I enjoyed this creepy spot. Not many places scare me but this place has some sort of ominous feeling. Maybe is was the huge dead deer belly up in the pond. One of the first things I saw…. There is a restroom and several cool trails that are not difficult at all. Wasn’t busy at all when I got there. Just a couple men that left as soon as I pulled up.

I took the 4.6 mile Cave Spring trail at Devil's Well. It was a beautiful hike. There were many varieties of mushrooms along the path. The trail was nicely maintained other than one very large downed tree over the trail that seemed very freshly fallen.

The Devil's Well was a cool spot to visit, literally. On a hot day, it's a short walk to the "well" where the cold spring fed water can be felt cooling the air as you begin to descend the stairs into the well. The cave is accessible by trail, but we had already planned a float, so we saw it by kayaking in the following day. There's lots of intriguing information about the area on placards for your viewing as well.

Cool place to check out...literally, you will feel the cool air as you make your descent down the stairs to the closed off entrance. Highly recommend getting close and looking down to see the underground lake. Also, highly recommend taking the float from Akers to Pulltite so you can see the beautiful Cave Spring where Devils well flows into. (Cave Spring is last photo...this photo is not of Devil's Well.

Devil's well at the park is interesting and worth the visit but the hike out to The Cave Springs was amazing! It's a pretty good hike but the water is fresh and cool and beautiful and totally worth the time and the effort.

The devils is beautiful but cave spring is makes the drive well worth it beautiful blue spring that you can take a dip in . I recommend going if you like blue springs and are down for a road trip adventure.

Devils well is pretty cool but the cave is the thing to see. About a 5 mile round trip. Worth going on.
