I absolutely love this place, a great place to spend time at when the weather is good. You have to get separate tickets for entry to the butterfly house, the prices are very reasonable for adults and children and the lady there (sadly I didn’t get her name but I’ve met her twice in my two separate visits) is extremely helpful and informative. Outside the butterfly room there’s a little area for kids to draw and color, while their parents can keep an eye on them and enjoy a coffee at the al noor cafe. The staff at al noor cafe are super friendly and helpful. And the food is quite good! The island is completely different at night time, so go in the afternoon and stay until after sunset to really enjoy beautiful lighting and sights. There are various art installations, monuments and a beautiful variety of plants and trees to admire. The bathrooms are clean and also designed beautifully. Tickets are valid for the whole day so even if you leave you can come back the same day as long as it’s within working hours on the island. I think this place is definitely one of my favorite places in Sharjah.

This is like a hidden gem in the middle of Sharjah. I think this place is underrated. It's a very beautiful, lush green small island. You need a ticket to go in. Aed 50 for adults and 30 for kids. Ticket is expensive 😜. Inside you will find a tiny butterfly garden, the great walk through the lush green scenary, a water facing swing to take photos, a trampoline walk, kids playground, a maze, and a lot beautiful places to take pictures. It is open till 11 pm. It took us 2 hours to explore everything. Better you go 1 hour before sunset. So that you can rome around and you will also get to see the evening time with colorful lights on and a wonderful sound of lot of birds chirping. It was nice.

Amazing architecture ✨ beautiful garden 🪴 great in good weather ☁️ but the butterfly room was not worth paying 15DH more than the entrance fee which is 35Dh it should include in the main ticket✨✨

What a relief right in the middle of the city. Birds chirping and cool breeze by the shades are such an unwinding experience. The butterfly house was a nice experience.

With 100 years old trees, 35 million years old fossil rock tree, 300 million years old crystals, and many other attractions, this place is amazing. Playing with the multi-colored butterflies within the Butterfly house was fun filled activity for the whole family. I found it amazing to walk among hundreds of butterflies. You can easily hold these butterfly and play with it. The Noor cafe was also fabulous. Mark, the manager of Noor Cafe, was really helpful in giving us a brief about Al Noor island. The overall vibe of Noor cafe was amazing. Just outside the Noor café, there is a huge sitting area with lots of portable AC (outside), which is fantastic during hot summer days. We ordered tea, coffee, hot chocolates, plain cheese cake, chocolate muffins, Granola bars and can confirm that the quality of the food was amazing. Al Noor island also have few other activities like family swing area facing the sea. Moreover, my kid had fun jumping in the long trampoline area. Walking around island with granaries all around was quite refreshing for the whole family. We spent three hours of quality time in this island. We are looking forward to be back here again during winter.

This beautiful island is by Majaz corniche. It’s peaceful and serene. It has many beautiful parts and sections to keep you occupied all day long. There is À meditation section, it has a book club, there different kind of games within, and for me the major plus was a butterfly hatchery with butterflies from different countries some not hatched yet while others are hatched already. You can see butterflies taking their first ever fly as they are newly hatched, feels surreal. I had fun, recommend and would visit again. Tickets are only sold at the gate of the Island.

Entrance is amazing with the mosque view. Unfortunately when I visited the butterflies were not there. But its a one time visit place. You will see some good trees which they brought other counties. Take the map and visit every single place mentioned.

Great place for a children day out.. The butterflies room is amazing! 😍 And a good sized outside area to spend some time.. Definitely recommend 👌.. Would say it is way to hot in summer and children cant enjoy the outdoor activities, so check weather before planning your visit..

Beautiful island with interesting sights. Totally family friendly ❤. You can take your time and take yourself on a tour as its a very small island. There's a very decent washroom available, staff are professional and friendly. Also a Cafe to relax if the weather is too hot for you and Don't forget to visit the butterflies and learn about their habitat.

I've been to Noor Island in the morning and evening and definitely prefer the morning, quieter vibes. This place has a magical feel to it and you'll be able to see lots of nature plus art installations. The cafe is decent but I love the gift shop. Butterfly Garden, Swing and Cacti Garden are musts!

A bit overpriced, but enjoyed the greenery. Well maintained. Small bottle water is AED5.😁 AED 35 for entry per person AED 15 extra per person to visit butterfly garden. The people are very helpful and knowledgeable, the guy at the butterfly garden showed us and explained how butterfly are born.(which we learn in school, here you can see the states)

The place is smaller.. much smaller than I expected, however a decent one to visit. The place has some lovely greenery and the horticulture dept has taken some effort to deck up the place. The place lights up in the evening and is more colorful. The butterfly park inside is pretty average but good that it was free when we visited. The entry cost is AED 35 for adults and AED 20 for kids. Ample parking available. The corniche area outside was too good .. a big park for people to just chill n walk ( no bbq ) . Kids enjoyed playing there. Overall do not expect too much from the place.. but decent for an evening visit.

