I love a good Range store shop to lift the mood on a gloomy day and remember when this particular one used to be a BIG W (Many moons ago), so as I was in Bradford with my daughter we went to have a quick look around and to get some decorations for Christmas. This store is mismatched, hard to navigate, hard to find ANYTHING that you need as it's all dotted around in different, unrelated, sections. For example; looking for tableware, we found what we thought was the aisle for this and commented on the limited range on the shelves.... Walked about 4 aisles further down and found more tableware! Still limited, but why are they not all in the same area? I've given the place three stars but that's only because the staff are so lovely - Oh, and the poor bloke trying to navigate the store with his pallet mover, down aisles that were full of stock, sharp corners and customers, having to watch he didn't damage anything, or anyone and keep going back on himself because there was simply no room for him needs a mahoosive medal!!! Not impressed by this one 😞

I am new to Bradford. But Range is best place for all type of Household Items and garden items. There is full of Christmas decoration things. Self service also available

Their is a variety of products here. Perfect for seasonal events as-well as they specialise a section for this. I highly recommend this to anyone as they have fairly low prices for indoor and outdoor decorations.

Fantastic shop especially in event time like Xmas and other

The shop was half way through putting out the Xmas stock. There were lots of pallets, large sacks and trolley cages on the shop floor which being disabled meant that we couldn't get down all the aisles.

Every time we go to the Range there is always something new, but the best thing at this time of year, you can actually see and talk to a member of staff in the aisle.

Came to look at Christmas trees. Staff member Shamas went above and beyond in helping us find the best tree for a local community centre. Helped us with all the queries we had. Very polite and professional. 10/10 customer service from Shamas. Thank you very much.

This is a brilliant store everything you need for Christmas. Also good for normal every day things only problem is they don't answer the phone.

I went to the range and explored the Iceland section and i was very happy with the variety and prices. I was served at the tills by a lovely woman called sobia who was impeccable with her customer service skills, she went above and beyond to make sure that we know what offers were available to us-only minus is no till staff, poor woman was juggling all by herself but still gave an outstanding service. I will most definately be returning.

We were looking for new suitcases and I know it's out of season but we looked, couldn't see anything for all the Christmas tat, asked an employee she pointed us across the store..... And nothing lol ended up at Matalan.

Bought a very large mirror today and the young man that helped us went above and beyond to help us and get it all in the car. He is a credit to the store and I am so pleased with the service i received from him today! He was Asian and wore glasses, I didn't get his name so i cant say but he told me he was only 22, he was running around like crazy helping customers in the store with a smile on his face, thank you for helping me, brilliant service from him, i'm so pleased!

Lovely lady in Iceland (Anisa?) who helped me out with some items. Short, asian with glasses on who I see regularly and is such a help. Nothing's too much for her and always has time for a chat 🙂. Highly recommend!!

One shop for all home decor…..

Its a great place. Everything in one store. They have stunning items. That make your home and garden perfect. If you haven't been yet give it a try you will be amazed.

Staff do look moody & rude the way they deal. If you ask for help there were 5 employees chatting to each other they just kept ignoring. Worst behavior after 10 mins they felt ashamed and 2 of them came to help with faces on. Had really bad experience there.They DEFINATELY need some GOOD customer training & Skills.Customer services have gone down the drain .Bad

Lots of Xmas decorations, cheapest place at the moment for indoor outdoor lights at large lengths.

Went to look round with my son and daughter in law for a toy box or storage unit with a seat seen a few price good will have a think and make there minds up plenty to see at the Bradford one

The products are reasonably priced however everytime I've visited the place there only 1 or 2 cashier's and they never seem to be in hurry even when they can see there are people who have stood thier for over 7 or 8 mins and even 10 mins when they have are just 3 or 4 items and the cashier's are actually very polite. Its just an observation and not a criticism

Just love everything in this store.. So much variety to choose from, was spoilt for choice. Definitely worth a visit for home shopping.

