The food here is so good it's unbelievable! It's like they've been perfecting their food for 500 years! I tried their fish, lamb, chicken, and bread and I've never had such an amazing experience like that. I'd think this place is worth a visit.

Late to writing my review but came about a month ago with my mum for breakfast. The halwa puri here has been our favourite for years!! Desi tea was one of the best I’ve had, got another one for takeout. Samosa chaat was great. The only negative would be that the restaurant was cold but the food made up for it

Mmm no comment! Fab Desi breakfast, as they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I'll go far to say the most calorific as well 😀 After eating such a healthy breakfast, you will want to sleep again. Priced according.

So we managed to get in lastnight at 9.30 and eventhough they close @10pm the owner waqar was nice enough to wait for us and let us enjoy our food without rushing us & whilst also being a great host. We all ordered lamb masala dishes but he also provided us with complimentary freshly made chana masala and seekh for us to try. Taste.. well typical sweet centre standard meaning high!!! Quality meat, pure old school along with their signature mint sauce. Seekh were on point and the chana masala was on another level. We will def be coming back, has taken me 20years to go there wventhough im a local and now il be a regular.

Haven't been in Bradford in many years and this was the first place I wanted to visit. Ordered my kebabs and samosas and it was just as amazing as when I was a child. Top quality and lovely nostalgia

Sweet Centre Bradford An institution and a household name that serves the best Karahi Dishes in Yorkshire. Been coming here since the early 70's, no glitz and glamour, just simple , authentic & traditional flavoursome food in a beautiful surrounding

Had breakfast here with family. Very fast service and good customer service. Portions good with excellent value for money. The food was authentic and tasted like it was actually made very very recently. The tea was warm rather than hot but that's pretty minor. The puris were really soft and delicious Will definitely come back again if i am in the area.

Fantastic tasty breakfast. Slightly crispy but soft puris paired with spicy, saucy chickpeas. We all enjoyed it immensely. Makes a big change from the usual fare. Slightly pricey but the quality was excellent.

Nice and cosy ambience. Food is cooked to perfection. Chicken seekh kebab with puri are delicious and their chick peas they are soo good perfect spices. Best of the best is their desi tea. Service was slow or else they would get five stars.

Had a late lunch so came here because of their history. Inside was very nicely decorated seat's very comfortable, table nice and clean. It qas 3pm on Wednesday so it's empty. The food was good nothing special could tell all ingredients were fresh. The wife ordered the desi breakfast. Pratha was a little greasy, chaney were soft and saucey, halwa was really good, not to sweet. I ordered bhalti ghost which was better than the breakfast. Lot of better options so won't be coming back.

One of the oldest of Bradford Curry houses, this is comfort food at its best. This is a grandad's recipes made with love and care in the traditional way by his grandson, warm and friendly staff make the experience absolutely lovely. Can't fault it. As a vegetarian also found the large variety of vegetarian dishes fabulous, particularly the veggie samosas

super quick service despite the long queue in the morning, I thought I would have to wait for a long time, however once at counter served immediately. Menu Items priced reasonably. And seems like things made fresh from scratch by the chefs. Only thing I would advise is keep table clean, I am understanding in the mornings when it’s hectic it can get quite busy but having someone on the lookout helps. Since I work close-by on weekends, I think I’ll be a regular. Allah bless your business.

Been going to the Spice Centre since the mid eighties, and is and always has been my 'go to' Curry House in Bradford. Great Ruby Murray!

On arrival I was greeted by a gentleman named Waqar, he was very pleasant. 4 of us dined in for my birthday meal and we all enjoyed it. I went with his recommendation of Kashmiri fish starter and lamb and spinach main course, I was not disappointed and I'd recommend those to anyone wanting to try the sweet centre. My only issue is I couldn't eat it all as they were very good portions. Excellent service with superb food. Thank you 👌

Prices have gone through the roof. I have been coming to sweet centre for last 30 years but they just can't justify current prices. Everything now is an extra (like chutney) I definitely would not recommend. Food quality has dropped too.

One word to describe this place, Impeccable, The Food especially Lamb on the bone tasted so delicious, it melted in my mouth, I am definitely going back there for the food, the scenery was a bit old fashioned however, nothing wrong with a bit of nostalgia, taking it back to the older days, as well as the food and the scenery, the service, do not listen to other reviews regarding this based on other reviews, we are all human and can become fatigued especially as the night goes on, the waiters are all amazing, they conversated and provided a service which I can not fault, everything was dealt with in a swift manner ensuring me and my guests were happy upon entering and leaving. Definitely give this place a try if you have not. 9/10 Overall

I haven’t been here for about 6 years I used to be a regular but felt the food at that time wasn’t what I’d come to expect has I was in the area on Saturday I called for a takeaway shami kebab as good as ever the chicken masala desi style was good too although had to drain off quite a bit of oil the roti wasn’t that good

I ordered a meal which i must say was nice but when i lifted the third chapati from the plastic chapati basket i was nearly sick. It obviously hadn`t been washed for a long time.

Been coming here for 50 years. The seekh kebabs are still my favourite and the best in Leeds and Bradford. I not happy with new seating plan. Only two people can sit together. So not family or group friendly as before, no plain water in a jug or glass available. That was also a bit of a shock for a islamic business. Pani b nee dayta!