Ticket charges Adults: AED 50 Kids 3-12 years: AED 30 Child 0-3: Free Nice place to visit with family.. Ticket charges are ok because it's really nice place and beautifully maintained. My kids enjoyed a lot ... Really worthy for the price 😀 There is nothing better than finding yourself amid uninterrupted nature. Just breathe and feel the surroundings engulf you in their freshness. Al Noor Island in Sharjah is home to more than 70,000 plants and trees. Each greenery element on the island has been carefully selected to create landscapes as unique as Noor Island itself. Night life Noor Island is often termed as enchanted. While its lush landscapes, awe-inspiring art installations and abundance of nature play their part, it is actually the bright display of LED lights at night that truly make the place seem whimsical. As the sun goes down, the island comes alive with bright neons, twinkling fairy lights and luminescence that lights up trees, walkways, art installations, buildings and even the bridge. Catching this stunning display is one of the unmissable things to do in Al Noor Island. Noor cafe For those of you who would like to grab a quick bite while touring through Al Noor Island, the Noor Café has just the menu to cater to that. With its healthy selection of refreshing beverages and delicious snacks, the café provides you with a naturally lit, spacious seating arrangement to enjoy a good meal. At night, this quaint little place transforms into a luminarium with bright interiors and warmly lit furniture to set the mood for a great evening.

The children enjoyed interacting with the beautiful butterflies. There were things like athletics and trampolines on the island's promenade, and I enjoyed it leisurely. We spent an hour or two. It's a good idea to spend a relaxing time in the evening.

Al Noor Island is a beautiful place that offers a much-needed respite from the city noise. The Island is well-maintained and provides a serene environment to enjoy nature’s beauty. However, I would recommend visiting on weekdays as the weekends can get quite crowded and noisy, which can take away from the relaxing experience. One of the highlights of Al Noor Island is the butterfly house, which is a must-visit attraction. It’s a unique and enchanting experience to walk amongst the beautiful butterflies and even touch them. It’s a shame that the place was packed with kids and too crowded to spend more time there, but the experience of seeing the butterflies hatching and feeding was still fantastic. Although the butterfly house is a fantastic experience, it would have been more enriching if there were labels or signs that displayed the name or kind of each butterfly. This would have provided visitors with valuable educational information and made the experience more interactive and engaging. However, even without the labels, it’s still a great experience to see the butterflies up close and observe their unique colors and patterns. The island provides a wonderful opportunity to learn about the natural world and appreciate the beauty of these creatures. Overall, Al Noor Island is a beautiful and relaxing place to visit, and the butterfly house is a real standout attraction. With or without labels, it’s an enchanting experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who visits.

The place is very nice. Tickets are a bit costly considering that visiting this place takes about one hour only, especially if you go there with your family. Would recommend to include in basic ticket free coffee, juice or water at the cafe. Then it would be a five star attraction.

I went here a year back, I can't remember when exactly. But it was a beautiful experience. I have enjoyed the breakfast in the small cafe and the butterfly area (I can't remember the name). There's a lot of areas to explore, surprisingly. There's lots of trees, and some parts of it you'll have a view of the beach. I've loved that it is a mixture of modern vibes and nature. The sitting areas and the washroom are clean and well-maintained, too! There's a relaxing atmosphere and I have explored the area well because there were fewer people when we came. A lot of reading activities are there also (reading of the signboards, etc), historical information. If you have kids, this is the place to go. Do you want a peaceful environment inside the city? You should come here. Is it for free? Definitely no. We paid about 60 aed per person, if I can remember. All in all, this place is highly recommended. Way to go, Sharjah!

Good place to spend some time. We went during evening close to sunset and hence we saw both day and night views of island. Views are stunning particularly during evening ...particularly around corniche area. Cactus garden is fine and the birds sound during evening is good naturalistic. Only piece of advice - please skip butterfly garden if you have already visited the one in dubai. Here hardly any varieties and most of the butterflies are physically challenged due to physical handling of visitors:)

Nice place to visit if you stay nearby. Expensive when it comes to cafe and even butterfly park it's not worth the cost. Good thing is to get to see the cactus garden inside.

Delightful, especially around the evening. Skip the butterfly garden and just enjoy the great variety of flora, and the serene walk. Make sure you hold out till dark or leave before sundown, otherwise you’ll have a hard time dodging bird droppings.

Wow, Spectacular,Amazing place. Greenery everywhere, You’ll find Some unique trees, plants and some rare fossils on the go. Wonderful sea view with swing chair and Some archifacts to take a picture. It’s definitely suits for photoshoot then I’ve to mention, wow those beautiful metallic blue butterflies I’ve never seen before (on butterfly house). One request guys: This place is full of green and clean. Please don’t pollute the place, We’ve carried the things for hours, after use carry more for five minutes to throw it in dustbin. I’ve seen a plastics and water bottles on grounds but for first time I’ve seen a empty water bottle hanging on a tree.
