Cascade Pet Hospital

Veterinarian

šŸ˜  I recently took my 16 year old dog to be euthanized here and I found the vet trying to sell me teeth cleaning before he goes extremely uncalled for and unpleasant. Especially because she indirectly accused me of lying about him having a rabies vaccine and didnā€™t actually bother to look in his mouth... I adopted in a 13 year old kitty who had never been to the vet before. I took her to Angel Pet Hospital (I talk about Cascade later in the review) as they were recommended to me by a reliable family member. My experience was terrible. The front staff were kind but Dr Singh was rude, performed unnecessary procedures, costly with no efforts to help my cat get better, she actually came back to me less healthy than when she went in. Started her on antibiotics and paid $1600 for no improvement. He stated my cat couldnā€™t be touched without anesthesia due to her being violent with them. Her health was worse than before I got there. She came back to me covered in feces. The vet told me they did all the testing they could do and if I wanted further tests to take her someplace else but that she would need more anesthesia and it wouldnā€™t be good for her. I asked what he was recommending and he stated not to take her due to risk and in her chart wrote I refused. Please donā€™t go to Angel pet hospital! I then took her to cascade for a second opinion and they were AMAZING!! I was so so anxious about taking my cat in I was in tears. So afraid for her stress and anxiety as Angel Hospital traumatized the both of us. They told us she was the sweetest cat, affectionate, purring and they did a full work up with labs. NO anesthesia required! Which solidifies my belief that Angel pet hospital didnā€™t treat her well! They were thorough and had a plan to actually help her with her health and had great recommendations, it was also only $300 compared to the $1600 at Angel. I canā€™t thank Cascade enough for the love they showed for my sweet cat. Iā€™m so incredibly thankful for the visit and all the staff there!!! I will be going there for all my cats health needs. I hope this review helps and saves an animal and owner from a traumatic experience and gives you a good one. Cascade youā€™re awesome!

Especially because she indirectly accused me of lying about him having a rabies vaccine and didnā€™t actually bother to look in his mouth to see all but 3-4 teeth had already been pulled. Hereā€™s a picture of his rabies tag for her, donā€™t forget yours if euthanizing your pet here or they will use it as an excuse to be unpleasant in your petā€™s final moments. This lady was literally acting afraid to get rabies from a VACCINATED dog with NO TEETH!

Dr. Zaragoza, vet techs and front desk are all super friendly. They welcomed my Blitzy with kind, gentle hands and voices and made her feel as comfortable as one scared 13-year old kitty going to the vet can be. Coming from one very OBSESSED kitty mom, who's life revolves around her job and her cat, I feel extremely fortunate to find a vet so close to home that does wonderful work for our fur babies. I'm sure we have all earned our fur babies have been our means of comfort during these crazy pandemic times. They need safe, kind and unconditional love and care too. Thank you Cascade! šŸ˜» Blitzy and her mom

My fur family and I love Cascade Pet Hospital. The staff is always kind, respectful and attentive to my petsā€™ needs and my worries/concerns. We recently moved to the Seattle area and understood we needed to establish Vet care ASAP. Yes, there is a shortage of vets and vet staff, the pandemic did not help this situation. Given this, Cascade usually cannot accommodate same day visits. BUT they are more than happy to point you in the right direction and listen to concerns. Dr. Taylor is highly educated and gave us all the information needed to make the right choices for our pets. Our puppy needed to be spayed and Dr. Taylor gave great advice. Needless to say, my pup was spayed, and healed PERFECTLY. I had concerns when we brought her home and Cascade was able to double check my pupā€™s vitals to ease my concerns. Of course my dog perked up when we got to the office. She just wanted to go back to say thank you to the staff and get all the treats. The cat is always happy to receive attention from strangers. He recently received dental treatment from Dr Taylor. While he unfortunately needed a tooth pulled I was glad to have followed the advice given as I had noticed him having some chewing issues. He also healed perfectly and it back to stuffing his face (in moderation). Thank you Cascade Pet Hospital!

This is a very nice pet hospital. Not open 24hrs. It's clean , equipped; The Vets are young..fresh out of school. I appreciate the education they share; the time they take to ask questions. They were nice to my puppy. However, if you visit please request all charges to be itemized and shared at the time of payout. They expect you to pay 100% at the time of check out! They need to be more transparent! Especially, with their wellness program they invite you to join; not required. They mention it saves 10% off services with a 15% reduction in neutering..with the wellness program. But is required to be Prepaid. Mind you their fee for neutering? $600.00 !! Way to high... Pay as you go is my advice if you visit this place.

This pet hospital is amazing and affordable!! The staff clearly love animals and they are incredibly kind and professional. They talk you through everything and allow you to sit with your pet while they check on them, I was even offered a complimentary appointment just because they wanted to make sure my kitty was okay. The environment is calming and soft and it is a proper soothing atmosphere for healing and care! I canā€™t describe how relieved, happy, and grateful I am for this pet hospital and the staff!!! thank you!!

