested
I
go
to
Andrews
Colour
Atelier
at
Van
Aken
District.
I
made
an
appointment
for
a
consultation,
which
was
required,
and
the
owner,
Erin,
told
me
what
she
suggested
and
what
the
cost
would
be
for
the
services.
I
asked
what
it
would
cost
for
touching
up
my
roots
and
she
said
$45.
At
my
first
appointment
everything
was
perfect
until
I
went
to
pay
the
bill.
While
another
employee
was
washing
my
hair
twice
my
colorist
came
up
and
asked
if
I
wanted
conditioner
on
my
hair.
Of
course
I
do
since
she
just
washed
my
hair
twice
and
I
knew
I
needed
something.
So
she
told
the
employee
washing
my
hair
to
put
on
a
conditioner
and
leave
it
on
for
5
minutes.
I
don't
think
she
left
it
on
45
seconds
before
rinsing
it
out
and
the
shock
was
when
I
went
to
pay
my
bill
I
was
charged
$20
for
the
conditioner!!!
I
had
assumed
it
was
just
some
standard
product
not
an
up
charge.
Ok
live
and
learn.
Second
appointment
was
to
touch
up
the
roots.
I
had
the
same
colorist
and
when
it
was
time
to
pay
my
bill
it
was
NOT
the
$45
as
I
had
been
told
by
the
owner
but
over
$90
before
tip!!!
Ok-
still
learning
curve
but
asked
for
someone
in
training
who
charges
$45
for
touch
up
of
roots.
Now
I
am
on
my
third
appointment
yesterday
and
again
I
go
to
pay
my
bill
and
was
told
the
charge
was
$68!!!!!
Are
you
kidding
me!!!!!
I
explained
that
I
was
told
when
I
made
the
appointment
that
the
person
was
in
training
and
would
only
charge
$45.
The
person
at
the
front
desk
told
me
that
she
had
just
been
promoted
to
the
next
level
so
her
charge
for
my
service
went
up.
I
kindly
explained
that
since
I
received
2-3
text
messages
to
confirm
my
appointment
I
should
have
been
notified
about
the
cost
increase
before
the
appointment.
She
said
this
time
she
would
make
an
exception
and
I
was
only
charged
$45.
I
could
see
she
was
steaming
as
I
cancelled
my
next
appointment.
This
salon
is
in
a
great
location
but
needs
a
more
transparent
pricing
policy
and
desperately
needs
to
improve
their
customer
service!!!