Wow. We used to visit this place all the time a few years ago but it's gone massively downhill. Firstly, it's half the size it was because the other half has been turned into a B&M. Fair enough, if not for the below... The stock was all over the place...SO badly organised. Nothing was correctly priced or located, especially in the toy and crafts sections. It was always a bit of a jumble but it's got so much worse. Thirdly, as I write this review (Jan 22) we are all supposed to be wearing masks in shops. There were literally announcements being piped over the tannoy system telling customers they were obligated to wear masks unless exempt (to "protect staff and other customers"). *Not only were the vast majority of the customers unmasked but all the STAFF were unmasked too (with the exception of one person)...* So if you're an anti-masker you'll be more than welcome here as nobody will challenge you! Needless to say I'll not be going back to The Range and I'd recommend, if you're at all concerned about contracting Covid, avoid the place like the plague.

Absolutely disgusting and time consuming. I wasn’t informed that if I was to return the Flymo lawnmower bought from their store, I would have to ring the customer service of the company for the lawnmower in this case Flymo, MYSELF before the store could accept the lawnmower! I had to lug my lawnmower around between two diff stores as the first one wouldn’t accept it as it was until I rang Flymo customer service and for a return reference for the lawnmower. This was completely time consuming, distressful, upsetting and very inconvenient for me. It was very hard as on purchase I was told they would accept it if I had to return if it was faulty and they did not mention that I would have to ring customer service myself and get a ref number before they would accept the product as a return. If they had informed me of this on purchase. I would have not purchased the lawnmower from their store or any The Range store. Now I know their policy and the inconvenience of returning an electric item. I would NEVER purchase an electric item from The Range every again! Please train your team with the correct information regarding electrical item returns so this does not happen again. And don’t assume all your electrical items or lawnmowers are working fine and customers would not need to go through the return process of ringing customer service themselves. Please inform us on purchase the process in case we get an faulty item. Thank you.

It's ok you can find tons of things for home hardware, DYI, car care, and furniture. What I like is the quality some items might be a bit more expensive of B&M but is ok for shopping. If you compare both have great quality and fair price.

Very good value for money and excellent customer service. The have a vast range of affordable toys. I requested for a price check on cocomelon stackups. The gentleman dealing with my request was very friendly and also printed a price ticket. Thank you for making my experience a pleasant one!

If I could give zero I would. Had a few bad experiences in here now. Said I wouldn't go back in last time but had to go back in for something, but this time I mean it. Last time I complained, but this time I'll write a review and just won't come back. Wanted to buy some white paint, went to the staff member in the shop to make sure it was the right colour I needed, he said yeah. Got it home and it turned out a pail blue, I've had to wipe it off my skirting boards so I didn't have a blue coloured living room. These people who work in there don't know anything about DIY in the home, they've never even had their own house probably. Lack of knowledge, lack of empathy for customers, poor customer service and poor products.

They have anything you need for the house. From gardening to DIY, furniture, paints and many many more household items.

Went in for a mattress, 2 staff in the bed area were quite unhelpful in helping me decide, I decided on one myself that wasn't in stock, I asked which ones were in stock and was told "none sorry". Usually very well stocked store in general with a huge variety of items.

They had exacly what i needed and infact my items arrived much sooner, also have noticed there is a flexible payment option should uou need to spread the cost very very handy.

Large store with lots of variety and mainly good prices. First time visit, walked around in circles for a while so my only gripe is there wasn't a staff member around to speak to for directions and item query.

So much to choose from! Dor every room. In your house & more, great range of outdoor and garden accessories, it's quite an experience! So much to feast your eyes on! The canvases are beautiful with every taste from the subtle to the more flamboyant and fabulous colours. Great bathroom section with accessories I a great range of colours and designs. There is DIY section with a lovely range of wall papers and soft furnishings. So much choice it's an amazing store! I gave it a four star as our visit to the store on Thornton Road in Bradford was almost spoilt by a rude member of staff who ignored my sister and I when we politely made an inquiry. She rudely dismissed us and spoke brusquely saying "I'm tending to another customer." She saw us waiting when she had finished but walked away talking casually to a colleague. We spoke to her colleague Instead who helped us and smiled while doing so. She stood nearby almost sneering as she looked out of the corner of her eyes while her colleague tended to us.... this could have marred what was otherwise a very nice afternoon spent at rhe Range.
