Recently had my first experience of Shannon crematorium. A placeful place to pay last tributes to a loved one. It meets all the criteria, easy to park, lovely Chapel and facilities etc. However my one and only complaint is about the time slot allocated to a service. We arrived about 10 mins after scheduled time which is nothing unusual for a funeral and one travelling a distance and were rushed in to immediately commence service. Towards end of service we were told to leave the area immediately as another funeral was waiting to come in. It would have been nicer if we hadn't felt so rushed out of the place. I know it's a business but if it was my funeral, I would have wanted loved ones be able to stay a few minutes to mingle with the people who travelled the distances to be there.

I highly recommend Shannon Crematorium. Dara, the General Manager, was so professional, helpful and very kind to us, in a difficult moment of losing a loved one. We had a beautiful service for our baby Olivia. The crematorium is located in a beautiful and very quiet place, perfect to say goodbye and to bless your loved one in their journey to heaven. 🤍🤍

My mother-in-law passed away last week and Dara and Stacy from Shannon Crematorium could not have been more helpful to us. When we visited to see the chapel beforehand, Dara never rushed us, giving us time to see how we would like to arrange our home grown flowers etc at the top of the chapel. On the day of Kitty's service they were very helpful, waiting for us when we arrived, helping with guiding guests into the chapel and organised our music perfectly on cue, the service was live streamed and was watched by family members in UK and Germany and all found it to be very useful as they could not be with us on the day. I have no hesitation in recommending Shannon Crematorium.

I recently used the services of Shannon Crematorium to commemorate a loved family member. I must say that the General Manager, Dara , went above and beyond what would be expected in comforting and reassuring us in what was a very difficult time. Dara explained the service offered in great detail and his primary focus is supporting and comforting the bereaved family at all times. Dara, and his team showed my family great empathy ,professionalism, sensitivity , patience and support during what was a very difficult time for us . The attention to detail , the sensitivity of the setting , the music and the peacefullness of the chapel greatly assisted in creating a very special, commemorative, respectful occasion. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the services of Shannon Crematorium for commemorating a loved one ,as you and your loved one will be very well looked after. Thank you Dara.

We have been using Shannon Crematorium since it has opened, for the bereaved families we deal with who are looking to have their loved one cremated. Fiona, Darragh, Stacey and all of the team in Shannon are extremely professional and show complete compassion and care, in every aspect of their job. As a funeral director, I could not recommend Shannon Crematorium highly enough. They give an individualized, fitting tribute for your loved ones final journey.

A beautiful service, carried out with respect and dignity. The music, celebrant and organisation were all first rate. The location and view over The Shannon are both peaceful. Very sad times, but I would highly recommend.

Incredible experience, Dara is single handedly one of the most accomodating and supportive men I have ever met anywhere in the world. Beautiful Chapel in a tranquil place. Dara & celebrant Fr Michael made the whole experience a peaceful & lovely funeral for my late uncle Michael in September. Had to organise the funeral from the UK, although a small funeral with just 9 of us everyone at Shannon crem made it a very moving day.
