We redeemed 2 nights here and was upgraded to a room with a kitchenette. I wouldn’t say it’s the biggest as once you open the bathroom door, the other person cannot walk through. Despite the upgrade, we were given single beds although our booking stated king size. Good for one person IMO. Front desk don’t seem very friendly to help foreigners. We called to borrow an adapter, they told us to go down and collect it ourselves. We asked to help to book a taxi, they told us to just flag one but they booked for a Japanese guest. BUT the housekeeping staff were very polite and kind, they cleaned up the room really well, 5 Stars for housekeeping. The hotel is not exactly near Shin-Osaka station, we never walked as we couldn’t figured out the direction. Despite being relatively out of the way, there is a Lawson and minimart nearby. There is an awesome Okonomiyaki restaurant too.

One of the best hotels in this price category. Usually in Japan it is very difficult to find a decent hotel with western standards in the areas where I usually work. This place was just great and such a lovely staff. My room was very big and I loved everything about it. Breakfast also serves western food, not only Japanese which was really great for me. The gym could use a bit of maintenance but at least there was a gym.

A bit far from Shin Osaka station. There’s a bus running once every hour, two stops or walk about 10-15 minutes. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and spacious room with washing machine, air cleaner and cooking utensils. Simple café with high ceiling that can enjoy relaxing atmosphere. Feel good like home. Convenient store and drug store is just opposite. Huge home centre is about 5 minutes walking distance.

This hotel is more than amazing. I stayed in so many hotels but this one has the best value by far. Japanese standards/technology and US comfort combined. No shortcuts. I think the decisions they took for any choice when they designed the rooms were the same: pick the best. There is no compromise. I stayed in the family room and it can't be better. I'm amazed. It is a bit far from the station but it is walkable. Direction is easy. I think they pay for the taxi for the 1st time you go if you follow certain directions they provide. This is nice. After that you figure out that it is not so bad to walk from the station. The room is very clean and looks very new with new equipments everywhere. On a side note: front is not kind (or simply, they get annoyed by any communication with them even for simple things like more towels). This is not because of the language. I tried English one day and Japanese the other day. It is the same with two different receptionists. The room is so good so I'm not giving 4 stars but the front was almost going to be a reason for a 4 or 3.

My spouse and I absolutely loved our stay at the Holiday Inn! The accommodations were spacious. The staff are friendly, have handled all our special requests for ice (both for drinks and ice packs), towels, etc. and went above and beyond to double check on me when I clearly came back to the hotel solo, limping and with obvious rashes on my legs. The bonus that we got to watch the Yodogawa Fireworks Festival from our hotel bed was just icing on the cake. (Not sure all rooms can see the fireworks but ours on the eighth floor was perfect, the fireworks happen every august on the first Saturday.) My only request would be to be able to request room service, but then again I might never leave the room and there are so many amazing places to go out and see. I love that we are near the Shin-Osaka train station and the nearby pharmacies have also been very useful. Truly I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The hotel is a big part of the reason why my vacation has been amazing in spite of a rolled ankle and newly developed sun allergy.

We stayed in this Hotel from 11 to 20 jun 23 for our first visit to Osaka Japan. The price for two connecting rooms were very affordable considering the larger than normal size room including the daily breakfast with a good spread While its location is slightly farther away from the shin-Osaka train station, the aforementioned positivities more than made up for it. The daily housekeeping was duly taken care of without fail and the concierge staff were very attentive and helpful.

We stayed in the twin premimum city view. The room had a closet (as compared to other hotels that barely had any storage space) and the bathroom was spacious and included storage space. Breakfast was delicious! There was plenty of variety and included made-to-order omelet. The location is good but it is not as close to Shin-Osaka station. It is at least 10 minutes walk and not an easy walk with luggage. They have a shuttle from the station but there is no timetable. We were able to take the shuttle sometimes to the station but not the other way around. We just took a taxi back to the hotel. There wasn't much of a city view. That being said, if you are fine with the location, this is a great place to stay.

I booked a room with two beds for 3 people from 9/30/23 to 10/3/23 through Expedia. I paid an additional 5400 yen/night guest fee for guest #3 through Expedia. However, when we checked in, I was told that we needed to pay another additional guest fee as the 5400 yen/night was for guest #2. They charged me 8000 yen/night for guest #3. I am so confused as the room was for two people and not one and we have paid the additional fee for guest #3. The front desk dismissed us even though we showed her the receipt and was rude to us. We felt cheated by this. If it weren’t so late, we would have left this hotel and not come back. If this is the hotel’s policy and the base rate for the room is for one person then they should have made this clear. I am very disappointed at the staff and will not be coming back.

Fantastic service. Ordered a remote Internet device through another company, had it delivered here for my stay. Check in was great, room is clean. No complaints.

