An amazing hospital my sister had something wrong and we didn’t know what it was and brought her to the Emergency. She was treated very fast and since by nurses who were so kind and caring. Receptionists were good and helpful! Nice quality room also.

Good hospital, helpful nurses, pretty good doctors.. until this point everything goes smooth.. when it comes to pharmacy all these good impressions just dies there. I haven’t seen such unorganized pharmacy in the whole UAE. Don’t have enough staffs to cater the volume of patients. Waisted 30-45 minuted and still had about 8 people ahead of me. Finally decided to take it out. The management has to take some serious actions here Update as of 10th Nov: On 1 st November i gave my contact details as per the below reply from the handle owner.. he assured someone will contact me. Sadly even after 10 days no one bothered to address the issue.

Pharmacy is not following any process to get approval from insurance companies to provide medicines. We have waited for 1 hour and still our medicines are not sent for approval. How can a patient wait for more than 1 hour just get medicines? Being a big hospital, they should have some proper process for the same. Do not recommend it for anyone who want emergency services.

The best hospital in Sharjah The service is outstanding The hospital has a very unique nursing stuff who are truly very helpful, kind and emotionally give the support the patients need. I had my c-section delivery over there with Dr Kranti, who was very professional and did my operations in a very efficient way. I have attached some photos for the room I was admitted at which is clean, spacious. The room service team are amazing, the nutrition doctors did perfect job too. Highly recommend it

I have some concerns about my last visit in your hospital, we trust your hospital and completely depend on you for our health. But the last visit was not as we expected, it was pathetic. Would like to discuss in detail because we don't want another patient to feel like we experienced on that day. believe me it was horrible and we got insulted by the doctor. Department we visited on that day was dermatology and We walked in to the hospital after confirming doctor availability, we completed all payment and documentation and approached to meet doctor. We waited more than 30 minutes for the doctor, after a long waiting doctor called us, my partner started explaining the concern. Before finishing the details doctor is asking us "for these issues which started 2 years before you here in this busy time and wasting my time?" OMG We was stuck, then she was very aggressive with us, insulted my partner and I kept my patience. We need management interference in this matter and no one else should face this kind of bad behavior from any of the doctor. Other than this hospital facilities is very appreciative and other staffs was very kind and supportive. I need to speak to someone from your management team on priority please.

The nurse and doctor functions are excellent, but the pharmacy is of very poor quality in terms of customer service. Yesterday evening, we took a system token and began waiting from evening 21:40 to 22:40 to receive a call from the pharmacy counter. However, no one informed us. At that time, we approached the counter and asked the staff at the counter. He advised us to wait for a short period of time and collected our information. Within 15 minutes, the request was approved by the insurance company and the medicine was released. I am unaware of the type of process that has been followed in their pharmacy, as well as the token numbers that have not moved from the beginning. All of the ground assistants are advising each and every individual to wait for their tokens to reflect on the system. This approach is not only confusing but also nonprofessional. Assuming that the management team reading this message does not copy paste the routine text and closes the message. If you truly intend to make your hospital a great choice for customers, you should really focus on providing excellent customer service. Otherwise, I believe most of them will prefer to go to other hospitals nearby.

I will not even give them a single star because of the slow process. Once you are into the hospital don't expect that you can leave in less than 3 hours. And then the insurance department staff will make you repent on your visit. And wait finally don't trust what they tell you, as they are cheating the customers with more payment on account of Co payments. Imagine my insurance had approved all my medicines and they are telling me that 1 medicine is not approved and were even trying to charge me above that item. Above all if you want to make a complaint about anything plz don't bother to think about because the complaint section/room is always empty and you will end up thinking to forget about the case and first register complaint about the complaint section but then question is to whom.............. Last . Have you ever seen any hospital asking you to make payment for registration?

Very very very bad experience of pharmacy ,,,no organized way ,,,no proper management,,,no preference for pregnant,mother with infants,,elderly,,,,,very messy system and management is also sleeping.Better to go some other hospitals,,,it’s taking hours to get the medicine

The care provided by the doctors and nurses to me as first time mom was exceptional. As well as the doctor and the NICU staffs who took good care of my child until discharge. Also training for lactation/breast feeding with full patience to teach us first time moms was an experience. I want to share my appreciation to all the staff; the doctors, nurses, the housekeeping, food attendant and all the personnel who are part of Zulekha.

