We hired Mr Toad for the afternoon. Rob was a wonderful guide before we set off and after we came back, and the boat was easy to handle and ran perfectly. We'll be back!

A great little coffee shop serving the best bacon and egg sandwich I've ever had. Pretty little marina with day boat hire. A lovely walk alongside the canal in both directions.

A nice coffee, delicious lotus biscuit brownie (I really recommend this). Insode is spacious and the outside spot is just lovely, peaceful and nice to meet others, covid safe.

Beautifully setting overlooking the canal. Indoor and outdoor seating so suitable for all weathers. However the food service is dreadfully slow. We were their first customers on the day we visited and it took an hour to bring us 2 bacon rolls and a toastie!! For this reason I can’t recommend eating there although the food when it finally arrived was ok.

Lovely little coffee shop in a quirky building. The staff were so friendly, it was a highlight of our visit! Only loses a star because the food options are very limited, but to be fair it's a very small shop. Highly recommended!

A wonderful venue. Excellent, friendly service! All the food and ingredients were thoughtfully and ethically sourced to ensure high quality. A really high standard for a relatively small place but with a lovely atmosphere on the waters edge! I'd recommend it!

Called in with my family today, food was good but customer service wasn’t! Not greeted when we came in (only customers there at the time) I asked if they had a menu and was abruptly told by a young girl “it’s on the door” same sullen attitude when I went to order and then again when she brought out food, practically slamming it on the table! The only saving grace was the older lady who brought our tea with a smile. Cleanliness wasn’t great either. Certainly not the place it was when it first opened.

Fantastic food (cooked fresh to order) brilliant views, friendly staff What a beautiful place to sit and watch the world go by whilst having a cuppa and something to eat. Soft play area is a big attraction for the little ones 🙂

I’m a vegan and when I asked what they could provide they made a great suggestion. I had a smoked applewood cheese with tomato toastie, packed of crisps and a oat milk cappuccino. Great to see the cafe being so inclusive. Also stocked vegan magnum ice cream which was a real treat as was a sunny hot day and its the perfect destination for a sunny day

The location is beautiful and it could be an amazing cafe but it needs work. The service was ridiculously slow. It took an hour to serve 3 cheese toasties and a bacon sandwich and when I asked for brown sauce I was told sauce is usually chargeable but as we’d waited a while it was complimentary. I’ve never had to to pay for a condiment anywhere!! It seemed everyone was waiting ages. They said they were a staff member down but it wasn’t particularly busy.

Without a doubt lovely clean cafe, excellent standards, calm friendly service with a smile, this is my one go to locally because it’s a joy to visit. Thank you nothing to improve it’s perfect 👍 😊

The two women staffing this cafe seem to lack any kind of customer service or interpersonal skills. Being met by hostility & ‘attitude’ on a first visit does not create a good impression. I didn’t bother staying. There will be no second visit. Best avoided.

Lovely little place and setting although pity that there was a lot of weed in the marina. Lovely jacket potatoes and panini at a reasonable price and not just microwaved. Amazing how she works in such a small kitchen. Menus to read at your table would be good and if ice creams could be a bit cheaper but expect that they are the more popular items. Excellent for parking and a relaxed atmosphere Thankyou 😊

After a nice walk along the canal from Pudsey a perfect pitstop for tea and scones before the walk back down the river.

We called in after a good walk along the canal and tbh the staff are really nice , prices reasonable, latte was & other coffees ordered spot on , just one slight negative and that was the fat rascal scone which was very dry. Other than that lovely setting so a nice spot to relax.
