Lidl
is
where
I
do
most
of
my
shopping.
Overall
a
good
offering
of
products.
Prices
are
generally
very
good.
Sometimes
I'd
like
more
variety
but
it's
not
really
an
issue.
Some
staff
are
incredibly
friendly
and
helpful.
Although
I
notice
its
mostly
more
junior
and
younger
staff
who
make
more
time
for
customers.
It
might
suggest
a
company
culture
that
rewards
staff
who
are
more
focused
on
bottom
line
even
at
the
expense
of
customer
service.
The
lidl
plus
app
is
a
mixed
bag.
I've
noticed
sometimes
doesn't
work
on
products.
Often
products
listed
on
the
app
aren't
available
in
the
store
and
aren't
typically
sold
there.
The
app
does
make
lidl
even
better
value
for
money.
My
biggest
criticism
would
be
for
who
I
assume
is
one
of
the
managers.
He
has
been
there
years.
He
has
been
friendly
and
courteous
on
occasion
but
overwhelmingly
he
appears
very
rude.
When
he
serves
at
the
till
he
makes
no
attempt
to
speak
to
customers,
grunts
and
1
word
directions
to
get
customers
out
as
quick
as
possible.
He
also
has
a
habit
of
blocking
customers
on
aisles.
Yesterday
shopping
with
my
children
and
he
chose
to
block
the
end
of
the
aisle
where
we
were
trying
to
pass..
he
had
another
staff
member
park
a
2nd
pallet
beside
him
to
make
it
impossible
to
pass.
Both
men
completely
ignored
us
and
we
had
to
walk
to
the
other
end
of
the
aisle.
It's
a
small
detail
but
he
has
done
this
any
time
I've
ever
seen
him
over
the
past
5
or
6
years
in
the
shop.
By
Contrast
most
of
the
staff
have
more
common
courtesy
and
consideration.
This
man
alone
makes
me
score
Lidl
Shannon
3star
rather
than
4
(bordering
a
5star).
Overall
Lidl
is
a
major
asset
to
our
town
and
Ireland
but
the
ignorance
of
management
has
me
shopping
more
and
more
in
Ennis
and
Limerick
rather
than
locally.
