Great park. Well-groomed trails for walking & cycling through nice terrain.

Love this part of the trail. Nice walk with some hils but a good place to walk

This is where a lot of cyclists like to access the trail system surrounding Shawnee Mission Park, particularly Gary Haller Trail. Several times I've spent a few hours just seeing the sights bicycling. Nothing much to this particular spot, though. An access road not wide enough for 2 vehicles, and a little parking lot with a map. That's about it.

Nice shady place to get on to the trail. Just needs more parking spaces.

Beautiful hike. Take the high trail and it almost feels like Colorado!

Gorgeous paved trail through the woods

Great spot to jump on Gary Haller trail to go north where you can link to Clear Fork trail or south to Shawnee Mission Park. Be warned they close the parking lot gate promptly at sundown. Google is wrong that the park is open till 10pm.
