The bouncers there have little man syndrome and kick people out for fun and when they get bored 👍🏻 Asked two different members of staff where the RnB floor was, because the floor wasn’t lit up like it usually is. Next thing I was being grabbed by a bouncer and had my hands put behind my back, to where I resisted and asked him to get off as there was no need at all. If they’d have liked me to leave and they asked properly I’d have happily obliged, but instead they used force and created a scene that wasn’t necessary at all. Not to mention i was put in a lift with 3 other bouncers, all for asking where a room was 🤣if that doesn’t scream pathetic I don’t know what does.

People who are very interested in going to the worst pub in Leeds, this is it . They have the worst dance floor. You can’t even enjoy you’re day there’s no room to dance and enjoy. Moreover, I have to talk about security service I have no words to explain how unethical the security service is . They have no respect to the costumers. they literally abuse the costumers And they didn’t let some people who were completely sober. ** don’t waste you’re money**

It’s the worst club in Leeds, me and a couple of friends headed down to the club for their freshers night. I ordered myself a bottle and was allotted a table. The bouncers in the middle of the party randomly decide to push me out while I was on my way back to the table after using the loo. They were rude and wouldn’t even explain to me why I’m being pushed out. I wasn’t even allowed to collect my phone and jacket which was left with a few friends at the table. The security lady at the exit was extremely rude and kept intimidating us. She would treat us as if we were third class citizens paying no attention and dismissing any legitimate requests. Mind you I spent £250 on that night to have the worst possible experience. Honestly one can see why the club has piss poor ratings. Get your service right guys! You’re losing valued customers.

Went here for bongos bingo back in August and was trying to buy a round at the bar for £150. My friend tried to pay in Apple pay and was told the payment hadn't gone through. I then paid on contactless. However after the event we found that both our accounts had been charged. My friend had now been emailing with management to try to get a refund for over 2 months and they keep telling her they will sort it but nothing has come through. We are out £150 and they have repeatedly failed the date study had said the money would be refunded by.

I had a disappointing experience at PRYZM night club last night. Despite having tickets that I booked a couple of days in advance, the security guards, a woman, and a man, didn't allow us to enter, citing that it was a student night. There was no mention of this restriction when I purchased the tickets. I traveled all the way to Leeds, spending £30, only to be treated rudely by the security guard, particularly the woman who kept staring at me and dismissed my concerns with a rude attitude, saying it was my problem. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and I intend to escalate this issue to the relevant authorities. I cannot recommend this place, as both the entrance security guards and the internal staff displayed a lack of professionalism and courtesy.

Bouncers at this place were obviously all bullied at school and met at a support group. Then they swore revenge on anybody who looks like they probably won't put up too much of a struggle when they pick on them for no reason whatsoever . Love to see those sadcases work the door at a real nightclub with clientele that aren't spending their student loans and don't mind obliging steroid abusing pilchards out on the cobbles! Brainless meatheads who go home after the club closes and cry themselves to sleep because even bullying can't make the memories go away!!

Would give 0 stars if I could. One of the short bouncers on the door didn't believe my ID and kept telling me to calm down despite showing him multiple forms of ID. Another meat head trying to boost his ego

Can't say it was the best experience. Went to a comedy night, the drinks were very very expensive, we had some rubbish chairs too close to each other and the 3 stand uppers were suicidal mental health issues people that complained about their lives instead of making anyone laugh. The host was great though so well done

Went to Pryzm on Friday 18th Feb with 3 friends (1 lady 2 men). They opened 5 mins after they were supposed to. Everyone got security checks. I don't have an issue with that. But we were entering as the people were coming out from the previous event. Not good if you to go in feeling merry. But we were in the night was good. (Bar staff were sound, service was good and music was good. But as leaving because of the place closing for night. My lady friend needed toilet. So me and my other friends tried to wait but bouncer would not let us. So I were a bit annoyed. slammed door behind in annoyance. Didn't realise I got bouncer. He comes after me and gets hold of me. I retaliate back. Then I had 4 bouncers pinned me down. 2 of them straggled so hard to elevator that I could not breathe and I had my bashed onto the elevator. I also heard from my friends that everyone including the ladies were being thrown downstairs Wish the bouncers could understand there are people still needing toilet before they leave club and be more with getting people out of club. Otherwise there could have been a serious injury

