Had the best breakfast of my life here! Bloodys are phenomenal and the eggs Benny is to die for. The woman up front, Amelia, was so helpful and warm! Def coming back up here again!!

If you like brunch, this is the spot for you! The interior was charming, small and inviting. There was a mix up with reservations, but the staff were quick to resolve the issue and get us seated, now for the food...We got the baked apple pancake for the table. It was massive, fluffy, and not too sweet. The popovers were perfectly fluffy and eggy but what really caught my attention was the homemade marmalade. Its SPECTACULAR! Spiced perfectly to balance out the sweet and tangy flavors. the maple coffee sausage wasnt spectacular, but certainly not bad. My main dish was the monte cristo. It was amazing. Very filling, loaded with thick cut ham and rich local cheese! 10/10 would recommend!

We have been coming to Rustic Roots for years. They have never disappointed us in terms of food or service quality! Their prices are very reasonable. Rhonnie, their new server, is delightful, professional, knowledgeable, and fun!

We were driving through and looked for a place to eat. Rustic Roots had a high review rate so we stopped. They live up to the great reviews! Everyone loved what they ate! Our server was awesome! Get the popovers!! Great place!!

I got confit chicken and waffles. The waffle was perfect. It had a slight cakeyness inside and a nicely browned outside that wasn't dry or tough. There was just a hint of maple on it, making it sweet but just subtly. The chicken was cut thinly and had a beautiful crispness. On its own the chicken would have been too salty but paired with the sweetness of the waffle it made for a perfect bite. Even the little bed of lettuce that came on top was dressed in a restrained but delicious way. Whoever is in the kitchen seems to know exactly what they want to achieve with that dish and is working hard to make it happen. It was our servers' first day but she was still lovely and did a great job. If you go to Rustic Roots there's a very good chance you'll leave happy.

This place is awesome! First time having homemade turnovers and I wasn't disappointed! The sausage is chef's kiss 💋 Be sure to make a reservation, because clearly the secret is out.

Great breakfast place. First time there and loved it. Had the mushroom and truffle omelette that was amazing along with the pop up!! All staff and servers were so friendly and nice. It was out 1st time in Vermont and the waitress we had was welcoming and happy to give us suggestions of places to see. Highly recommend!

A little house-restaurant. With a small bar! Food was amazing! Had a small brunch meal-- the chicken confit & waffles. Very, very good. Thick waffle. Tasty Vermont maple syrup. Scrumptious chicken. so many great options on the menu. Parking is tough but if you can make it there, you won't regret it.

The best breakfast I've EVER had. The eggs Benny was out of this world! And the burnt lemon cocktail was delicious. Wish you weren't 2 hours away!!!! Hope to come back soon.

Awesome breakfast and experience! I chose the salmon Benedict and it might have been one of the most satisfying breakfasts I've had in a long time! My wife got the home fries with their coffee sausage and we were both blown away by the taste of everything. They also make traditional style macchiato which is a huge plus! Overall I really wish we lived in the area so we could become a regular.

My fiancé and I are from NJ and after a very long trip, found this place online and decided to stop for breakfast. Best choice ever. Food was phenomenal. He got the OG Eggs Benedict on a popover and I got the almond butter waffle with a side of potatoes and sausage. I don’t have one bad thing to say. Everything exceeded our expectations. Our server was very new but super sweet and the manager of the place (wasn’t able to catch her name) did a great job of guiding her when needed. Manager was also super friendly, sociable, and laughing and talking with us as well as other guests. Just a great atmosphere paired with great food. Our next trip to Vermont we will absolutely be back!

Love this place! Breakfast menu is interesting yet simple. Flavors are very good, even if they're a bit on the conservative side. The service is wonderful. Very happy about our first visit.

Amazinggggg brunch spot! I’ve never had a bad dish here. All their local ingredients are spot-on within their menu. DO NOT skip the pop overs! They have fun drinks too (even a virgin Bloody Mary is delish). Definitely a small dining area because it’s a cute converted house, so you likely need reservations. But I did call on a lark the other day and we were able to get a weekend table within 20 minutes for 2! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Just an amazing restaurant. The food and service were top notch. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Vermont. Please call ahead and make a reservation. Do not expect to be able to walk up and get a table.
