Always enjoy there food. Good atmosphere if you want a drink or dine with the family.. I usually get a burger which are made with good local beef. My family's favorite is still the fried cauliflower. We do take out alot but either way the staff has always been great.

Found this place while travelling for work. Went everyday we were in the area. Good sandwiches. Their cheesesteak is awesome and I liked their new chicken sandwich too. Kristi handles the lunch crowd really well. Fast and friendly.. I'll return if I'm in the area again.. Nothing fancy. Just good food.

The best cheeseburger I've had in years, had good flavor, the lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. They also have my favorite fries....crinkle fries cooked crispy. We'll be back everytime we're in Topeka!!

Food took forever. It was decent bar food.. if you aren't drinking beer make your drink last because they won't be checking on you again.

This place is great a full meal for 9$ and great bar food real home cooked style and great fast service !

So here's the deal with this place... You are going to turn onto a gravel driveway and see a sign that looks like it is missing most of it's letters.... Keep going.... You will pull up to what looks like a sketchy dive bar.... Keep going... You will sit down in what looks like a sketchy dive bar and your phone will lose service... You will question a lot of life choices that brought you here.... Then the waitress shows up and is super friendly and the burgers are awesome for the price. Big thick patties with lots of cheese. The fried pickles are cut like French fries and are really good as well. You can't eat this much food at McDonald's for this price, and there is beer here! This is the definition of a hidden gem dive bar. The regulars already know about this place, but most folks will be scared away. Well worth a stop if you are passing through.

This was the first time that I had ever eaten here, and the burger was amazing! It's up there with Prize Package and The Pad! I will for sure be back!

Place is exactly what it says it is "The Shack" but they put out some good ol fashion bar and grill favorites at a decent price and good service. Not fancy so your welcome to wear your crocs 😎

Shack is always good!! I went for lunch and had the pork tender sandwich and fries! Very good 👍. Breakfast is my favorite though. Service is always good. Very friendly atmosphere.

Orders were mixed up. Took 15 min to get bacon that should have been on burger. Drink refills were slow to get.

This place is small and usually busy but it does have the best burger in town. It also has lots of appetizers to choose from if you just want some snacks and drinks while watching a game but get there early as mentioned earlier the place is small and usually busy.

Was very good I will be going back we had hamburgers and fries very delicious and wasn't a long wait for my food andvthe waiters were really nice good atmosphere.

Good beer and good burgers. Been there twice in 2 weeks and have never been there before. I would definitely recommend it, just get some fat tire please.

Service is a bit slow but they are understaffed. Food is good, but do remember it is bar food. Other than the hamburger which is real meat and fresh and the BLT most items are frozen dinner tier.

Quirky little place, but the burgers are very good. One of the better burgers I've eaten in a long time. Also serve coke product which is a huge plus for me.

Cheese burger and tater tots. Too much to eat. Tasted really good. 5 tvs in front of me and about that many behind me. All had various sports on. There is a outside dining patio but a bit too warm for me. Service was great.

Top notch food in this hole on the wall joint that has been around for many years. Love the fried pickles here. They are skinny spears and taste great with the batter that's on them. I've had the pork tenderloin sandwich and the BBQ sandwich with the ham and beef combo. You can choose to have one or the other meat as well with the BBQ. The rest of the family has had the burgers and the wings. By the way they have inhaled them, it is obvious that they were great as well. The staff are friendly and courteous. The place gives off sort of a small town, country vibe. Which makes it a nice change of pace after a long day, or even if you want to slow down for just a bite and a beer. This is not a place to expect perfection in the decor or seating. But it is a great place for great food, beer, and small town atmosphere.
