I cant possibly explain how upset I am with the young lady who told me and my kid to leave because the tornado siren was going off....How is that their protocol? Would it of made their store look better with them kicking us out...locking door behind them...the staff taking cover while an adult and her kid have been booted to fend for theirselves in the parking lot in front of their store.....what if we were injured or swept away by a tornado? I'm confused and very angry...It doesnt make any sense.

Store is always cluttered. Very narrow aisles and usually piled up with inventory on large racks that needing to be put up. Seems under staffed or poorly managed. Visited this location more than 3 times in one week and the clutter and racks were still on the floor.

I am giving the Dollar General Stores i Shawnee one star and that is being generous. They are filthy, unorganized with merchandise on the floor and some empty shelves. Corporate needs to hire new management.

Kim the manager is very hard working and pleasant to customers. Since the remodel, the store has never looked better. Keep up the awesome work Kim. I hope everyone has a chance to stop in and see the change. I'm super happy to have my DG back.

Worst place I've ever been to. Nasty, dirty not clean, rude employee, carts of merchandise everywhere, your lucky to get down the isles. Front door has a huge gap in it, wouldn't take much for someone to break in the place. But my biggest gripe is I stopped into this place to get a few things and all of a sudden, i had to use the restroom. I asked the one lady to whom was not at her register not any place near it if they had a restroom I could use. She tells me that they don't have a restroom to go next door when they open. For one, where do you go to the restroom and two, do you leave the store to use the restroom? I think not!! I left my stuff I had, was not going to purchase anything from there after that. Rude and disrespectful to customers. You all need to do something about your stores. And your employees.

A Dollar General! Great place! Great prices! Great employees and they are always willing to help anyway they can. We moved here in February '18 and the employees are as friendly as Shawnee! Just as if you did not leave the store! They might need a raise! I do not work for DG, MY OPINION for those folks that need to work and wait on us folks who expect great service ! I was in the WACS ,worked for a convenience store ( now there is a "job' that you have to try! Some folks? Bye !

Employee was SUPER nice and she was very helpful!!!! Would have got a 5 star rating just for her alone however, the layout of the store isn't the best 😓. Was around 9:30pm so the store had been faced and looked good. The cashier that was really friendly was trying to do her nightly duties of bringing stuff in from outside ect and didnt act annoyed that we had to stop her in order to ring out or AGAIN when we had come right back in because we forgot soda lol. Sorry I don't know her name because she was great...like I said it was around 9:30pm on 4/20/18. Thank you!!! My daughter and i appreciated you!!