Absolutely terrible!! Booked a booth which cost us £100 with a bottle of spirit in the curve room. There was a mix up for our table (booth) 2 days before travelling there. Contacted the manager who was great to start off with, told us we would have free drinks and a refund on the table also got told to order a bottle of house spirit (ciroc) so it could be processed into the till. However when we arrive we got took up stairs into the main room and was seated, we received no free drinks and ordered the “house spirit” which ended up being a 70cl bottle of Smirnoff vodka which cost me and my friends £85!!!!! When we could get one from the shop for £14/£16 so we proceeded to order thinking it was going to get refunded anyway. All night we was having a great time but was getting closely watched by the bouncer. After all of that and coming home I then have to message again about the refund, the manager was great and contacted me ASAP telling me he was chasing them up, but when I looked we only got £100 back so I messaged again asking about the bottle of drink we got told would be refunded and that’s when things turn bad with him saying we wasn’t going to receive the refund as he explained on the phone that we had to order it and then tried to tell me that we don’t really deserve one as he’s already had to “waive” the refund because we apparently didn’t book a table for the day (the mix up was it automatically got swapped that we was going on the 23rd July) no such thing, they didn’t tell us therefore it’s not our problem. And then tried to say it’s not their problem as they’ve gave us the £100 back (also explained how we never received free drinks that we was promised for the mix up) If I knew it was going to cost £185 to have a night out on a table with 70cl Smirnoff vodka I wouldn’t of gone. Totally rubbish and such a piss about to get what you are owed!! Definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone, and if you do still want to book make sure you keep them updated as THEY DO NOT MESSAGE YOU!!!

My friends and I arrived and asked when the cheese room would be open and despite all of the staff members saying the wasn’t busy enough to open cheese room (which doesn’t make sense anyway because how do they know that half of the people aren’t there FOR cheese room making the other rooms empty?) they had actually messaged us clarifying that it WOULD be open on the night we were going. They lied, and I called them out on it on the night because when we told them we had proof of them lying they panicked. Also, like many other reviews state, the bouncers do kick people out for no reason. My friend was lost looking for her friends and she got kicked out because they thought she was too drunk even though she was just looking for her friends.

One of their bouncers let my daughter & her group of friends in this evening then another bouncer followed them in & singled my 20 year old daughter out & told her to go stand outside for 30 minutes on her own? Apparently her eyes looked a bit droopy? To which she said admittedly she was drunk but ok & enjoying the evening with her friends but she didn’t want to go out on her own as he was adamant her friends could stay but she needed to step out for 30minutes? In Leeds they wanted to make a young woman who was drunk but definately not blathered (I picked her up so I would know) but this one security man was desperate to get her to wait outside alone??? Absolutely disgusting & just doesn’t sit right with me. Pryzm need to take a serious look at how they handle their customers especially young women that are shall we say in a more vulnerable state having had a few too many & we’ve all been there. Bouncers put up with a lot I’m totally aware of that but trying to seperate a young woman from her friends is just not right that bouncer should be trained way better.

The bouncers are all awful people, I asked to check the smoking area for my jumper and they told me to leave and to do on. One of the bouncers got hurt due to him getting told he couldent do his job. The whole club is a joke I would not recommend going there as it’s full of fake security who make money of stolen clothes, it’s an absolute fraud scheme.

No care or support for the staff. Nye, they had one girl on a bar that was swarmed by people, she was very professional but clearly the abuse being given to her by patrons was making her tear up. PRYZM should provide bouncer care or walkie-talkies for bar staff because the abuse she was receiving was shocking. They do not care about their staff, for this- 1 star.

I think employees should wear glasses. They accused us of using fake IDs to enter the pub and confiscated them. Then our friends can't attend the event because our friends have problems with the entrance staff, bad service, staff should consult more. Not one person said another and another said another. I think it's time for this place to shut down.

