Normal Cracker Barrel. Seem to change some items on the menu more often than in the past. Always good food. 4 stars for atmosphere because it is usually noisy. Good service. Often busy. Recent menu in Nov 23 seems to have some lower prices.

Wonderful atmosphere. Quick seating and service for a Saturday. Had Biegnets for the first time. Tasty doughnut with butter pecan sauce. The food is good for the price. Will be back.

We always love Cracker Barrel. It has a great atmosphere. The music was quiet so we could talk. The wait was only about 8 or 10 minutes. They also serve breakfast all day. I love the warm fire and the oil lamps.

We had a delicious meal that consists of meatloaf, chicken, pancakes and dumpling which was barely luke warm but the dish was super hot; figure that one out. We also had corn muffins and biscuits. The Peach tea was very refreshing and was as tasty as a peach. Our server Will was very good took our order and was as we asked.

Our waitress Keri was so kind💞 It was a busy Saturday evening but after we got our order in, our food came out so quick. It's good for people who like homestyle food. It has lots of safe menu options for picky and sensitive eaters. We had two different chicken based meals but different sides. There's lots of good side options and add ons. Classic American for sure!

The was a short wait due to big lunch crowd but got seated pretty quick. My biggest compliment was our wait person. Brittany was an absolute delight. She was running her tail off taking care of us and her tables. She was patient and polite. Very professional. She did her absolute best to satisfy everyone. With 4 or 5 tables all pulling her every which way, she did a great job. Brittany was a sweetheart and awesome people person. I got a sweet tea and the country fried chicken. It was fantastic. The mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans were perfectly seasoned and good and hot. Our refills were fast and she checked on us every time she walked by. It was my typical Cracker Barrel experience. Good portions, service and price. If you have a good meal, please leave a good tip so they can keep good workers.

This is an excellent restaurant. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the incredible service and the delicious breakfast meals. Everything was cooked perfectly, the coffee was full-flavored and very smooth....and the young lady who waited on us was very polite and speedy. We'll eat here again.

I tried the new breakfast tacos and they did not disappoint! A pancake with egg, bacon, and shredded cheese. Pour your syrup on top and enjoy. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys breakfast ! As always, I paired it with the hashbrown crack casserole and it never fails to be delicious.

Nice diner with gift shop along the Highway of Shawnee OK. It was not busy at 9am. Once seated, a service crew provided us the menu. Food ordered came fast. Has brown casserole tasted great! . Other foods tasted good . Crews and cashier were welcoming and friendly. Will go back again for lunch in the future.

Our food was good for the most part. Only problem was something was found in my daughter's dumplings that wasn't supposed to be there. I appeared to be the bowl wasn't cleaned completely from last use.

Our waitress Zoey was Awesome!! The food was like I was literally at Grandma's table even the plates. Best Cracker Barrel experience EVER!! The plates were warm and my over medium eggs stayed warm to the last bite. Hooray for the best kitchen staff!! Spoke with the manager about the wonderful experience and he went and gave the kitchen staff kudos immediately.. Don't pass this opportunity for great service and food up on your travels.

Listen, let's be honest, shawnee doesn't have the greatest food options. Cracker barrel is no exception. I think alot of it has to do with who is making the food and who you get as a server that will make your expierence either bad or good. For me....it was awful but for others they looked to at least be enjoying thier morning coffee. Let's get to the review Food: I had the old timers breakfast, which came with eggs, biscuits, hasbrown, and sausage patties. My food was not good. Eggs were cold, biscuits hard, and the sausage was undercooked. Unacceptable by any means. At least the hash browns were good. We waited 30 mins for our food Ambience: Cracker barrel has this rustic charm about it. It's very good at decorating for the holidays and transporting you to an old country time. I just wish the food would reflect that. Service: Well our server was not good. Not sure if she was tired or doesn't know how to wait tables but she wasn't pleasant and only checked on us 20 mins after taking our order. I will say the hosts, a young man and a young woman, were very friendly and assisted me they best the could with any issue I had. Bathrooms: Adequate but need more upkeeping. The store: My favorite part is to look at all the decor, toys, etc. I really enjoy all the little novelties they have. However I wasn't greeted like the other patrons that entered the store. Not sure if it's because I'm a single man walking in or I'm colored. Either way every other person who walked in were families or couples and they got some of the biggest "hi's" I've ever heard. Check out: you still have to bring your receipt to the checkout counter when leaving. When asked about our visit, we were honest and met with, "would you like free candy" we declined. Also they didn't really seem to care about our service, more like oh well. Final verdict: I don't recommend this place or really any restaurant in shawnee as they all have gone downhill since the pandemic ended. People don't want to work and people seem to care less about the customer. I'd be happier buying some bread and butter from the store and making some breakfast at home. Which I will do next time.

