First time visit today 9th November 2023in over 10 years. What a surprise! It's huge. An extention with an upstairs cafe and, another cafe downstairs at the back of the store. The product range has grown massively in quantity and quality. Absolutely brilliant isles full of wonderful products for Xmas and, other times. The Xmas displays were extraordinary fabulous. We didn't have enough time to get round, nor enough money as the prices reflect the state of divided Britain where only the better off can afford to shop here while the rest live in a Victorian/Dickensian hoval of poverty division. 5 stars for the store as it was fabulous

This place is amazing, I’ve never seen a garden centre so large! There are dedicated sections for indoors, outdoors, animals, fish, food market hall, a cafe and a restaurant to name a few. The staff are friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. Super happy with the plants we purchased, I can’t wait to watch them grow!

What a fantastic garden centre . It's full of lots of fun things to look at great quality items. There's a casual cafe and a more sit down meal restaurant upstairs. The cakes are absolutely ginormous and very well priced. The staff are very friendly and it's a great place to take kids especially at Christmas

Took my 11 year old daughter to this banquet for the eyes. Tong really do pull out the stops at Christmas. Such a magical experience with so many unique products to gorge the peepers on. Went in not wanting to spend much then got to the checkout with items totalling over £100. BE WARNED! 😝 Highly recommended.

Great new restaurant Mezannine! Book before you arrive. Clean place. Good service & helpful attentive staff. Glad we tried it. Food was exceptionale & served in beautiful churchill china. Enjoyed the experience & value for money was a bonus. Loved the interior decor colors & herbs hanging from the ceiling. Mediterranean vibes 🌟🌟

Absolutely love it here!! We visited here last weekend for our very first artificial Christmas tree (7ft) and it looks great. The tree itself looks so real, it was easy to put together and the quality is just brilliant. The shop itself was super busy but the queues at the tills went down super quickly and the staff were so warm and welcoming. We also shopped in the food part and picked up some great quality meats and frozen meals. Really great value and they taste amazing! I would definitely recommend Tong Garden Centre to anyone unsure about making the trip. Great for a Christmas shop!

Second time visiting, the food downstairs was very disappointing last time so tried upstairs. They got our order wrong but quickly fixed the issue and brought fresh food out and apologised, they even offered a plastic plate and cup for my little girl to share my food which was really nice. Would definitely recommend eating upstairs although a little pricey £20 for a cheese burger and chips It was lovely to see all the Christmas things out, great displays and the play area is fantastic. I have a 10 month old and she loved it 🤩

Excellent garden centre. Huge. So much there, they’ve got shelves full of your usual garden centre things, furniture trees etc. but also so many toys house decorations etc. they’ve also got a couple of clothes shops within the centre. There’s a big soft play with restaurant as well. Gets busy but lots of parking.

The atmosphere is really festive at the moment but not a great deal of plants about. Strange for a garden centre. The cafe was so busy and short staffed that the wait was 35 minutes for hot food but only 25 mins for drinks. The restaurant was bookings only and that also had a large queue even for people who had booked. The Christmas displays are as good as ever. Well worth a visit.

Visited here hoping to see if they had their Christmas decos up yet and although they were still in the process of putting out their displays, staff were very helpful with looking at the festive lights and I picked some baubles from the wide variety of beautiful Christmas decorations. The only things not really out on display were the electronic village scenes and main display at entrance as the latter was being made ready for Halloween. I shall be back though for a snooze around the full display of village scenes.

This place is AMAZING. First time I've been but won't be the last. Loads of things to look at with a wide range of plants, gifts and food on offer. A bit pricey but good quality. Can't wait to go when they are all set up for Christmas.

Large garden centre. It also incorporates smaller shops. (Clothing, toys, food places etc.) Has a restaurant and cafe on site. Both quite pricey. As are most of the items on sale throughout the centre. Worth a visit though. Even if you're just window shopping. Sometimes you may find a small bargain. But not often.

Visited Tong Garden Centre recently with husband and father. A large Garden Centre well stocked with a great selection of plants, Christmas trees, shrubs, soil, Ornaments, Decorations, and garden accessories. Also a good variety of Gifts,Toys, Gift sets of Fruit preserves.. Biscuits, Chocolates, and Spirits, bit pricey but great for a Special Birthday or Christmas present. We went into the Blooms Café inside the garden centre for Tea and Cakes, lovely selection of sandwiches, hot food & cakes.. Lush Chocolate éclair, Giant Scones & Vanilla Slice. A great day out for couples and family.

Visited before but have never engaged in the Santa visit before, I have to say I was not disappointed! The experience was amazing, we had an elf named Tinsel show us through the stages and she was absolutely amazing! Then Santa himself was lovely, gentle, patient and unhurried. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone! I really think it was value for money!

As well as everything for the garden, there is a huge range of gifts and Christmas decorations. The mezzanine cafe is very stylish - they could consider hiring it out for evening events with cocktails served at the counter in the centre. I had a pot of tea with three mini cakes for £6 - all lovely. This cafe and the toilets are upstairs and there is a lift for easy access. There is another cafe on the ground floor too. Obviously like all garden centres it is quite pricey. More disappointingly for us they don't allow dogs in.

This was a very surprising Garden centre to visit for the first time. Larger than expected. Has a farm shop, butchers, cake stand, clothing, plants, sheds, garden tools, aquatics selling pond fish. You can feed the fish, kids will love itAnd to my Gandaughters delight a huge children's play centre £1.50 per child two adults go free. Has a ice cream shop and cafe, all reasonable prices. Absolutely brilliant place to visit

Took the kids here to use the indoor/outdoor play area, kids absolutely loved it! The outside area is the major selling point for me, loads of stuff for them to climb, run around, jump off. A massive inflatable balloon type thing for them to bounce on, I'd say it's one of, if not, the very best play centres we've visited and we've visited a lot! 😄 The food was great as well, I ordered a 12 inch pepperoni pizza and cup of tea, little bit on the pricey side but where isn't these days!

Grasshopper was so much fun for the kids an for all ages , we took a 1 year old, 3 year old, 4 year old an 11 an all had equally enough fun there’s a huge indoor an outdoor area. An after you done with a session abt 2.5 hours , you get the best bakery to take some goodies home

A super place to visit for garden plants and oodles other things including gourmet food, garden furniture, toys and gifts. Really enjoyed time in the massive play area with our toddler grandchild! We visited the mezzanine cafe and I can highly recommend the sweetcorn fritters with chilli jam and lime guacamole.