The club is quite fun but the people can be awful. Spent a whole night having to constantly watch out for guys persistently bothering us, but it does depend on the night on how bad it is. Bouncers did help me when they saw we were getting harassed by a guy so I'm thankful for that.

Even though many people seem to complain or dislike the nightclub, my friends and I had a very cool time there on Antics Wednesday. We arrived at ~0:30, security was nice with us. The DJ was nice, honestly better than the average of other Leeds clubs

Bouncers made a b-line for my 38 year old married mate and tried to make out he was a drug dealer. Never touched them before in his life. Complete idiot's who the radioed round to stop him getting in anywhere else. Ruined his night. Also, £10 for a rum and coke!? Piss take

Love the fact that 2 English African men grappled onto me accusing me of spitting on one of them when I never did playing the race card even after my cousin who used to work there told me to try it out because it was my first night in Leeds yet the bouncers were out of order grappling onto me without letting me explain what even happened. All I tried to do was buy a drink then I get 2 english African men grappling onto me and accuse me of spitting on them was bang out of order either sort your bouncers out or get sued your choice

horrible experience with a blonde girl at the door. showed them all proofs of my id on my phone, emails, bank accounts, social media’s and told me I couldn’t get let in because I didn’t have a ‘physical card’ with me and even after questioning my second name because it was different to my passport, proceed to tell me that it was an ‘excuse’ that I use my Mum’s name instead of my Dad’s now, which was a very personal topic for me and didn’t really see why it needed to be explained or brought up. after waiting outside for 40 minutes one of the nice bouncers finally realized that I had all proofs it was me and let us in & apologized. Really disappointed with the way i got treated last night, usually great service.

The venue is amazing, and the night / event I went to was brill. The only thing that was disappointing was a particular member of staff who was incredibly rude. Her name was ‘Georgia’ from what I remember but I could be wrong. All she did was give dirty looks to us all night, when we tried to order a drink she completely ignored us and walked away, she then continued to laugh and whisper to other members of staff. I tried to speak to someone about this however I got nowhere. She ruined the night and was incredibly rude.

My friends and i went to pryzm on saturday night. My friend threw up in the toilets to sober up a little (without bothering anyone). All of a sudden the door gets pushed open and a multiple security guards yank the three of us out of there and separate us from our friend. They didn’t examine the friend that was throwing up or ask if she was ok, they only cared about their own reputation. I have seen multiple people throw up there before with no issue. We understand that it is a safeguarding issue, but they did nothing to make sure that we were safe (many people probably get spiked there too) and we’re left without care. Basically didn’t care at all. To be fair was kind of dead anyway.

Rude bouncers, some people dropped a cup on mine head and they bouncers did nothing. But after I argued with the guy who dropped it on me, bouncers asked me out and kept them dropping cups guys in the room? Cuz they said I was trying to get troubles with them??? The managers and bouncers of this club really need to more education. You guys can not deal with that things foolishly and please paying more attention to people who are in the dancing room. I can’t image you bouncers allow that dropping cups and splashing drinks dangerous guys in the room and then even needing another customers to deal with it. It’s your guys’ job do your job seriously. And I was not trying to take your security job you don’t have to kick me out when I was arguing with that dropping something randomly people, Thank your job🙂

This review is very specifically for the comedy night on Saturday - we didn't stick around for the club. We had a really good time. Comedians were a good standard and there was a wide variety of acts. Tickets were only a tenner I think for the non-VIP seats, which were the same as the VIP seats but without a cushion! If we went again, which seems fairly likely, I wouldn't bother getting there until the doors close around 7.45pm as there is nothing to do before the show at 8pm except sit in a chair in the rows, drink and listen to the manager wrestling with the PA. One easy improvement would be to take a row of chairs out and add the chairs on to the end of other rows. It's a huge room, and while people packed together helps the atmosphere, it's not helpful if you can't get in & out without bumping into people. I like the Angel Comedy Club format where there are more comedians doing shorter sets and I think the first slot on Saturday here could have been chopped in half and an extra comedian brought in. It's good to leave people wanting more, and if a particular comedian isn't your cup of tea then you know it's not along until the next one comes on. But definitely recommended :)

