A great hotel in terms of facilities, excellent location, near to three subways and view. Its very easy to travel to, through subway. But the vehicle reach is a little hard due to the walking district downstairs. Also there is a cool underground food street right below, so there are a plenty of food options. Electronic street is right at the place, you can buy all electronic consumer goods and parts.

Although this hotel is a non-smoking hotel, people are smoking in the rooms and the rooms stink from cigarettes. The AC system brings all the smoke to the room and I literally couldn't sleep at night. My room was replaced but the same repeated (also in my colleague's room). Other than that the location is nice and there are nice views from the rooms.

Great location , near the underground railway. Close to the largest electronic markets. Lots of restaurants with a vast range of cuisine. Also shopping malls all close. The only negative is the lake if elevators. With reception on the 23rd floor and the rooms above them. There was always a delay for the elevator. Other than that will stay again at the hotel.

What a nice hotel! The views from the rooms were breathtaking, and it is just besides all the electronic markets in Huaqiangbei. You literally just take the elevator (which by the way has windows so you can see all the way down) and you're there. Staff were very helpful, spoke English, and they cleaned the rooms daily. The hotel is very modern, but you can still see it is a bit dated, but the bed was still nice, and the shower was great.

Have stayed here many times. Rooms are excellent. Lobby and rooms are on upper floors so lifts become an issue. There are 3 that go up to the lobby and sometimes they turn one off to save electricity. Breakfast can be a bit of a challenge - but this is China. Good value hotel!

Amazing view, amazing service. World class dining. Rooms were cozy, check in took a while, however to be expected, and within reason.

Booked two rooms for one night and rooms should be ready at 14:00hrs as per the policy. However, i can’t get my two rooms ready until 20:00hrs. AND I AM NOT THE ONLY PARTY who is encountering the same situation!! We have been waiting in one of the restaurants in the hotel from 14:30hrs to 16:00hrs for our rooms as some of us need some rest indeed. But they just keep us waiting and informed us the rooms MAYBE ready in one hour (the front desk staff later emphasised it is AT LEAST take one hour to get the rooms ready, say 17:00hrs). We have no other choice as we don’t want to spend a whole afternoon just for this issue. So we left the hotel with our tiring souls and decided to return to hotel later of the day and hopefully get a good rest. So, here comes to the conclusion, retuning to this hotel at 20:00hrs for check-in and still CANNOT get my rooms ready which i have paid a full fare for. Is this Hotel expecting their guests returning to the Hotel only at late evening? The worst hotel experience ever!

Best place to stay in Shenzhen right in the middle of the electronic markets. Big rooms good English service and always clean and comfortable can’t ask for much more. Beats most 5 star places I’ve been in Australia.

A very nice hotel located at the electronic market Huaqiang Bei. Can get a very good view on this street. Many restaurants nearby and can get either breakfast or dinner so not necessary need to ask for breakfast in the hotel. Easy to catch the taxi or cab in front of the hotel even without ride sharing apps. The hotel accepts visa card and not required union pay.

Great hotel at Huaqiangbei. Does not get more central than this. Good wifi throughout and if you install VPN (legal for foreigners) you can access western services like Google though hotel wifi. Get a 4G router though, as you'll miss having a good connection otherwise. The price of router + 12Gb data was easily paid one day of sparse internet roaming though my telco... Hotel offers a great Asian style breakfast with some western elements & there's a Starbucks at the basement for ok coffee. Good Air conditioning throughout the building. It's true that some furniture is a little worn as others mention, but still looks stylish. Never had a problem with smell of smoke here & this is my second stay. There are other places that are cheaper, but I would go back here for convenience. Overall, a very stylish hotel & as central as possible!

Great hotel with great value, All rooms are high floor. Hotel lobby is on the 23rd floor. Walk 100m you will find HuaQiang north station metro easily moving through out the city. Hotel Manager Mr. Yang is a great asset. Assisting all your needs, answering your questions whenever you want it.

Hotel is at a prime location within walking distance of subway and electronic shopping area. Only downsize is that they are not at first floor so you have to take your luggage to elevator to go to lobby at higher level. It is also hard to get into the door since they have no clear mark for hotel parking so taxi may get confused trying to find an entry.

Very lucky to have spent 7 nights here. The staff were friendly and always tried their best to deal with my queries. Location is the best. The metro is right outside the hotel. Line 2 goes right through most of the key places I wanted to visit as a tourist or allowed easy connection to other lines. There is an underground shopping area in the metro station that was handy for food. Lots of little restaurants to try here. The Huaqiang Bei area has a lively vibe and always felt safe to walk around at night. Plenty of shops and street food to explore. I was in a twin room which was large and spacious. In the bathroom, I liked the design of the sliding door which either exposed the shower or the toilet (note that the walls separating the room and bathroom is dark glass and can be slightly see-through from the entrance hallway). The city view from the room was excellent and beautiful at night. The hotel was quiet except for some slight traffic noise outside in the early evening. The turndown service was great and very consistent. Some reviewers noted difficulty finding the entrance to the hotel. I asked the hotel to provide me with the address in Chinese prior to arrival, which I showed the taxi driver (here it is: 深圳华强广场酒店 广东省深圳市福田区华强北路1019号). Taxi's are a relatively cheap way to travel in China, it cost me only 90 RMB from Shekou ferry port (150 RMB on the way back during rush hour). I would advise that you go into the Starbucks entrance, the lifts are on the left. Check-in on level 23. I arrived at around 11am and luckily my room was ready. Another set of lifts go to the rooms. You need a keycard to access these, which made it feel safe travelling as a single woman. Thank you I really enjoyed my stay. I would stay again if i came back!
