We have been coming here for years for pantomimes and shows. It's such a lovely theatre, it feels so grand. All the seats have a great view and tickets aren't badly priced. They still do the snacks/icecreams during the interval and the staff are all really helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

Very nice theatre with grand architecture and good location. We watched The Lion King here and it was an amazing performance. Plenty of parking options nearby (we parked in the nearby NCP). I highly recommend seats C18 and 19 in the Dress Circle which gave a nice view of the stage. I would definitely visit again.

The show was absolutely amazing! The seating however, was quite snug. I was sat next to a larger set lady and found myself with very limited movement throughout. The theatre itself is beautiful and the staff were friendly.

The Alhambra is a beautiful theatre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There's no central Isle in the stalls, so expect to be getting up a lot to let folk past to their seats.

A wonderful old theatre that has retained all of its character. The atmosphere of the place adds to the overall experience. It's family friendly and they are mindful about accessibility. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. The leg room can be quite limited, but the chairs are reasonably comfy. There are several public car parks nearby.

A beautiful theatre with a wide variety of shows. The Broadway car park is about 10 mins walk away. There are bars within the theatre with some food being served during the day. Toilets on the ground floor and also the dress circle area.

We went to see The Bodyguard musical, which is a powerful show, both emotionally and musically. It was our first visit to The Alambra.and for all we were in the upper circle, it didn't detract from the show at all. It was near enough a full house for the matinee performance, which is brilliant.

Visited with family for the annual pantomime. Used the NCP parking which is just 5 mins walk away. The show was good and entertaining, beautiful stage effects, comfortable seating with no obstruction. Seat risers were available for little ones. Overall well managed. Entry and exit was smooth. Will visit again.

I went to watch a musical for the first time. We got some drinks and snacks before the show and the prices were quite reasonable. The downside is that there isn't much seating in the foyer so we had to stand up for a while before going into the theatre. It was quite easy to find our seats and the staff were very kind in telling us that once most people had entered we were free to sit in other seats if they were empty. Our seats were on the very back row but we didn't mind as we could see and hear everything. The performance was excellent and we had a really good time. The theatre is very old but well maintained and it has lots of character. The only downside is that the seats are quite snug and do get uncomfortable after a while. Would definitely visit here again.

A great place to watch the shows you love, got seats in the upper circle row c seat 3 and 4 and was plesenty surprised, it obviously stated restricted view and I was thinking the worse, but had a fantastic time, some slight restricted view to the left of the stage but the binoculars helped 😀 slightly extortionate price's on the memorabilia but I expect that at places like these

A truly wonderful treasure of a theatre, with beautiful architecture and gorgeous decor. A visit to the Alhambra Theatre is a first-class experience, from the polite and helpful first-rate staff to the incredible variety of productions that it puts on. All in all, it's a top-notch enchanting experience!

Lovely theatre. Great views of the stage and excellent sound. Comfortable seating and well organised by the staff. A very enjoyable experience 😊. Actually the first time back since lockdown and thoroughly marvellous afternoon with a 98% capacity audience. My only concern is the lack of toilets. Is this because I missed the signs or are there few toilets for the number of people 🤔...and I am a man!! I feel sorry for all the women who normally are short changed in venues.

The Alhambra is a fantastic venue to enjoy some entertainment. You can enjoy a drink at the bar before watching the show. Then, make your way down to sit in the comfortable seats. We've always had a brilliant time here.

Watched Inspector Calls. Busy Saturday evening. Snacks/drink were expensive so being your own! Although it was very off putting when audience members were opening crisp packets and eating unaware its disturbing for others . Seats not the most comfortable, not much leg room. Our seats where in dress circle. Staff were informative and friendly.

Old theatre feel and probably original seats as they are hard and small. There's a cafe and a bar restaurant. Intermission concession ice cream was £3.50. Great shows. We loved Buddy Holly

Nice to be back for the panto, Jack and the Beanstalk this year. Billy Pierce was on form as usual. How does he still manage this after all these years. Loved the dancers, their costumes, and Billy's silly jokes. We look forward to seeing the panto every year, it makes the Xmas holidays for us. Many thanks.

The show was brilliant great family night. Just ashame the chairs are so close to the row in front n behind n are extremely uncomfortable.. Would be lovely to be able to of sat comfy. Really great for kids and grown up. The upper circle kept its bar closed though so didn't buy anything so can't comment on prices etc n the que for the toilets were ridiculous.

Lion king absolutely fantastic show and worth every penny. The stage production, music, theatre actors absolutely superb...I can't get over how brilliant this show was from start to finish. Flawless....considering they've been performing for weeks. I'm speechless. Well done 💯💯💯

Wonderful experience! The staff were friendly and incredible courteous. Theatre is magnificent! First time we have watched an Opera (Madama Butterfly) and was blown away by the beautiful set, costumes and colour. The power of the voices was astounding! Only negative was the water we purchased at the kiosk. Expensive at £2 each. Bottles difficult to open and close, also made of soft plastic which was noisy when drinking. (Not ideal during performance)

Visited Alhambra Theatre yesterday to watch Lion King. Beautiful, clean place, with helpful and kind staff :) Little minus for massive que to toilets, on the break there wasnt enough time to use it and go back to the seat on time

Nice old theatre with lots of traditional features. View from stalls and dress circle good. Would avoid first 2 rows of upper circle as view is a little restricted but rows after that are perfectly fine. Wish theatres would modernise a little- maybe have cup holders on back of seats or somewhere to put coats and bags as there's very little room at each seat

🫤 The retaurant has parking and excellent decor inside. It's really a nice restaraunt however, the one staff member that is the waiter is not good at customer service - he is there just because he has to be - this should not be obvious.