Decent, not great for Uni students since its full of 30yr olds not afraid to grope you and your friends. Music selection is good in most of the rooms but the DJ can get annoying sometimes. I appreciate the layout tho, its a fairly nice looking club. Also, the last trains from Leeds stop around midnight making it difficult to get back after a night out unless you shill out for an Uber. Not the clubs fault just think its good to know.

I have a disability and when I don’t have a wee when I need it I’ll be in agony for the rest of the night. I had a wee along side walkabout bearing in mind I was completely sober and it was a matter of urgency and I repeatedly asked the door men to go for a wee and they said no. So I had a wee down the side of walkabout as if not I would of been in agonising pain they then refused me entry I then showed the door men my proof of my condition and they said your not getting in go find somewhere else and then as a 19 year old girl I was left to walk back to Hyde park on my own with no money.

It was a good club and all of the staff were really on it and friendly, would like to thank one of the bar staff (I’m not sure his name) who noticed i was getting harassed by a very drunk guy and asked if I was okay and needed help, as someone who works in a club that’s such an amazing attitude to have and did the completely right thing. However when balloons got thrown into the crowd it became like an uncontrolled stampede and people were jumping on top of others and it became very unsafe very fast, it got to a point where a man jumped over me to try and hit a balloon but ended up hitting me in the head and almost knocking me out completely, sending me really dizzy. As fun as it is it really shouldn’t be encouraged as it wasn’t just me who got hurt and very scared and ik a 21 one year old who goes to a lot of live music gigs and gets into pits, also working in an alternative club, when it’s encouraged like that it it becomes extremely scary and people do get really hurt by it, especially when it’s out of the blue like that. One of the female doorstaff did help me out after that though and made sure i was okay which was really kind of her. Not much bad to say other than if you do that try to make sure it doesn’t become out of control like that, as it was only a few people who caused it to become that out of control. Drinks are reasonably priced too!

Horrendous experience after a year of going, someone stole from us last night and security kicked us out instead of actually helping in anyway. We left upset and the girls who stole from us also left and came after us, security just stood and watched. Really disappointed, security checks were abysmal and the overall treatment of paying guests who haven’t done anything wrong is disgusting. We literally got robbed and one girl pushed me onto the ground, security didn’t even approach us. Don’t go here unless you want to be abused and kicked out for being a victim. All the security were terrible, especially the blonde woman who wouldn’t even let us explain our side. We will never be back, and we are disappointed we’ve been spending money there for a year.

Went to give my coat to a girl working at the cloakroom on monday morning around half 12 as i didn’t want to bring it in. She was the rudest member of staff i’ve ever had to interact with, giving dirty looks instead of answering questions and no manners at all. She sat there on her phone reluctant to do her jobs with a very bad attitude. I hope that I do not need to see her again and that something is done about this.

Went to a DIY disco on Friday, it was limited to one room (curve) and was not in fact a DIY disco. It was completely dead and the dj only played a mix of RnB/hip hop type music and he played none of the requests made. I then tried to contact pryzm afterwards to see if there was any compensation and saw how awful their customer service was. No one responded to my question and I had multiple people join and leave the chat. How pathetic

Came in with my wife. Honestly top place. Expensive drinks but the bouncers are great. Met a young bouncer called MIck. Helped me out alot , really good customer service skills from both the bouncers and bar girls. Will come again!

Probably the best club I've ever been in! 6 massive rooms in total with 6 different themes, such a wide variety of people depending on what area of the club you're in, PRYZM is suitable for anyone and everyone above the age of 18. The staff are amazing and friendly, the drinks are priced fairly, and the music is amazing, if one room doesn't suit you, you can move to another, or alternate rooms. What more could you ask for, I can't wait for Covid to be over so I can go back!! After a night drinking or working there is a KFC, McDonald's and a Tacobell right to the left as you're exiting all on one road 11/10 would highly recommend!!!!

