The Staff couldn't do enough for us! Great food good portions! Nice atmosphere! Met the chef who came out to say hello after we praised his lovely dinner! All 8 of us really enjoyed ourselfs and will definetley be returning! Thank you!! X

We came in for a 50th birthday. Table service was efficient and friendly - a special shout out to Ella who was lovely. Most of the party ordered rib eye steak. Ella then brought out peppercorn sauce (which we hadn't ordered) as the chef said you can't have steak without peppercorn sauce so I whipped some up for you. What more can I say? Thank you for a lovely meal, perfectly cooked steaks and very reasonable. I think we've found our new local eatery..

Great food and drink service outstanding staff friendly and helpful

OK but a bit lack lustre. A strange rule applied to outside drinks which had to be served in plastic glasses if taken onto lawned seating area. Unfortunately my pint of real ale was average at best. But hey this could have been a one off. Food not being served when I was there, again I'm uncertain if that's always the case. Ample easy car parking, plenty of outside seating In summary, not bad but has potential to be so much more

Local nice place to meet for a beverage

The George is a great traditional British pub with a variety of beers and ales. My wife and I frequent this establishment to watch football every weekend, it has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are warm and friendly. Lou the landlady can not do enough for the costumers and their 4 legged friends, it has a great play area for kids. I highly recommend a visit.

Nice local pub. However, too many customers sat around the bar blocking service. Also, it's not a pub if you don't like dogs. Good choice of beers and wines.

Beer tasted off, dogs running around and barking. Toddlers running around at 20.30 hours on a Friday night. It's a shame as this used to be a fantastic pub.

Chose something simple in the hope it couldn't be ruined. I was wrong. The chips were pre cooked and warmed up. The salad consisted of limp lettuce with a few slices of cucumber in total. The wrap had the consistency of cardboard and the filling was unrecognisable. The table was not cleaned, I had to do this myself with the napkin. Never again!!!