Quite busy on Sunday morning but good was always good and the waitress even picked on my dad since it was his truck blinding the restaurant. It was all in good fun made us feel welcomed. Love the store and all the items along the walls. Be sure to get on the new peg rewards system.

The chicken and dumplings here are top notch. We have ordered their Thanksgiving take home meal and it was great. This location is always super busy so be prepared to wait a bit during peak times. Love the gift shop area. Always find something unique.

Stopped in on a Tuesday evening for dinner. Quickly greeted and seated and had a wonderful server and unfortunately I forgot to catch his name. He made dinner so fun, full of laughs, excellent service and really helped us enjoy dinner after a stressful day that day. Chicken and dumplings were okay, but the cheesy bacon home style fried chicken was absolutely delicious!! It could have used a tad bit more ranch for moisture but still was so good. So much fun stuff in the country store and always something you can’t live without!

We love it here. The service is always great, and the food is always good. Especially when Josh is in the kitchen. There are many great servers. Our favorites are Jason and the Australian lady. Matthew is a hoot and quick with a joke. The whole place is always clean. Inside and out. This is truly a great place to get some grub and various old time candy and country themed goodies!

It was a wonderful experience! We ate at Cracker Barrel on Memorial Day. There were so many people we were concerned there would be a long wait. We were seated within 15 minutes. Our friendly waitress arrived immediately to take our order. The food arrived quickly. Even though they were extremely busy, she came back multiple times to refill our drinks. The manager even stopped at our table and said if we need anything please let him know. The food was so delicious! I had the veggie plate: sweet potato, pinto beans, turnip greens and baked apples. My husband chicken and dumplings. Today rates as my all time best Cracker Barrel experience! I will definitely be back!

My waitress had to be reminded a few times. She undercharged us, and when I brought it up, she changed the receipt to reflect. I was surprised she didn't let it go. C'est la vie. 😀 still love my blueberry syrup and those 🥞!

Cracker Barrel is my go to for comfort food. My personal favorite is chicken and dumplings, baby carrots and fried okra. My husband loves their fried catfish. Our server, Grady was friendly and attentive. Of course Cracker Barrel has the bonus of also having a marvelous store. My faves are their chow-chow and the wide selection of retro candy. They also have a wide selection of gifts and clothing. This location was clean and inviting with ample parking.

Visited this location on 12-8-22 for a late lunch with my sister. The store had the fireplace going which was a nice touch. We noticed that Cracker Barrel had a variety of new menu items since we had visited most recently. My sister decided to try the new Raspberry Tea that was shown on the menu. We like visiting Cracker Barrel because we can order either breakfast, lunch or one of the Daily Specials offered depending on what we are craving. Our waitress Mary Beth was friendly & kept our drinks filled & fresh biscuits on the table. We will be coming back soon for another visit.

Very good and tasteful food. Since several people ordered fried chicken, the waitress made sure we knew the food would take a little longer. Typical Cracker Barrel atmosphere, very country. Enjoyed the food and looking around the store.

As soon as you walk in, you relax. A menu full of hometown favorites along with that roaring fireplace. Ample room for all and extra room for the member of our group in a wheelchair. My sisters love the kids' menu, and her husband can fill up on his favorite veggies. My favorites come from that desert menu with goodies to satisfy the pickiest of friends. You are always melted by friendly staff eager to assist you in the fashion your use to. Don't forget the gift shop for those last-minute ideas or those wonderful decorations to warm up and home.

This place has good food, don't get me wrong, but it is very overcrowded especially when busy. The service was adequate for the business. Personally I feel that this place is over hyped/rated. I won't personally seek this out as a venture, but I wouldn't decline it if someone offered either. I had the old farmers? Breakfast, which was fruit, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and a chicken fried steak. Was good, but felt the fruit was sweetened with sugar, and the chicken fried steak was preformed. Overall worth a try if nearby I'm the vicinity, but wouldn't seek it out.

My family and I eat here every other month or so. No complaints about the food. We love the variety since some of us are in a breakfast mood while others are in more of a dinner mood. I like the decor and the shop. My son loves the Souix City Sarsaparilla (it's the only place we can find it) from the shop and I really like all the "retro" candies and snacks that I used to get as a kid. My wife is a big fan of the knickknacks and some of the clothing items. I only gave 4 stars because the wait staff doesn't refill drinks as much as I'd like.

I ordered the special which was their fried smothered pork chops and they were delicious! Nice and tender and not dry and the gravy was the perfect flavor. My husband ordered the fried catfish and it was excellent, nice and crispy outside and tender and flaky on the inside, cooked perfectly. The kids all had the cheeseburgers off the kids meal and had no complaints. We ordered the coca cola cake and beignets for dessert and they were so good! Service was great and food was hot and came out timely. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely come back.

I’m sorry to say the chicken pot pie was less than stellar. The crust is completely amazing but the filling was rather bland. The sourdough toast was, as always, delicious.