Spend loads of money on a bottle of Moët & Chandon, which tasted old and like its been in the fridge for ages. Asked the waiters to taste, but didn’t have any knowledge about champagne. Unfortunately, didn’t get any refund or a new bottle. The bottle has been at least 1 year in the fridge, looking at the label (old design). Really don’t recommend spending money in this club, unprofessional service and no knowledge about the products they sell.

Take my customers here once a month on their night out with Leep. Learning disabilities people who have a night club experience of their own. Great night out for them all.

Bouncers were so rude when you go out bouncers supposed to make you feel calm and safe but yet 2 grabbed onto me so I pushed him off me saying why grab me when all I tried doing was to go out for a cigarette. Jesus Halifax bouncers aren't as possessive as you n that's saying summat

Toilets could do with an update, some locks not working. Could do with more seating than just for those paying for VIP booths. Medium sized room which is a plus. Various rooms, got confused as to where I was supposed to be. Not sign posted clear enough.

Have to say I was really disappointed with my experience at Pryzm. Booked dreamboys tickets for £30 per person. Were told to be prompt at 7pm or we would miss out on seating. We were then stood waiting outside in the freezing weather for 20 minutes before they'd let us in at 7pm. Greeted by the drag artist and two of the dreamboys who were lovely. Given our free drink... Which turned out to be a glass of lambrini. Not what you'd expect for £30 tickets. Next we saw the "buffet". A small table packed with farmfoods finest cold oven chips, onion rings, sausage rolls and cold plain nachos. We decided to pass on this. The show itself was good, however there were only three dreamboys in total and it was advertised as if there would be more of them. After the show you can take a picture with the lads, I did feel sorry for them as some of the drunker ladies were going pedal to the metal pushing and shoving and trying to touch and grab and grope. There is no nudity in the show either which we were told there would be. Once the show is over you have to stand around for an hour for most of the nightclub rooms to open at which point you get to experience the full effect of replayed music, rip off alcohol and sticky floors. The club is a joke. Used to be amazing when it was Oceana but nowadays they have no shame in charging ridiculous prices for drinks. Nearly a fiver for a VK????? I won't be returning to be practically robbed. Ive heard dreamboys experiences to be fantastic at other locations so maybe my advice is to travel to see them. I wouldnt see them again at Pryzm. Total rip off.

I (93M) was in there at 2am on a Saturday morning with my pet big mac and I immediately chucked it in the bin and started licking the floor due to the INSANE cleanliness of the place. The bartender was RADICAL but there wasn't any music playing which RUINED MY LIFE. 5 stars.

As a student in leeds for 4 years. It is safe to say that this club has one of the worst services/ staff when it comes to Asian people wanting to have a good time in Leeds. Racially abusing Asians and not caring for a lot of our safety too. From the bouncers to some of the staff indoors, the club has had a reputation for situations like this and I didn’t want to believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. Don’t bother going if you are Asian, will just kick you out an hour into your experience at this club

We were privileged by being served by Angel at the comedy club on Saturday night. She was so welcoming and accommodating for brand new punters. She was professional and calm in a very busy environment. I would love to return to the venue just on her recommendation and kindness. She is an asset to your company. Thank you Angel. We will be back!!

Went for the la loca night expecting a good atmosphere, paid £10 on tickets for just the curve room to be open, and when I asked the staff when the other rooms will open they said originally it will open at 12:30. Didn’t open. Asked again, it will open at 1:30. Asked a different member and of staff and they said it’s not opening. Just piss poor really.

I had the worse experience at this place, the bouncers are rude and selective on people they let in/search. When I finally did get let into the club, I bought drinks and a table and a few minutes later I was told I needed to leave. No explanation what so ever. They are very selective on the people they let in, eventhough it was a private event I attended I attended. I was met with unhelpful staff who seem to tell you the stuff you want to hear and then proceed not to take any action. Overall, the a bad experience.
