Nice, clean store that has a wide variety of snacks. Their soft pretzels are the best. I was disappointed that they wouldn't have any more soft pretzels for another two weeks.

Hot dogs and pizza is amazing! Very clean store and friendly staff!

Walked in the store to purchase snacks and use the restroom. No one at cash-registers and bathrooms closed with an exclusion railing and no “wet floor signs” to limit liability while still allowing customers to use the restrooms. I then could hear a commotion from the kitchen so I called out for help; and a portly woman with a ponytail waddles out. I asked why the bathrooms were closed and she says “because they were just cleaned”. She claims they have to dry for 15 minutes and it’s near the end of her shift (undoubtedly she’s purposely closed off the restrooms so that they remain clean and she gets off on time) and there was no way I could use. So I hit the road to a friendlier store with employees more attentive to customer service than getting off on time, and with clean restrooms that they are also willing to let the customers use.

I've never had a bad experience in this store but you are not open 24 hours. And if there are ppl working they lock the doors and hide

Easy to find and get gas at. Very clean too

We visited Shelbyville for the first time yesterday. And this RaceTrac was where we stopped for gas on our way out that evening. I just want to say how bright and clean I found this store. I went in looking for a little something to eat. What I found was a selection with most anything I could have chosen from fast food restaurants; pizza in a variety of choices that looked fresh and delicious; ready made sub type sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos and still other things to choose from. I chose a cheeseburger not expecting much, but it was hot, the bun was fresh, and the meat was actually very good! I dressed it from a condiment bar that was totally clean and well kept and well stocked! I am so impressed that I went searching online for a place to comment. And it is well deserved, especially at this time when service seems to be non-existent, and most places are exactly the opposite.

Its a great place but its supposed to be open 24 hours and got there a few minutes after 5 and there is a sign on door saying they are closed until 5:30 sorry for inconvenience. We'll they need to under what an inconvenience it is for people headed to work and can't wait or people that are getting off and just needing to stop and then get home. I've witnessed like over 20 cars in the past 30 minutes leave.

This store is not 24/7. The employees have the doors locked but are just standing inside doing nothing. They have a sign that says to use the night box, but when you press the button to use the box the employees either ignore you or are extremely rude because they have to go get the stuff you need. Just unlock the doors so customers can go in and get their stuff....what a concept.

There’s a side entrance off Peacock Road to the Racetrack gas station 🤪 The GPS appears to take you on the scenic route to the entrance off the highway… yikes 😱

It is currently 1 am , and I tried to enter the store, but I didn’t know if it meant no workers are available to service, (meaning they’re probably using the bathroom or something) then I see this lil girl looking at me, and I’m trying to figure out if they’re closed or not, but all she did was ignore me, like .. the least u could’ve done was tell me if you’re closed or not that’s all, don’t be ignoring you got ppl standing trying to get ur attention but u just wanna stand there and ignore when u know dang well they jus gon stand there UNTIL they get your attention when u could’ve just said something 😐
