Nice little museum with a variety of displays such as Dinosaurs, the history of Sherman, an old time general store, and a Meteorite Men exhibit (as of 06/30/2020). Friendly staff, pricing was $5/adult.

Pretty neat little museum. My kids enjoyed the dinosaurs and the fossil dig activity. We spent about 45 minutes looking around.

Today was a very special time for my sister Lu Ann and I to enjoy seeing the items our mother made for use when she was a wonderful school teacher as well an awesome pianoist. She has be gone for a long while but it was a joyful time for us as a family to remember how special and kind she was and how many people over the years loved and enjoyed her, too. We are truly blessed!♥️🙏

I highly suggest going to see the rest of that T-Rex I posted! We had such a good time with not just the exhibits but also the Dino activities! We even got to pretend to be Paleontologists with the dino dig they had set up. I think we are definitely going to be looking into the summer camps they have scheduled for our 6 year old!

Took my family to see Dino Days. $5 a person is a little much for something that only took about 30 minutes to go through. Not very young child friendly. They did have a few exhibits that were interesting to my husband and I. Dinosaurs were cool, too!

Went to a Memorial, for a dear friend, in the basement. He was a Fossil, Artifact, & Rock Hunter. A lifelong member of Texoma Rockhounds,Inc. The Museum gladly let his wife set up a display of some of his extensive collection. Fantastic space and set up. Thank you.

We went to meet Santa Claus and Santa Dino with our 11 month old son. Lots to see, we were able to get him a baby dinosaur stuffy.

Great little museum showcasing the history of Sherman, Texas. Friendly staff. Easy to walk through in about an hour. It is wheelchair & stroller accessible with an elevator in back.

One can plan for a trip from Dallas to Sherman for a whole day. A few of the places in Sherman is the sherman museum. It will take at least 30 to 40 minutes if you want to go through all the items within the museum in details. If someone wants to just browse through, I think 10 minutes to 15 minutes is good enough time. There are other areas in the vicinity of this museum which you can see through. This museum holds quite a good amount of historic items and the item ranges from 100 years to 200 years. The other few items of interest at the dinosaur's bones, which hopefully is millions of years of the past. Good place to take your kids and show how America is a continent used to look like in millions of years in the past and which all animals used to ROM around on this part of the land.