This booking was last minute due to unforseen cancelation. Holiday Inn was amazing! The room we booked has a kitchen and a small in suite laundry. Everything was great. The service was top notched. Location is 15minutes walking to Shin-Osaka Station. 5 min walking to the supermarket. Will stay here again

The rooms are not the best organized for space, but the washing machine, plates, kitchenette, etc... made the room very nice. The service was very nice and the staff freely offered amenities and extra housekeeping. Many reviews mention that the hotel is far from the station. I disagree. There is a walk, but it was not bad. It was nice and short. Shin-Osaka was easy to get to everywhere I wanted to visit in Osaka, and it was easy to leave with the train to other destinations. Overall, in Japan, it was my second favorite hotel. When I return to Osaka, I will stay only in this hotel.

    1. The linen in both rooms were dirty. I received pillow covers with blood on them. It was disgusting. When I took photos and showed it to reception, they said the hotel does what's called eco cleaning and doesn't change linen for three days. I said it's disgusting to be offered other people's linen with blood on it. They ultimately changed it. The quilt cover in room 716 was dirty and disgusting. 2. There wasn't enough food in the japanese food section during breakfast. People had to scramble for chicken. If you come later than 8 am there wouldnt be any left. 3. From time to time, there was noise from ambulance going to the nearby hospital that blocked my sleep 4. The air-conditioning was pretty bad. The room became hot around 2 pm and I had to stay awake to chill down 5. There was very little sound proofing in between rooms and I could hear people giggling and walking around at 2 am

King suite was amazing! Kitchenette with refrigerator, freezer, induction range, full set of cooking equipment. Combined washer/dryer in room. Sealed shower/bathtub room. Cozy bed and giant pillows. Don't be put off by the distance from Shin-Osaka Station. The taxi ride is not expensive. The breakfast buffet is no worse than you'd expect My only regret is that we were only staying for a single night. This will definitely be my choice next time I'm visiting Osaka.

Upon checking in, I happened to check the rates I have paid in the recent IHG flash sale with non-refundable payment, and then compare with what the hotel is charging in the IHG website currently, I was charged nearly 100% more, which is clearly a case of misrepresentation. I tried to settle the price issue with check-in staff. While my first encounter with the night check-in lady trainee was a disaster (she was rude and curt while brushing off my concern), the morning check-in lady staff whom I met the next morning is friendly and understood the issue I have faced. The price matter was resolved efficiently. I think IHG and the hotel would need to make sure such drastic price discrepancies should not occur again. On the other hand: * breakfast offered was OK and quality was satisfactory * the in room washer/dryer works well in the suite. There are in fact communal washer/dryer available in the 5F and 10F. * the room was comfortable, housekeeping is good. And I love the HI Firm pillows. Not sure why the other IHG brands cannot offer similar pillows 😁 * location is in Shin-Osaka and it is a maze trying to figure your way out of the station for the first time even with the guide provided by the hotel. We could not find the shuttle pickup point at the station during our stay. Other than the nasty encounter I had, this hotel is a good option for those who do not need to stay in the touristic area of Osaka and the price point is reflective of this fact accordingly.

location is a bit odd for visiting osaka but convenient for the train station. rooms were very clean and modern feeling, and the service was fantastic. they let us store our group's 14 bags for a few hours before check-in and a whole day after check-out. breakfast had great variety and was absolutely worth it.

Good for family with 3 person: washing machine inside the room for Studio room 1) location is almost 1km from JR station. Not easy to walk with young children, elderly and luggage. 2) shuttle service provided but each round only for 9 person. Interval is 20mims. 3) beds are comfortable, they provide soft and hard pillow for each bed. 4) simple buffet breakfast. Croissant nice: 5) daiso and aeon are walking distance from the hotel. 6) staff service great.. 7) coin washing machine available. 400yen to wash, 200yen to dry. Very great for long trip like us:

Great New Hotel (on other side of town) that is very clean, staff super friendly and helpful with most reasonable price rate for the type of room provided. However, the hotel has on 2 concern issues in my opinon, based on all IHG visits globally, I would say the breakfast was below average, especially for western foods and the hotel had no infornation regarding sightseeing areas in Osaka, Kobe or Kyoto, no tour group knowledge or contacts if guestscwere interested. The hotel also had no pool but was not a major issue in my opinion..

For a 3 star budget hotel, the King suite offers a fabulous stay. This beats some of the 5 star hotels I have stayed at. Everything looked brand new. The washer was a Miele! Having a mini kitchenette with clothes washer and decent sized freezer and fridge just made the entire trip more soothing. Also enjoyed the Japanese style shower bath set up that was enclosed off and completely sealed to remove the humidity (where do they come up with this genius planning?!) The separate Toto toilet with it’s own sink, lovely. Noise was quiet but in the wee early morning, I could hear and feel vibrations from….I am not sure. It did wake me up but I am a light sleeper. Pillows are large but comfortable enough and the bed is a bit on the firmer side but felt ok as well. Apparently the hotel is 3 years old…looks very clean and proper. Only thing that could make it better is if I could open the windows for fresh air. I brought a small stainless pan as they only offer budget non stick pans. Also there is no oven but mic. Room is narrow and there is not a lot of room to roam around, however I did not mind as I loved the amenities. Breakfast is not worth it- very budget and processed options. Go out to eat. There is a small sofa that turns into a single sofa bed too. Dehumidifier/ air purifier in room as well. It’s thoughtfully planned out.
