Pioneer Crossing Park is nice little park. Very smaller than I expected. There was not sigh at the park entrance. I missed it couple of times. I also though there was a walking trail but there some stars and no trail, it ended up at the small children's park. The art work is amazing though. It was still worth of visit. It recommend this just for a quick stop rather than full day plan to visit the park.

A cool and shady rest stop to learn about the pioneers who opened up the lands west

It's a nice little park with informational plaques about the area and some of its early residents. The trail leads to a set of stairs which I expected to continue into a trail, but it ended up being a playground right off a neighborhood. Overall it's very nice and I'm glad it's here, but it is right next to a busy road and endless businesses beyond that, so it's not really a place to go escape.

Good for a short stroll. Some nice history on the area and the trails west that stemmed from Shawnee.

Interesting historical park in an obscure location with a bonus playground for kids. It's nice for a quick walk or photo op. I've driven by it a million times and finally stopped.

An incredible place to learn the history of not only Shawnee, but also surrounding areas and the links of the past from the early days of our country. A must see if you ever have or make the opportunity. Wow! Well done.

Very small park but it was nice to show the kids! The stairs at the end lead to a small play place for you young kids!

If you're looking for something different to do this is a fun 15min stop. There are some interesting art pieces of pioneers along with informational kiosks to learn about the area. There's a steep hidden staircase that leads to a very small playground for small children.

Came today to see the sculptures up close and to find the “hidden” playground up the stairs. The playground is actually a different park called Douglas Highland Park. Look it up to see better pictures!