Good hospital. Bit expensive but doctors are really good. One annoying thing noticed is there is no proper queue systems for pharmacy and appointment to doctor. We can see always some tricky guys take advantage of this. It would be great if they can improve it

Dr. Ahmed Nabil is an amazing person. He is very professional, friendly and well experienced doctor. He did the circumcision for my twins, who are just 2 years old with ultra care and perfection. All the procedures were very well explained and all went really well. Also the hospital staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the process. I firmly recommend Dr. Ahmed Nabil and Zulekha Hospital.

Had a very painful experience at Zulekha Sharjah. From the Front Desk team, the Doctor, to the pharmacists. None of them seemed to empathize, the tone of voice was just rude and disrespectful. The waiting period was very high, for the insurance approval it took more than one hour and then waiting at the pharmacy counter it took more than 30 minutes. The Doctor just said 1-2 lines and typed a few things into the system, seemed like she was least bothered. People are unwell and that's why they come to the hospital, the least you could do is speak with some respect. This is not a charity service, we are paying for it. So please respect that.I do not recommend this hospital to anyone.

Doctors are good. Administrative staff is really really slow, takes 15 minutes for registration of single patient easily. Call center is providing wrong information and giving appointment for doctor and when you reach hospital they tell you doctor is on leave for 15 days. Recently, they have started 10 aed valet parking fee which os so pathetic and greedy. Hospitals are the one who earned most during pandemic still the level of greed is that they need 10aed for valet parking now even from patients, not only visitors. What a shame

My visit to the hospital was very successful. The staff was very helpful and cooperative. The front desk personnel, Ola, was very helpful and professional. Ola went out of her way to make sure my husband gets the treatment and medical attention he needs.

We have been using zulehka hospital for years, recently the hospital service has come down miserably, We have been pediatric emergency and the nurse and staffs have informed us to open the file without accepting the child, an emergency dept need to act immediately with quick response, also earlier for medicines we need to wait for hours… they won’t give insurance claim to take medicines from outside pharmacies even we are dying with pain.

I came in as an emergency patient and I was admitted instantly. The doctors, the nurses, the cleaners and the caterers, all did a wonderful job. Everything was harmonious. I stayed for 3 days. The care, love and positivity radiating from the staff was wonderful. Shout out to all the 9th floor staff!

From our OB Dr Hend to all the doctors who help her, nurses, cleaners and security, all the staff i can say is they are friendly, simple words like CONGRATULATIONS AND DONT WORRY from the security and cleaning staff helps while i was waiting for my wife's delivery. Nice and clean place. Great job everyone!

this hospital has a good service, they are very accommodating, they will attend what you need and assists you always.

Please check your hospital BILLS properly from this hospital before you make the payment. They are charging patients CO payment on the fees where CO payment has already been deducted and also on the fees, which is not even covered by the insurance. On top of it, they completely deny it. I'm going to report this to the higher authorities. They think they can get away with others' money.

We felt the warm feelings and assistance from the nurses and all the staff. There is no words to describe how much you Drs & nurses are doing well and made us happy 😃. Very Very bad experience..If there is aaa option for zero rating, it should have given that. For taking a Corona test, I had to wait 5 hours and still it didn't get done.. Only two staffs at Main reception..I had waited 2 hours for my turn. Just before my token, they suddenly shifted the token counter from main reception to Emergency center reception..Again I had to wait 1 hour to make the registration. After registering for the test and making payment, they didn't start taking the swab, they told me there are no staffs and all are on emergency duty..they asked me to leave if i can not wait. I waited again 2 hrs, still the test didn't start..Finally I cancelled my payment and went to another center for taking the test and they got it done in 5 minutes. Not sure why this hospital is conducting corona test in emergency ward. They are not thinking that patients in emergency ward will get infected with Corona, if they do like this.. And there is no safety here..They made me wait in a small corridor containing 100s of people who came for Corona test..Before that they made me wait in main reception..What if there was a Covid positive person there in the crowd..?

In the hospital now came for PCR test stood for 1hour 20 min in the queue. 2 nureses sitting and doing paper work filling in names as per them they need to send tl DHA. Once the payment is done details taken once form printed and people are jumping on each other to get Covid19 test. A small alley corridor where 25-30, People standing. And if one is positive all get infected. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL CHOOSE OTHER HOSPITALS PAY MORE GET THE JOB DONE. Experience was over expectation. staff icluding doctors, front office and nursea are cooperative, well trained with very good communication skills. My father who needs special age attention needed to do eyes cataract surgery. I was very satisfied with the spcialized and specific diagnostic analysis requested prior to do the surgery Which showed special attention to standardized precaution measures. Cleanness of all the facilities was 5 stars, deep periodical sanitization were taking place. Prices are expensive but less than competitors. Over all, they deserve 5 stars