Great experience, doctor seems like she cares a lot about pets compared to past vets we tried. Prices are average to other vets in the area. Would recommend!

extremely kind and compassionate, they handled my little bubby's last moments very well. the heart tape to affix his catheter was an extremely cute, sweet touch. I went to them because I didn't want to drag my cat an hour to his usual vet when he was ill, and if I get another cat(s), I'm absolutely just going here instead. Dr Taylor was was very patient listening to me just talk about both him and other cats I've had while I held his body, and I never felt rushed or like I wasn't listened to. Sarah (Sara? sorry, I never saw if it was with an H or not) was also very sweet and was very prompt with explaining everything. very affordable too, especially considering I chose a private cremation. I loved him so much and the grief is endless, but they worked to make sure that everything was as smooth as possible.

i don't think there will ever be another vet like dr.taylor. she cares about the small things, and she'll make silly notes about your cats underbite and his short fuse. she cares about the big things, and you'll feel that. she'll accommodate all your cats quirks, and she'll appreciate them. if you're looking for someone to really listen and go above and beyond for your kitty, then i truly hope you take them to dr.taylor. even my cat, who didn't like anyone, kind of liked her. and that's saying something.

We have been taking all our animals here for years. They took special care of our elderly cat and dog, and they were incredibly kind when they passed. Now we bring our puppy and she absolutely loves the staff!! ā¤ļø They are thorough, attentive, reasonably priced, and they will love your animal like you do.

Very unhappy cat but very happy cat mama! It may take a few days for my baby ball of Sunshine to come out of his hiding place - he's pretty mad at me right now, lol! But, his teeth and gingivitis have been taken care of and are healing because of the super-nice and knowledgeable folks at Cascade Pet Hospital. And, for much more reasonable costs compared to some other area vets nearby. (Certainly not cheap but at least attainable for me - other places sounded like they would be charging to do MY teeth.) Cascade was the 3rd vet we saw this year, and they also easily diagnosed asthma in Sunny when previous vets didn't think the symptoms I described at first sounded like a very big deal. Plus, they found a cancerous tumor when they weren't even supposed to be looking for one on my friend's little Pomeranian dog. I came here on her recommendation, and I'm so glad I did. Everyone I have interacted with over the past 2 months has been very professional, thorough and so kind. They obviously love animals and it shows. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Taylor and Staff! (Update: he came out and is hungry. Here's a pic. I'd say that's a good sign. Sunny says thanks for making the constant pain is his mouth go away soon. :)

I switched to Cascade a year ago and wish I had done so earlier. - couldn't believe the difference. Friendly and accommodating staff, QUIET, clean, all my questions and concerns were addressed, doctor is both friendly and knowledgeable. ((even opened the door for me one day when office was closed - power outage or something - so I could pick something up and not have to make a trip back. . . . and the most telling thing was that my did not shake at all once she got in the door - that was all the recommendation I needed ;-)

The staff is absolutely lovely, my experience with them was warm and comforting even when receiving devestating news about my beloved pupper. The vets are so good with the animals and very understanding whatever situation you may be in. I would definitely recommend them to other pet families. Thank you cascade pet hospital staff, your warmth and kindness means the world to me and my little pack.

Dr. Taylor and Dr. Zaragoza have always taken the best care of our baby boy Huey. Our kitty got into a fight with another cat and needed antibiotics and a cone (but thankfully no stitches!). Reception squeezed us in the next day, the staff assessed his injuries, took the best care of him and treated him quickly and respectfully while giving clear instructions on how we should proceed moving forward. I canā€™t thank them enough for consistently providing the best care for our fur baby. The staff is incredibly kind, professional and caring. If youā€™re looking for a place that treats all pets with the care and respect they deserve, this is the place! Not to mention, they really take the extra steps necessary to keep their kitty clients comfortable and happy. Follow-up is amazing and the facility is welcoming and clean. Thank you Cascade Pet Hospital!

Kind staff and wonderful doctors. Dr. Taylor was very patient with all my questions and took fantastic care of my cat while she was there. Even as a paranoid cat mom I felt very at ease with the quality of care received. Overall, a very low-stress visit for everyone involved!

I've been taking my animals to cascade Pet for years and will always recommend them. They have always explained any health concerns with my cats and dog very well. I've never felt pressured to pick more expensive options like other vets can. They make even my most fearful kitty comfortable and have been gentle and accepting to my lovey pitbull girl.

I have had nothing but great experiences here. Everyone is really friendly and helpful and they seem to really care about my dogs. I have a 12 (almost 13) year old frenchie/boston who has a lot of ongoing issues and they have really helped me figure out the best course of action. They are always very upfront with costs.

Always friendly. Always get us in, in a timely manner. The Vets and the vet techs genuinely care about our pets and actively listen. They mirror back what you've said before taking the next steps, which I fully appreciate. Highly recommend!

This place is small but they do a good job with communication you can text them even if you have questions and need to make a appointment and their great about getting back to you and trying to help any way they can. I do absolutely hate how you have to just drop your pet off and can't be in the exam room with them while their being seen it makes it feel like you don't get to really have a chance to ask any questions you may have or even just be there with your fur baby to make sure they are okay and feel safe so that's a definite bummer but I think just about all the vet clinics in this area are still doing similar things for your pets visits so it's not anything that's just with this particular vet clinic. Other than that they don't do emergency stuff so this isn't really a pet hospital like they say. It's been strictly just normal care visits here and anything emergency related they refer you to local animal hospitals so it's not really a hospital. They do remember me and my lady Luna though everytime I even text them they know who we are and what she's due for right away and so that's nice plus they even remembered she was having some tummy issues and asked how she was when I later contacted them about her shots she was due for so I like that they keep a good record on their patients and they are good about being a little more personal with each individual I feel like it helps especially with the whole not getting to be present for the exams thing so I don't have much else to say yet but if I do I will update my review.

I can't say enough about our first visit to cascade pet hospital. Our 6-month old kitten was sick after her spay procedure (done someplace else) and we were very worried. Everyone at CPH was so kind, professional and our Lola is doing great. We have found our new Vet. Thank you so much!!
