New concept in town, Peruvian modern restaurant with unique menu. Price is too expensive compare to the experience. Food is nicely presented but doesn’t bring any joy. Service was good but nothing memorable given the 45000 yen price.

This was for sure one of the best experiences I had in a very long time. Everything was executed to perfection; from the moment you enter the restaurant you’ll immerse yourself in a one of a kind affair. Service is very attentive and professional, alcoholic pairing is unique (wines and spirits from all over South America). And the food is just mind blowing. Using very special ingredients from both Peru and Japan, chef Santiago manages to impress with creative, but most importantly, delicious plates. Menu changes in accordance to product seasonality and I just can’t wait for the new one to come back to this fine restaurant! If you’re in Tokyo and want to submerge in a unique experience, this is the place!

Wow, what a fantastic food journey. The menu nailed the brief and was outstanding. The dining experience was quite personable and delicious. On a personal note, my wife and I had travelled through peru many years ago and this culinary delight heightened memories that came flooding back, like the taste of the menu. The food was exquisite, beautiful, and yet complex. Would recommend this to anyone. What a fantastic memory experience with knowledgeable and very friendly staff.

Restaurant operations UNACCEPTABLE as they keep playing with your credit card deposits over two months with no refund . They took your full deposit and would not return the deposit even if you made cancellation due to a date change more than several weeks in advance simply because their rsvp system is not working. Simply said, NEVER pass them your credit card number as I ended up cancelling all my credit cards and reset all my automatic payments. This is simply not acceptable after we have visited restaurants and paid more than 500$ per person for four persons. Foods were okay but you do not want to be the victim of their credit card fraud :(

The attention and atmosphere of the place was excellent, but let's talk about the most important things, the presentation and the food, honestly it was much better than I expected !!! Would go again.

Exceptional, world class culinary experience. Every dish is thoughtful, flavorful, beautiful, and anchored to Peru’s many ecosystems. Service is speedy, personal, and offered in fluent Japanese and English. Only 6 tables in the restaurantX they really take care of everything. Price is what you’d expect for this type of high end restaurant, at roughy 30,000 Yen + drinks/p. It compares favorably to similarly price options in Tokyo and blows NY out of the water IMHO (we live in NYC). Anybody traveling in Tokyo, do yourselves a favor and try this world class gem.

When you look up the word “exceptional” you’ll see Maz. When they say they take you on a journey, they really mean they take you on a journey… Food is beyond this world - correction. Food is a beautiful blend of all the worlds on this planet. The art and architecture of the Peruvian and Japanese ingredients make you appreciate each on its own and together. Service is fabulous - I thoroughly enjoyed the storytelling element. It’s not a story for the sake of storytelling; I heard in there partnerships with people who took bold risks to start their own vineyards or farms or cooking methods…much like the boldness in the creation of this menu. Applause to the Chef, the culinary team, the service team…you all have put on an exquisite dining experience. I’m willing to bet your Michelin stars are coming!

Maz at last. The Central of Lima, Peru is now a destination for foodies all over the world and the central opens here in Tokyo. We enjoyed journeys from sea to the mountains. Paring is quite interesting to know contemporary Peruvian cuisine.

Great gastronomic Peruvian cuisine and a feast for the eyes! Chef Santiago and team were wonderful. Each dish was tasty and beautifully presented. Using both local Japanese and Peruvian produce. Hopefully I can visit Peru and Central in the future.

Service was excellent. Good quality food. Love the use of local seasonal ingredients such as ayu for the ceviche. That being said, I would have loved to see more homely dishes such as chaufa and lomo saltado be incorporated in the menu.

The most exceptional culinary experience we’ve had to date, and we’ve eaten a lot of great tasting menus! The concept, execution and attention to detail here is out of this world - every single bite you take has been painstakingly crafted with a story behind it. Wonderful staff with a clear passion for their work. Utterly flawless from start to finish. Bravo, Maz!

The best meal and dining experience of my life. Santiago Fernandez running this branch of Virgilio Martinez' peruvian magic has surpassed frankly my dining imagination. He is awfully nice as well. The food itself, the journey, the serene ambience and friendly introductions. My pal and I were transported and so pleased. As if Tokyo ever disappoints, we went to Peru as well, with stayed homage to Japanese delights. Do not miss any of it and wine pair. Well worth every penny.