All the Doctors are really good and staff is very nice, but the only annoying part in the hospital is Pahrmacy and how they operate. I am sure they are still using 90's technology as all other big hospital have very efficient pharmacy system where you don't have to wait for 1 hour to get the Medican. I hope the hospital will look seriously into pharmacy department improvement as it is making the overall experience really worse. The best hospital in the sharjah

Clean hospital but, In this bad situations you can find sanitizers everywhere even in the small grocery shop but for some reason there were no sanitizers in this hospital. All sanitizer machines in the corredors were empty, even the one in my room was empty as well. I even told the staff to refill it because it’s empty and they didn’t. The staff was so slow and they does not communicate with each others at all, i had to take my pressure/weight/height in every floor i go to. They completely lack communication between each others. I asked for an ice bag to relief the pain and they brought a hot one for me, when i asked for different cold one the nurse said they have only one ice bag in the whole hospital which is the one they gave to me that wasn’t cold, so the nurse took it and put it in the refrigerator and gave it back to me after 2 hours (5 min before i leave the hospital). And the manager of the hospital was so rude when we asked him about the sanitizers.

The hospital had become very bad in service and poor system , even many departments are not answering their phones moreover during the pandemic they are like usual still giving you papers to sign, for insurance approvals and cashier stamps you (patient who supposed to be sick) have to go back to ground floor to do that and go back to the department where you are , The hospital shall try to update their system, procedures and replace their customer service & call center team (useless specially watsapp service)

They did my UNSUCCESSFUL operation of eyes and throw me out of hospital even Doctor Arif Adenwala has been run away from hospital. They are just interested in earning money from insurance, not taking care of decease. People! My advice to take second, third opinions from different doctors before going for any operation.

This hospital billed me in excess of what I should have paid. I should have paid max AED 100 for treatment as I have insurance but they cheated by making 2 separate Bill's for the same day and overcharged me by AED 244.72. Now they are making excuses for the refund. Shame on them, They are spoiling the good name of Dr. Zulekha Dawood.

I was totally disappointed on my first visit to this hospital .. 😞 First of all the Entrance from the main road aide is closed and there is direction to go the main entrance which is almost in 180 degrees from this entrance s, hence you have to walk and take a shower of sweat dur to the hot weather. Next step was waiting for several minutes while receptionist was typing something and finally announced that I have to pay a registration charges in additional to the doctor fees which totally shocked me consider that I have a member ship card from the Dubai branch !!! Now I will go to Dubai branch, not because of some money .. just because of the principles.

Always have to wait for atleast an hour extra in the hospital even for a regular check up. No matter how early you come before the appointment. Its so difficult especially when kids are not well. Doctors are really good. You should really look into how to make the administration part quicker for patients

Very poor service. Some staff behaviour like talking with beggars. No coordination between doctors and nurses. Even you have all the papers you need to go to doctor many times to request for coordinate with nurses to start I V fluid. Nurses asking we didn't receive any call from doctor to proceed.

Modern, clean and quality services

One of the best hospital which built with utmost concern to assess one's physical health and to treat the sick or injured in outstanding manner. Not only they are equipped with modern technologies or instrument but they are also staffed with professional and great employees. In Zulekha Sharjah patients are treated with excellent care.

The only thing this hospital is great at is the lake of respect for the timing. The staff so cold and everywhere no one to do their job, you will come for 2-3 hours easily to do a blood test or follow up with a doctor! Not to mention the rudness of the staff if you asked where is the rest of the staff. The only way I see this hospital that can improve is by closing !

Doctors are really Good and supportive but when it comes to nurses they have hired new staff, the biggest challenge for them is to put cannula. My daughter was admitted there for 1 week and that week was not less than a nightmare. Highly not recommended for admission to avoid pain for your loved one

I ask for fast track service and I didn't regret. Literally, I saw the doctor, did X-ray and went back to the doctor in less than 20 minutes and I wait for the medicine around 10 minutes or less until they got the approval from the insurance. Really it's a great service

I never seen such a worst hospital in my 13 yrs of UAE life. I think those staff and that particular gynaecologist Sandhya should have go through management trainings...I am strongly recommend to management take a necessary actions towards their behaviors also they took almost 3 days to provide blood results and rest.. this 1 star also not even worth of it.

