Fantastic park! This is such a great place for picnics, large gatherings, walks in nature and play dates. Close proximity to Weaterville and lots of beautiful scenery and wildlife. A nice place to hold scout troop events, parking is easy to find and the playgrounds are well maintained.

Visiting in the AM makes for a beautiful walk! There are 6 trails (paved & unpaved) - 3 under 1 mile and the rest 1 mile+. The longest trail is the Multipurpose Trail (3.8 miles) which loops around the park. I visit first thing in the AM, leave by 8, and the trails aren't heavily trafficked. Another plus about taking a morning walk here is all of the wildlife you see, like deer, squirrels, and bunnies. One morning I saw more than ten bunnies within 30 minutes. Sharon Woods is great because you have multiple trails to choose from, making each visit unique. Visit during sunrise, you won't be disappointed!

It's a great park. Very large and lots of walking trails. Play sets are scattered around the park. The small lake was fun for the kids to throw rocks and sticks into. The natural play erea is a lot of fun as well. I come to the Columbus area about once a year and will definitely visit the park every time.

One of the larger of the Columbus Metro Parks. The multipurpose path that circles around most of the park has been repaved and is mostly easy with some sections moderate. There are other trails that go through the nature preserve.Schrock Lake is decent size and is good for fishing. Some of the other attractions are multiple shelter houses, playground equipment, open green areas, sledding hills, restrooms and plenty of parking.

One of my favorite parks in Central Ohio. Plenty of space open. Great walking and bike paths. Great places to cook out, sitting on the shelters and do whatever you want. It is a safe place. Rangers are always driving through. If you're speeding, they will stop you. If you're speeding on your bike on the bike path, they will stop you. If you don't stop at a stop sign, whether you're driving right in your bike, they will stop you so it's a pretty safe place. I thoroughly enjoy it. Plenty swings for kids and a lot of open space. There's a pawn there if you want to fish or just sit out and look at the water. It's a very, very nice quiet place. Driving and parking is easy and you can access the park if you're walking or riding a bike off of schrock road through the entrance off of the road.

Lovely park with lots of trails for hiking and one 3.8 mile path for biking. Some paved. Some unpaved. Natural play area to explore and have fun in the woods off trail. A free maim-and-release fishing lake. A jewel in the city. Visit the forest without leaving town! Drinking fountains and rest rooms with flush toilets. Nice playgrounds for little kids. A lovely trail through the woods is available for you to walk your dog. Free catch-and-release fishing

This has always been one of my favorite parks to visit in Columbus, regardless of season. The stark beauty of a sunny, late Winter day, the initial bursting forth of foliage in the Spring, the fullness of lush green in the Summer, and the awesome colors of Fall can all be experienced via the park's multiple paths, especially the 3.8 mile PAVED (Thank you!!), multipurpose one that effectively circumnavigates much of the sizable acreage they offer. A pristine lake is on the property as well. Can get busy, but still presents plenty of opportunities for serenity and solitude or group fellowship, picnic shelters, biking, and walking/jogging/running.

This is an oasis within the city. Ample trails, great views, lots of wildlife. I personally go here a few times a month to walk and get lost on the trails a bit. Highly recommend.

This is one of the famous park in the Columbus and Westerville area. This one is on Cleveland avenue and opposite to st Ann’s hospital. Sharon woods is very near to 270 interstate. The park is big and has beautiful lake. There are multiple shelters along the length of the park with different sections. The parking spots are plenty just need to choose your good locations. They have some shuttle inside on few summer and fall days for few activity rides. It’s fun park for one day weekend gateway and outdoor parties.

Similar to Blendon Woods playground but has 2 more slides, a swing set and larger small kids play set with a bee theme. 16 foot high adventure tower with multiple paths and challenge levels that link to cobra slides, climbers and a rope tunnel! Stand alone merry go round and slide/climbing area for younger children. Several benches, grills, and bathroom. This playground area does get very busy.

A very nice and expansive park. It is much larger than I expected. There are several playgrounds, multiple shelters and the pond is a very nice bonus. It looks well maintained and is popular for joggers and walkers.

Excellent park, w tons of paths, trails, picnic areas, grills, playgrounds, fishing and a large picturesque pond. We walk here pretty often and it's typically much less crowded than Highbanks.

This park seems very well maintained. Some very manicured areas as well as undisturbed wildlife areas. Plenty of trails but my family wasn't prepared for them the day we took photos. We enjoyed the open, mowed field and playground area for our 3 year old. There was a good variety for him to play on. It was very nice!!

Beneath a sky of azure hue, A tranquil lake reflects the day anew. Bare branches whisper tales of yore, By the quiet dock, nature’s peace to implore.

This park is beautiful, the trails we walked were clean and well maintained. There are plenty of picnic tables and shaded grass areas. We saw covered group areas and multiple playgrounds as well. Not all of the trails allow dogs, but there are also cycling trails with space for runners or walkers. We had a lovely time, one of the better parks which are close to my home.

Awesome park for inside-the-270 hiking trails, family gatherings, light fishing (catch & release) and walking your dog companion. You might even meet the occasional turtle!

Beautiful park, easy to navigate and the walking trails are really nice. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables throughout and nice playgrounds for kids. Most of the trails are very short (less than a mile) but one or two are longer. Very well kept with grass maintained and very clean. There is a small lake with picnic tables for a pretty view.

Really nice Columbus Metro Park with lots of trails, rentable shelters and picnic areas. Shrock Lake is one of the centerpieces with lots of water fowl, fishing and canoe slips. Good nice of woodlands and meadows throughout the park. Nice for a short visit or an all day affair.
