This is a bucket list item; an absolute must see. The views of city, land, and sea scapes are beyond incredible. Best viewing time is an hour before sunset and into the night for the city lights. The weather is cooler and windier at the top. Conditions are posted in the funicular waiting area. There was outside, yakiniku dining with all-you-can-drink bar available during our summer visit. And the tables were located close to the overlook. The food was okay, but of course you are not there for the food. It's a great group experience. Be prepared for stairs (although some elevator and lift assistance is available).

This is a great place to take your family, or friends visiting to enjoy the vast view of the city. Take a cable car up while enjoying the view and another short ride on another smaller car to get to the top to see the best view. If you are so inclined, you could walk it up all the way while enjoying nature. There is a small cafe at the top to refresh yourself. Parking is only 100 yen.

It’s the one of the best place to chill out watching sunset having coffee. From here we can see the 360 view for Kitakyushu Yahata.

Great experience. Love the tram rides up and down. You can leave your car in an hourly charged parking lot. Went up there at night but better be wrapped up during winter nights, can be super windy. Overall, had a great time.

Fantastic place to visit,, especially the train journey. It's a horrible train line. but you get amazing experience. Top view was very nice, you can see as long as far on a shiny day.

The views from the mountain top was breathtaking! It is a good romantic spot too, leave your love notes on the mountain top and take amazing photos with your partner on the beautiful background of the city!

Nice view on top.. but it takes 30 minutes cable car que to come down after 8.30pm

Walked all the way from Yahata station to the cable car (30 mins walk up hill) only to see that the cable car was suspended. Unfortunately it wasn’t stated on the English website.
