Ordered delivery for specific time, food turned up a phone and 45 minutes late, I understand weather was bad but I live less than a mile from the shop on a main road. As expected food was lukewarm, fish & chips soggy and half the order missing. Driver was excellent said he would return with the missing portion of the order as shop had definitely misinterpreted the order. Missing order turns up but this time mushy peas missing.. I used to really appreciate this place but now ..........

***UPDATE*** Recent visit 12:30pm 04/08/2023 - my lunch break. Small fish and chips ordered with mushy peas £5.55. Luckily, I paid with cash. The lady who served me said the fish would be fresh and ready within 5 minutes. I waited away and by this time it was 12:55pm. I went back to request a refund, and the employee was coming up with all kinds of excuses bearing in mind that others had come in after me and were served. My refund was given back to me like I owed her rent lol stinking attitude. Also, while I waited, I slowly looked around and noticed how dirty the shop actually was and that too for those eating in with flies roaming around and a leak in the ceiling dripping away. A waste of my lunch time, sadly. I will no longer be returning. The shop needs a deep clean and a lot of basic improvements needed. Good luck Fish Dish. Kindly greeted and friendly atmosphere on each visit.

When the meal arrived it was hot and the person who brought it was well mannered and polite the fish and chips were really nice

I always eat at fish dish as I am a regular customer and I always enjoy the food here! Its great value for money. I love that they have a secluded bit out of the way which is always quiet, where I always sit! Thank you for the food today and the service.

Called in to get a bite the lady and the guys service was terrible like they were forced to be there. I felt like grabbing a fish and slapping their faces Place it self is big with good seating.

Order online now and then. Food very tasty with generous portion sizes. I have had occasional issues with website being slow/unresponsive but generally my experience has been positive and they try hard to put things right if anything goes wrong.

Place is filthy to start off with. Wasps flying all over, Ketchup, sauce bottle not even clean, food wasn't the best, only ordered chip butty and fish cake. Seriously nothing like before

Went today fish was like it had been warmed up batter wasn't even crispy chips was like scraps couldn't even put a folk in them the cuppa tea came with a load of brown stains near again n the curry sauce was like water

Fish was very poor tasted like it had been left rotting in a market, such a shame I remember growing up I used to love that place. Also cookery was dirty I had to ask for a clean folk. For me never again

I love the fish dish, the staff are helpful and friendly, the food is very good and it's a great place to go for your fish and chips. 1 small fish with chips + peas or curry sauce all for £3. a great deal.

Everything on the menu is awful. You probably wondering why am I giving this a 4 star? The fish is 10/10. Every time I come here, I’m scratching my head as to how can there be a huge difference in quality from the fish in comparison to how awful the rest of the food is. I would genuinely give this a 5 star IF everything else on the menu was improved, the chips are NOT edible. I would only come here for the fish, nothing else.

Staff are great, He/She/They/Them were amazing with the kids. Food was good and soooo much of it. Had to box it up to take home as we couldn't finish it all.

Ordered fish and chips with mushy please, the fish portion was extremely disappointing, it was cooked well and not so greasy, the fish was nice but the potion was very small. I’ve had better fish, probably wouldn’t visit again.

Nothing special the staff were brilliant food was disappointing used a groupon so it was reasonably priced. Good selection of foods available, the chips tasted really good poor sausage and fish was reasonable.

I was disappointed with the food as it definitely has gone down hill since I last ate I remember the chips before were cooked just right but on the day I ate again the chips were hard and looked like had been fried several times as they were dark and dry in colour The fish was more batter than fish and the inside was not cooked as the battery was soft as it was thick I was disappointed with the experience as my mum was looking forward to eating there as this was the first time she had been out in some time due to covid

Nasty donner (zoom in of possible). Fish was still really most that the batter was wet inside out, if that makes any sence.