Just want to express my gratitude to the whole nursing and cleaning team, our Dr. They made our stay (my son had to be admitted with pneumonia) on 17-18 January, 2024 so much less stressful. They have been so thoughtful and accommodating. Ms. Thushara kept our room spotless and my son was getting better under constant supervision of numerous nursing staff. Great hospital. Dear Team, I have visited ur sharjah hospital on 04/06/2020 for intermediate chest pain.. Ur team straight away admitted me in emergency dept after a proper admission.. Without any initial query they done egc and blood checkup and they said to wait 2hrs.. After 2 hrs doctor came and said that ur heart function very fine u can go home... I asked to doctor clearly then what is the solution for pain, he said that i dono ur heart function is ok ... u can contact some other specialist... How i know for this pain to whom i have to meet? I know only the pain u are the responsibilities to diagnose the problem.. After big argument with relationship officer they said again make payment for some other doctor.. y should do multi payment... payment is secondary till now I didn’t get proper solution from ur send , still im suffering that pain.. In my life ever seen this kind of pathetic treatment... ill escalate this to insurance company as well ill escalate to sharjah medical authorities... No humanity thanks lot..

Good Hospital and good doctors

I was admitted for 3 days and they have the worst service ever, there was no sanitizers available at all, not even for nurses and doctors, nurses kept on touching my newborn with out changing gloves, nobody used sanitizers or washed hands, not even doctors. Lactation nurses were so impatient and rude. They charged almost 25000 dirhams for this very very bad service, highly disappointed. I ll also launch a complaint with municipality for the unhygienic services specially in this pandameic

I went for a consultation for plastic surgery and it was useless tbh . I didn’t see before and after pictures because Dr Sonali told me she forgot her laptop after i aske her for it. She told me she would show me pictures at the day of the surgery.!!!.. how am I gonna trust her Waste of money

Not a hospital I would recommend for pregnancy and delivery. Husbands are not allowed to be with the wife while she delivers - definitely recommend some major policy changes. Also staff needs some PR training.

Today I visited this hospital. The hospital is very neat and clean. Also complying all the safety precautions due to current pandemic. Staff's are very polite and caring especially in gynecology department. They're very systematic in booking appointments, registration, consultation, insurance approvals etc.. But one problem I noted is that there's no sanitizers anywhere inside the hospital for patient's. They have installed sanitization points mainly for staff which are inside the counters for staff access. Requesting concerned authorities to install sanitizing points for patients and public mainly in common areas like near to elevators billing counters, common corridors etc... which will be more helpful especially during this pandemic..

Its the worst we waited 1 h/10 min after the appointment and we didnt see the doctor and we wanted a refund that took us forever employe are all rounders no mangers the doctors are mangers its so messy plus no hygiene , alveolar more than the capacity they request things that is just to collect from the insurance money its the worst experience not not recommended at all .

Very nice, professional, clean and friendly hospital. I was actually pleasantly surprised! The staff are friendly everywhere you go and there is a quiet and nice atmosphere somehow.

It's very sad the nurses and security guards dont have much information about the hospital (especially regarding covid-19) and where to send people in need. I am standing on my 3rd hospital (al wasit health center) as one of the nurse told me to go and get the test, unfortunately here again the are telling me another story to go to Sharjah health center after 3 days on Sunday when the offices are open.? What a service!

I admitted my daughter under case number IP00153970 for infection. She was dealt totally non professionally did patched up treatment. Doctor went on holidays without handing over case to his replacement. We had to explain every time to every one. TOTALLY unprofessional. Finally I got her operated in another hospital and within 2 days she is recovering. Billing does not mach with what they treat. I can prove it in documents

