It’s my first time eating Indian cuisine in a restaurant with friends and I am 100% satisfied! The food was so delicious and tasty and even the service was fast. My favorite are the goat curry and the chicken biryani. We’ll definitely go back again. ✔︎

Daal Roti is a friendly and clean Indian restaurant in Orangeville. I dropped by for a lunch thali and tried a non-vegetarian one. It was okay. I think if your hungry and looking for something quick and affordable, it is great. Personally for me, it was lacking flavour and the butter chicken was very sweet, almost like a dessert. The naan was delicious and fresh! Otherwise, I am interested to try their other dishes. Shout out to this restaurant for giving free food to unemployed students - that is so nice of them!

On our way back from weekend vacation, we were quite tired and hungry.. the food served really matched our expectations.. Dishes were sumptuous and the quantity and spice level were perfect..the staff was courteous too !! Will definitely drop in again whenever we get to traverse in that area..

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Daal Roti Indian Curry Express in Orangeville, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. It was a Monday afternoon around 3 PM when my colleague and I decided to have lunch there, and we were delighted to find that it wasn't too busy, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable dining experience. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, the service was top-notch. The staff at Daal Roti Indian Curry Express were incredibly hospitable and provided excellent service. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Their warm and welcoming demeanor truly added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. Now let's talk about the food. We started our meal with some samosas, and they were absolutely delightful. The crispy exterior gave way to a flavorful and well-seasoned filling, making for a perfect appetizer. We also tried the chicken tikka and chicken skewers, and both dishes were bursting with robust flavors. The spices used were balanced beautifully, creating a mouthwatering taste experience that had us craving for more. In addition to the fantastic food and service, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the washrooms. It's always a sign of a well-maintained establishment when even the restrooms are spotless, and Daal Roti Indian Curry Express certainly excelled in this regard. As someone who appreciates Indian cuisine, I wholeheartedly recommend Daal Roti Indian Curry Express to anyone in Orangeville looking for a memorable dining experience. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and a welcoming ambiance truly sets this restaurant apart. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or curious to try it for the first time, you won't be disappointed by the authentic flavors and hospitality offered here. Give it a visit and prepare to have your taste buds tantalized.

This restaurant stands out from other around the area because it’s clean and have a nice atmosphere, although it’s not big, but the service was great. I enjoyed the appetizer, cottage cheese with spinach sauce is too oily compared to what I had in other Indian restaurants. Other than that the food was delicious. They provide water bottles on the table automatically but if you drink it it will be charged. It does feel like a hidden charm after we compared with two other restaurants around that location. I’d recommend it.

We visited this restaurant and ordered two non-veg thalis, each of us had butter chicken, chicken tikka, daal/ channa, salad, rice and naan. The naan was exceptional, all the dishes on the thaali were so tasty. This was a pleasant surprise for a take out joint type restaurant. We usually drive to Brampton for good North Indian food, now we only need to get to this restaurant! The service was quick, the dine in area is small (but can easily seat 10 people, comfortably)as it is mainly a take out restaurant, but we were a family of four including a toddler and infant and had no issues dining in. I would recommend calling to check if there is space prior to dining in. We met with the owner, who was serving our meals. He is such a kind and humble gentleman, he made sure we were comfortable. Provided us with a small spoon and plate to feed our toddler! We are definitely going back, thank you Mr. Deepak!

Loved the food and ambiance. The owner was so kind to give us a discount today as we were having a great day after our exam. Garlic naan, and chicken tandoori was superb!! 🤤 #recommended.

The food is delicious. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is very embracing. It is a comfortable restaurant. I highly recommend it . We had butter, chicken and a combination of appetizers and we're very impressed with how delicious everything was. My wife and I will certainly return.

I think this restaurant is new and they have less experience. Otherwise I've never met anyone who says *We don't give salt and spice in the food, if someone needs it they can add it*. Food is tasteless like mud and grass. I had asked him to give salt and chillies. Though he gave. And they have only one person to work here, they should hire at least 2 more people to look after the customer's needs, We had to go and bring water. The environment is good , because it is a quiet place but the food is garbage. They must immediately check what they are giving to customers otherwise it won't run long

This venue is so pretty. Loved the teal and gold theme. We tried the garlic naan, tandoori chicken, sizzlers, butter chicken, daal, biryani and many more dishes which were all delicious. My faves were the malai kofta, and butter chicken with garlic naan. So yum!

This review is to aware customers about their service and how they rip you off. Well! We went there with a family for first time at this location, since we had a very good experience with Mississauga location and we love the food of dal roti. But at this location they don’t have a taste of franchisee culture, they make in their own way. (Eg: cashew masala was too watery that we ate it like a soup). Here, we were feeling bad that restaurant is not having any employees so let’s not complain and eat whatever it is. Being a good customer, when I paid my bill I was very disappointed with the owner as he just charged me the total without handing out a receipt. Upon asking for a receipt he he gave it with additional charges of water bottles which we never actually ordered. Please be aware. I just want to help other customers, who is getting ripped off by the owner unknowingly. Adding to this, owner himself will serve you without property listing your order. While serving he drop curry on my father’s chair and jacket. (No wet tissue was provided after this, he just cleaned the chair) I would never visit this restaurant where they just want to make money by cheating people and not having a guilt about it.

I ordered Hara Bhara kabab and Palak paneer. FYI: I am a regular visitor of Daal roti at financial drive location and order fix menu everytime. I decided to try this location which is near. but hara kabab was worst. the crust was so loose that Kabab has a semi solid consistency. the coating of breadcrumps was so light that kabab was not crispy at all and too oily. palak panner had so much khada masala amd garam masala that it was spicy. Dont recommned this location. now you are responding on my review saying there is no such order. kindly check your orders as of May 16 around 5 pm. this is not fake review. i have a receipt and payment proof. if u guys are not respecting the genuine feedback, u might loose some more clients at your location.

I wouldn’t even give 1 star. I ordered a Mojito and it was awful. I didn’t even have 2 sips. I however paid in full for the drink and not even once was I told “can I offer you something else in place?” I was told you drank from it so no. The customer service was horrible. I purchased something to drink, however after sitting for 2 1/2 hours, the man came and told me I have to leave because I’m not ordering something to eat. Downright disgusting and disrespectful to rush me out of the restaurant telling me I’m been here for more than 3 hours when that wasn’t the case. Definitely will never recommend to anyone else. You don’t know what someone is going through so a little kindness is appreciated. You don’t know who I am. It just goes to show having a restaurant and actually treating customers with kindness isn’t for everyone. I will never come back here and never recommend. Customer service is essential and should be taken seriously for everyone. No matter what.
