Great trails.... Lots of options... Magnificent views...a little stream where we had lots of fun... Nice pic of an upturned tree.... Only negative was the rude lady who refused to keep her aggressive dog on a leash....

Beautiful trails with a playground and dog parks on the side. Great for the kids to spend time.

Great walking trail with some neat "survival shelters" built by, probably, kids. The playground is pretty fun. Washrooms. I used to walk or bike here from past Sandowne school and there was nothing but the forest (no trails except what we blazed through finding good forts...). Loads of playing fields.

In my opinion, the trail didn't have nice views. Parts of the trail were not maintained and were muddy and full of mosquitos. I don't recommend this trail for hiking in at least, the August weather.

actual godly xc course the hills were pretty underwhelming though

Clean, well maintained park with lots of amenities including tennis and baseball diamonds. Large wooded area with plenty of trails running parallel to a river. I find the grave site attached to the park a little offsetting but that just me.

Apart from that hill going down to the gate, it's a fantastic place and always lots of pups cavorting

Nice trails to walk when it’s hot outside. The trees give you so much shade that it feels really cool. Wide trails. Clean. The Mulchy trail makes the path soft and cushiony. :-)

    Love the dog park here

We usually use the indoor turf or outdoor 11 a side field. Been much better since they renovated the turf however the space is quite small compared to RIM.

    Toddlers at Play is awesome!

Great little hike area along the banks of the Grand river flood plain'ish area. Lots of posum, fox, coyote, racoon tracks. Really love having access to this type of freedom within waling distance of town.

Amazing indoor fields, the only negative is that the 5 v 5 fields tend to be a little small

  • 2/5 Ekim F. 4 years ago on Google
The indoor field is not as quality as other fields in KW Cambridge area. Came out covered in green dust.

  • 5/5 Del F. 2 years ago on Google
We saw a deer. It was majestic. The dog park is nice too because owners are required to walk in a loop - which is how all dog parks should be. Thanks Bechtel Park!!

I love the Bechtel Tennis park. It has four concrete courts. The courts could use some repairs, gap filling. Conveniently close, not too crowded, mixed public enjoying the game. It also has couple of football (soccer) fields. Attached are walking trails and dag play parks. Very good for leisure activities in summer.

Although I got my first knee injury playing there first time! "Jynx much" the place is actually neat, it's set up as a low maintenance facility. It does the job for a field, 3 x 5 players vs 5 players. Seating area behind glass. Field is a thin layer of artificial grass, might want to find flat artificial grass shoes.

Visiting the cemetery, well maintained. Great open spaces with benches to sit and remembered our loved ones no longer with us.

Always clean, under some construction but very nice park for dog walking, kids to play, and sports

This park is a natural Zoo. I’ve seen Snakes, Deers (at night), Skunks, Chipmonks, Foxes, Coyotes and an Owl.

3.5/5 Stars for this park. I think that the best times of year to come to Bechtel is in the fall and late spring/early summer. We like to walk the dog on the trails, which look very nice in the fall. I would avoid coming to this park when it is very wet because some parts of the trail turn into muddy swamps that are difficulty to safely navigate. We don't come here regularly as there are some better parks in the area.

Good place for small kids.. They develop a lot of skills.. you can watch from outside, but still be inside what help on this cold weather..

The indoor and outdoor facilities are good. The 4 stars is because the indoor facilities are not very modern- although they serve the purpose just fine! The washrooms, change rooms and fields are always clean and ready for use. Thank you to the staff who have, in my experience, always been kind and helpful!

Bechtel Park is one of our favourite places for walks. One of the trails has a small owl that spends time in a certain tree and it's been fun trying to spot it each walk.

The indoor field is pretty good but very dusty. My cleats come away covered in green dust and it sometimes feels a little stuffy inside. There's very little viewing area and not much area to walk around if you're a spectator or waiting for your kid. However it's good for what it is (an indoor soccer field) and it's really close to my home. The outdoor fields are very good.

Fields are small but turf is in great condition. Seating area for spectators is extremely limited and view to watch games is poor.

Beautiful ground! Nice turf too. Not too big though but the carpet is decent

Bechtel park is a multiple purpose park. It suits every age group. There is a dog park too. The trail is beautiful .

Great trails through the forest. A nice way to spend a warm September afternoon. A dog park and a playground makes it a nice spot for the whole family!!

  • 4/5 Kristian B. 3 years ago on Google
Great dog park. Some people don't pay attention to their dogs which is a shame. I've seen a few dog fights so please always watch your dogs! Can get muddy after it rains so dress accordingly!

Bechtel Park has great wooded trails and many athletic facilities. It also has a great fenced area for walking dogs off leash.

  • 4/5 Topcon C. 3 years ago on Google
Nice little park. There is a fenced in dog park, as well as a children's playground. The trails themselves are not that long, but the walk beside the river is curvy and goes over and under logs and trees. Nice place in town to get away to when you need a break.

  • 4/5 Pat A. 3 years ago on Google
We went to Bechtel for the off leash dog park. It's quite large and a good open space for dogs to roam and stay relatively in sight. Only issue would be the hill down to the entrance and the path in the park gets very icy. It's not overwhelmingly icy or steep but could pose an issue if you have limited mobility.

  • 4/5 Carol B. 3 years ago on Google
Some good, snow-packed, and in some cases icy sections on trails. Recommend cleats, and possibly walking poles. Not too busy, and people are respectful of distancing on trails.

    Beautiful when snowy

This is place is dope! Very peaceful, gorgeous park with nice scenery. It's clean and well kept. A great place to take your dog on an adventure, here's my dog and my best friend, he's a Newfoundland and loves his leash.