This is one of the worst hospitals ever , dont be fooled by the nice building . I’ve been to the hospital several times over the years and everytime they managed to disappoint me , but this time they crossed all the lines , i took an appointments to check my self with the doctor and to make “Covid-19 “ test i arrived 30min before my appointment and had to wait for “ 2 HOURS MORE “ to be able to see the doctor and then she informed me we dont have the test or we dont do it randomly.. I informed her that my father tested positive and your call center told me you do it . “ then she approved to make it “ I had to wait for “ 2 HOURS MORE “ for a someone to be free to do the test . Which didn’t happen They told me to return in the evening and then they could make it for me right away I returned to the hospital after 4 hours and had to wait again for almost 2 more hours to get tested . In the middle of the night, we rushed to the emergency of Zulekha because my son had a spike fever and vomitting. The ER nurses were very great as they respond quickly..they immediately do some lab test and swab test... thankful to my son's doctor- Dr. Alikaja and also Dr. Prashant who made sure that everything will be fine. Because of the dehydration, doctor Alikaja decided to admitted my son and make sure he will have the right medication. Doctors are good listener they made sure they will get all the information about my son's condition. Nurses (Inpatient department) who took care of son were great. I really like the way how they handled my son's condition (Autism), time to time they checked his body temp specially in the middle of the night, they made sure I am also had enough rest while they are taking care of my son.They are checking the arms or the canulla make sure its not swollen. Very Respectful Nurses all of them 🤗. The dietecian visited us everyday and asked if we have a special request for my son to make sure that he will eat the food.. I like the lady who served the food my son, she's very respectful eventhough she's wearing mask, I know she's smiling as I can see her eyes -smiling- :). I visited hospital regarding delivery package. 1. Parking is behind hospital so you may not see it first time 2. Hospital is clean and new 3. Staff are polite and helpful and explained everything as much as they could 4. Packages at first sight seems to be reasonable but you need : at least 3 visits prior to delivery, unlike other hospital packages no medication is included for mother and baby and other charges were very high It was shared room And package price was quite high in comparison to other so in best case in normal delivery with 7k package you'll have at least 3k more to pay

When we reached to the emergency that time we needed an urgent support because it was our first time there and we received good support and caring from an Arabic admin lady who helped us and was with us through all the time until we finished... Worst experience with Pharmacy Services and IM department. Receptionist/ Doctors are missing after 9 pm. Receptionist registers patients for doctor(s) who is busy in emergency. Earlier Pharmacy Services were excellent but new IT system is pathetic and dispensing has become a nightmare. It doesn't take that much time with the doctor than taking medications from pharmacy.

Extremely professional attitude by Dr. Sirar Alali (Specialist pediatrician) along with the nurses and the driver who made us feel comfortable and encouraged to fight against an ongoing pandemics. Any institution having staffs like Dr. Sirar is a blessing for both - Hospital and Patients. TERRIBLE COVID testing management. They have people who just need a test for traveling waiting with people who are coughing and with a fever. NO social distancing. I brought a family member who needs a paper certificate for traveling back to her home and I was VERY uncomfortable bringing her here. Management please do something about this. My wife Visited the 1st floor for IV drip . once completed asked for water , simple enough request i thought. I was instructed to go to the next corridor washroom and help myself even though I am pregnant and facing difficulties. Not what I would expect from a major hospital, considering even the local barbers shops in shj offer u a bottle of water as you enter! Maybe discuss simple manners with your staff to improve patient experience. Was considering using this hospital for a major procedure but definitely not after this simple request was handled.

Yesterday i visited the emergency department with my husband Ahmed Mubeen . All the services provided by the nurses were good. However , I'm writing this review for Dr Sajad Ali Mohammed , who came to see my husband and suggest we do a CT scan for his stomach pain . It was not his suggestion but rather his way of speaking and body language that bothered us very much . There was no sense of professionalism , and he kept insisting we make a decision fast cause he is very busy . On top of that he was just leaning on his chair with legs crossed out and bouncing the chair while speaking to us and urging us to hurry up in deciding or not . I mean i believe the way a doctor communicates with the patience is very critical and says a lot about his ethics . At the end we decided not to go forward with the scan solely due to his communication which was very demeaning .

Zulekha Sharjah used to be a great hospital. Doctors and staff are still trying their hard to cater but I guess that they are too much burdened. Waiting time has gone up to an average 40 minutes, even in lean hours. The management seems to be more interested in peripherals and infrastructure at the cost of maintaining good staff.

Zulekha has been assisting us in tough times. Several medical emergencies for our family has been attended with utmost care and quality. Couple of grey areas if done could make this even better: 1) some of the doctors push you for admission/ procedures even though it is not needed. For eg: for minor stomach infection of my kid, doctor advised for admission and since we were assertive, he said not needed. 2) pharmacy waiting time is too high. If you are lucky, you can get away in 30 minutes. If not try returning back aft an hour or so !

The reason I am writing a review is because i got a text message saying thanks for reviewing us but I never did. Went to see a gynaecologist who gave me a scare for no reason. She was in a rush to go for an emergency surgery and i clearly told the nurse im ok to see another doctor if the doctor is busy or needs to be somewhere. The reception is very slow. The people who work there have no courtesy even to say Hi or Hello let alone smile. They told me that my medication is not covered under insurance but they never even applied for an approval. Theres a lot more but hospitals are usually disappointing its always better to visit a clinic where people actually care.
